One Week. 10 prompts.

Hello! I’m Dis aka @disillusioneddanny and with the help of two of the wonderful mods from the Batpham server—Gil and Kate, I would like to announce the summer writing event DPxDC Disney AU week!!!

Each day has its own pair of prompts set in popular Disney themes. You can do something using both prompts, or just one! It’s completely up to you as long as it’s Disney themed!

Yes! It’s only called Disney AU week because it sounds good! If you’ve got ideas from Dreamworks, Pixar, or even Studio Ghibli they are more than welcome to be a part of the event!

I can’t do the entire week but I want to do certain days, is that okay?

Absolutely! Make sure to post it the day of or after, don’t post it before the day arrives!

If you have any other questions feel free to send an ask!

Can i do just DP or just DC instead of DPxDC?

absolutely! This may be an event for the DPxDC server but that doesn't mean you have to do DPxDC! If you're more comfortable writing DP content--go for it! Same for DC content! Please still tag the works! We would love to see what you come up with!

omg i stumbled across your blog recently and your art is gorgeous!!! i love the style and the way you draw dick in particular so much!

also i couldn’t stop thinking about your tangled au it’s so clever! it got me thinking of an au of your au (if that’s presumptuous or annoying feel free to ignore this ask lol). but it always bugged me slightly in the original tangled that rapunzel could remember stuff from when she was a baby bc babies can’t do that lol (obv she also has magic glowing hair so suspension of disbelief and all). but what if dick was actually older when slade (or court of owls tbh take your pick) kidnapped him? like he came under bruce’s care just like in canon after his parents died, and was around long enough to become brothers with jason, and tim had just been adopted when dick and bruce have a fight and dick storms off. not as bad as comics and bruce doesn’t kick him out bc he’s not an ass lol, but maybe dick wants to do more with his powers and bruce is overprotective, so dick storms out fully intending to come back, but slade has been watching him and takes this chance to kidnap him. and when bruce goes looking for him all he finds is a bloodstain and no dick.

and obviously dick is very keen on escaping the creepy dude who’s kidnapped him, but slade brings him to the basement of the tower and begins to torture/brainwash him sort of like the apprentice arc. and over time bc slade sucks and is good at the whole brainwashing thing, dick slowly looses his memories and eventually can’t remember a life outside of the tower at all. and he continues to grow up in the tower with slade as his “father” and he always has this sense that something isn’t quite right, but he can’t put his finger on it. like he has all these weird torture-like scars that he can’t remember getting, but slade tells him that it was from when he was young and before slade rescued him, and that’s why the world is so scary and dangerous and he has to stay in the tower where slade can protect him. and ofc he does bc slade loves him and wouldn’t lie to him right? and he doesn’t know why the name richard doesn’t fit him quite right, or why his heart races when slade appears unexpectedly (that’s how love works right?). but he stays in the tower like he’s supposed to until wally and roy show up.

and slowly after traveling with them he begins to get weird flashes of both painful and good memories, and strange sensations of deja vue. while meanwhile bruce is still all brooding and mourning bc it was his fight that led dick to run away. and added angst is that jason and tim actually remember and miss dick, even though tim had just started to get to know him. and damian is angsty bc he’s the only one never to have met dick (handwavy on the ages just like dc lol). meanwhile the kingdom still remembers and mourns the charismatic adorable prince that they lost.

and then when slade eventually catches up to and captures wally and roy, dick offers to give himself up and promises never to escape if slade spares them. and it’s extra sad bc he finally remembers what he’d be giving up. he remembers bruce and alfred and his brothers, and he remembers all the trauma slade put him through, and he’s willing to go through it all again to save wally and roy (bc is it really dick grayson if he isn’t super self sacrificing lol). and ofc it eventually ends happily and dick is delighted to go back to his family with his new friends and see his old brothers and meet his new brother all with a new haircut.

but yeah overall your au wormed its way into my brain and i couldn’t stop thinking about it lol, it’s so good!!!!

And OMG, this is amazing! Beautifully written, yes, absolutely love all the details, especially Slade's and Dick's relationship in all this. I've actually thought about him being taken later on so Tim and Jason would also remember Dick. But I think I started overthinking everything and made it way too complicated (I think I wrote about 20 pages of notes and stuff, I kinda got lost in them. I was/am pretty obsessed with this AU), so I just reeled back a bit and stayed close to the plot. It also simplifies things; I don’t have to rewrite the whole story, which, with my overthinking skills, would take forever. 💀

And that part with Slade making Dick forget who he was is great. I kept the whole AU pretty open with some stuff for imagination. My running idea at the moment is that he got sick when he was 8, so Bruce found the flower, and later Slade kidnapped him, making him forget everything and thinking Slade is his father.

