Helpp too real. Every day I open tiktok and do my happy little scrolling and get jumpscared by all the absolutely GUT WRENCHING posts. Given I also post marauders tiktoks and some of them are sad (my user is kyriefanfic btw if anybody wanna follow me). Like they is zero rest in this fandom. And then me and my best friend send each other sad tiktoks of marauders all the time so we just suffer together. Wouldn't trade it for the world tho

Guys in this post we will be combining my two fav obsessions: Percy jackson and the Marauders/Harry Potter(golden trio era). So for starters, Solango and Jegulus, one in the same. Harry Potter and Percy Jackson (the characters), so similar. Both 'chosen ones', both forced into their destinys, both super sassy. I feel like they'd either be best friends or have beef. More comparing characters, Annabeth and Hermione low-key, maybe cuz their both smart but I see the vision. Like they both are the only smart one in their trios. And keep the chosen one character in check. Now then we've got Grover and Ron, both the like forgotten characters basically. The sort left out one in the trio. They are less similar than others characters mentioned in this post but I hope you as well can see what I see. Can we just talked about how fucked up it was that Percy had to be the one to tell Nico about Bianca. Like we must remember yes Nico was a kid but Percy was too. Mans was literally THIRTEEN. Just Percy having Nico yelling and being upset at him then finding out he was a child of Hades and having to keep that in for Nico's safety while Nico was resenting him. And look Percy didn't even promise, we can see at the start Percy is already not sure if he can make sure Biance will make it. So he doesn't actually promise. Also like in like battle of the labyrinth Percy having to see Nico go from a happy kid obsessed with a game for CHILDREN to see him become this depressed person who just wants his sister back and doesn't even care about mythomagic is heart wrenching. Point is: Percy and Nico make me want to vomit out my insides but I love them and dear God someone just give them both a hug (Me to them: 🫂)

So my family has never read the percy jackson books so of course after they did the prophecy I had to ask them their predictions, my brother did not know. My dad reasoned that obviously it wasn't going to be anybody in the trio so they had to be one of the characters we met at camp. He said it wasn't going to be any of the adults. Then the only other person we met at camp and was Percy's friend was Luke so obviously it had to be him. And it just make me realize there should have been more characters in the first book cuz the traitor was kind of obvious if you look at it like that
