nothing matters, everything matters | By Nevi Ayu E.
I finally finished this! Haha, an illustrated poster of some memorable things from the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once and a moving version with the art process video with Hoshino Gen's Koi on the background.
From the top left (top-bottom, left-right) is the laundromat, the iconic "jingle" sucked into a bagel, googly eyes of course, jobu with a tribute to Jobu Tupaki's outfits (I've tried my best ;_;), hot dog fingers (pink hand, because it's my trademark lol), the rock scene, the ear piece (found that it was motorola lol, thanks to people on the net who've found the specific model), and the family karaoke scene!
Imagine a poster as a frozen moment in time, what came first and what will happen next? Taking the task of animate a poster from the constructivism period the choice was of working on one of the most famous art pieces by Alexander Rodchenko. On a rhythmic music in the background that recalls factories and machines the pieces that compose the poster come togheter. Screwing and sliding at their place the pieces end up to create the entire composition that will be eventually destroyed.
