I have no idea how to start or end this post.

My cat is sick, I think he's eaten something poisonous, and he was foaming at the mouth. He's fatigued and sleeping, and I cannot avail emergency services due to my location and because of the time (it's 1:25 AM here). Tomorrow morning, I will have to take him to a local vet. I'm a 20 yo queer, neurodivergent Asian, and he is all the emotional support I have. I talked to the vet and he says my cat will need an xray, and already, I'm barely covering his monthly costs. My single mom is not in a position to support me, for reasons I can't go into. I don't have enough funds to even ask for a check-up to see what's wrong. The travelling cost alone of going to the vet's is going to be a lot. Most of you know me as Ennae on here. I'm sorry I'm asking for this, but please help me get my cat treated, if you can. I'm literally supporting myself through whatever little means I can (I'm an artist), and I'm not in a position to bear the cost of his treatment.

My goal is to raise $100 for now, please, please help me if you can. I'll keep everyone updated with the situation.

so, i have this headcanon

i know it's a thing (don't remember if it's canon or not, but is widely used/known) that professors are the ones who come to muggleborns' houses and explain hogwarts and their world and all that, and obviously harry got hagrid because he's a special case BUT

my headcanon is that because there's probably too many muggleborns for all the professors to get to, hogwarts alumni are the ones who go to them, and escort them and their parents to diagon alley for school shopping, they explain the whole platform situation and how to get to the train.

and like. can you imagine, fresh out of school hermione granger, volunteering to be one of these almost 'mentors' for a young muggleborn. and like this kid just adores magic and is so excited, reminding hermione of herself. and so the kid writes to mione from school and they keep in touch. and by the time hermione retires from the program, too busy between raising a family and running the ministry, there's like a dozen muggleborns who write her all the time and she sends them christmas cards and checks in sometimes just to make sure they're doing okay 🥺