But yeah, OMG, this is awesome. I totally love it. I tried to make it as detailed as possible story-wise, but at the same time, I really needed to limit myself to finish fast because I was scared I would lose interest or don’t have the patience haha But Now I’m kinda even more excited about how people will react to the next chapters. 👀

▹ track one: i once believed love would be

requests are open! these fics will be at least 500 words for each request and will also be set in the canon universe. please see below in regards to the requesting guidelines.

guidelines:

in order for me to complete a request, it needs to have a character and a story/plot line. the characters i am currently taking requests for can be found at the end of this post. 

i currently write only for fem!reader because that is what i have experience in and because i haven’t figured out the mechanics for gn!reader or male!reader.

i do not write smut (suggestive is ok!), gore, or cheating (done by/on reader), loss of child, incest, poly relationships or age regression. i have the right to delete or deny any requests that come through my inbox. 

do not send me a request that you have already sent to another author. it’s icky, it’s iffy, and it ends up with at least one person getting hurt. it’s just a generally not great thing to do and i recommend not doing it at all. i understand that it might take longer than desired for your request to come out, but that doesn’t change the fact that the people who are writing these fics are exactly that: people.

please be patient! i am currently working three jobs and each of them carry their own demands. i will most definitely get to your request, but these things do take time.

their bites will never heal completely; they scar!

each and every time they bite you, they leave a mark that will live on your flesh as an eternal signature. depending on how rough they are when they feed from you, the scars can be telltale pin pricks or rips in your skin.

Jason doesn’t intentionally rip your skin too much.

his bites are typically clean and precise, but he prefers a fresh section of flesh each time he feeds, so many of the scars are his.

his favorite spots to leave his marks on you are your thighs, and littered over your tits. the more intimate the section he bites, the sweeter the blood tastes, or at least, that’s what he’s told you.

you’ve also noticed that he’s careful with how much he pulls from you, drawing a thin stream directly into his mouth, he’s not too keen on making a mess of you unless he’s on the brink of starvation.

after he’s done, when you’re lying in bed beside him in silence, you may reach between your thighs to touch the stinging microwounds.

they’ve long since stopped bleeding, yet are still tender, so you have to be careful not to wince or Jason will know what you’re doing, and he’ll want to reach down to feel them, too.

“You know what these are, don’t you?” he’ll ask, encircling each prick in your silken flesh.

“Your… bite marks?”

“Not just.” with a shake of his head, he places an icy palm over the wounds and you shudder. “These little holes in your skin mark you as mine. My secret contract with you.” his lips still stink of your blood when they caress a corner of your mouth. “And I don’t want anyone else to see them but you and me.”

you whine; you knew that was impossible. “Dick—“

“Shh,” he hisses, dragging his lips over yours. “Dick doesn’t own you the way I do. He knows that. And so do you.”

Dick is rough. and he does it on purpose.

you’ve begged him to be easier on you, promising to be a good girl, but he only chortles, and grabs your fragile face in a strong vice, leaning close.

“You’re so precious, bloodwhore.” he mocks you, allowing the sharp point of his fangs to nick the soft flesh of your trembling tiers, “but I like you the best when you’re whimpering, with pathetic tears staining those cute cheeks, that way I know I hurt you so good you won’t forget who you belong to.”

he prefers tearing through your skin to leave vulgar scars.

sinking in his teeth, he jerks his head to widen the holes until you’re whining for mercy.

he’ll always go for your neck, your arms, or legs. he likes to rip into old wounds and open them up again.

and, heavens, is he a messy eater!

because he loves to make a mess, he has to feed from you longer than Jason does, and take more blood to make up for that he wastes on you.

you’re painted red by the end of the session, panting and dizzy.

he never bothers to clean you up, and usually leaves you alone to do it yourself.

he loves to parade you around, freshly wounded, like his prized game. dressed up like a pretty, little doll— those hideous scars on full display for the rest of the vampires to see, and be envious of.

❤️ You can use just one prompt per day or a combination.

💜 You can create for just one day, or two or three. (And of course, multiple works per day are allowed.) Late works are always welcome!

❤️ You may interpret the prompts as broadly or creatively as possible! Additionally, you may create for any AU, and any gender/race/orientation Jason and Steph. (We do encourage you to consider the why’s of switching a female character to male when there are so few fleshed-out canon females, but it’s not prohibited.)

💜 Almost all types of fanworks are allowed - fanfic, fanart, incorrect quotes, mood boards, play lists, edits, memes.

❤️ This is an event to create brand new fanworks that celebrate Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown as a couple - whether platonic, romantic, or NSFW. All works must be JaySteph-centric and related to one of the day’s prompts.

💜 This is a ship-friendly, censorship-free event open to all. We will have a very clear tagging system in place for all ships (including side ships) and dark content so that people can filter out what they don’t want to see from the main blog. We truly want the event to be accessible for everyone regardless of their personal tastes or triggers.

❤️ Due to JaySteph’s rarepair status, we don’t allow poly-JaySteph ships in order to keep the event’s focus exclusively on Jason and Steph’s relationship with each other. However, you are welcome to use poly relationships in side ships. DC Make It Poly Week is a great July event where you can feature all your JayStephPoly ships while spreading the JaySteph agenda love.

❤️ Work for JaySteph Weekend must be brand new, however you can combine it with any other fandom events if possible. For example, you can choose an August Year of the OTP prompt AND a JSW prompt to use in the same work, or combine a fandom Bingo fill with a JSW prompt. You can’t drop JSW work early, however, so hang onto it until our own event dates!
