Day 20-last | 5 Weeks of Productivity

With the exam on the last day of school I had some busy 2 weeks! I studied in my dorm room, did some exercises at my boyfriend’s with his help and revised all the material at home.  The exam did not go as well as I had hope but I’ll hopefully do better at course number 2 in November! For now it’s time to get into work life and figure it all out there.

summer: days are longer and the rays of sunlight are scaring away the darkest shadows. you don't feel the need to hide anymore, there is no need to quiet your mind. the nights are warm and welcoming and you feel like you can be an open book, express yourself, be joyful and live a youthful life. action is the keyword here, do more and be present.

autumn: the changing colours remind you of how your body, mind and life is constantly developing, going through changes to get a step closer to the finish line. it is a representation of the preservation of life, giving you a chance to reconnect with yourself. the days slowly getting colder and the falling leaves not only reminds you of your beautiful surroundings, but also the beauty of letting go.

winter: the biting cold weather represents clarity and purity. the still surroundings gives you a chance to quiet your mind, contemplate and focus on your inner self, it is welcoming you to reflect on yourself. you are given an opportunity to rely on yourself to feel the warmth, instead of heavily relying on your closest to do so. it is a time for independence.

spring: the rebirth of life. the still surroundings slowly start to show signs of life and new ideas emerge from nowhere. it is time to let the new reflections and realisations of yourself bloom. the leaves grow green and a sense of calmness takes over your mind, a new mentality has arisen.

I’m still working, but so far I’ve read two chapters in Return of the King and finished three sections of my Organic Chemistry reading, which means I’m currently doing the reading for October 10th and 12th now! I hope this helps me come next fall since I’m taking 7 classes (rip me)
