scuderiaferrari meet ferrari's newest race engineers. bianca stark-potts (24) (left) will become charles leclerc's new race engineer, replacing xavier marcos. while harley keener (20) (right) will become carlos sainz' new race engineer, replacing riccardo adami. these two will also be taking on the roles of lead engineers for our cars and they know they can deliver a championship winning car. these two are excited to be taking on the world of formula one.

↳ username bianca is an MIT and columbia graduate, she has a phd in mechanical engineering and a masters in electrical engineering. harley is a columbia graduate with a masters in mechanical engineering and studying at MIT for a masters in computer science and engineering. if anything they're overqualified for the job. they've also developed few of the suits tony stark's uses. definitely more qualified than ricciardo and xavier.

I have seen a lot of Irondad and spider son aus which are great cures my depression, reduces my acne all that jazz but listen,

Peter parker! Tony stark science clone, like maybe somebody (cough sheldra/ oscorp cough) gets wind of Howard stark having a special place to store his brand new super soldier serum ("you will always be my greatest creation tony") and like somehow they like get tony's blood/semen to make a perfect soldier, test tube babies made and experimented on (bonus if results in horrifying diseases, body defects, cross animal genes showing up etc etc) and then a stark dna is brought and baby is made and it kind of results in okay baby? Like a human looking baby, no genetic deforms or serious genetic defects AND has a very active brain activity for something not even 6 months old but u know the baby is kind of weak and under weight and has tons of allergies maybe diagnosed with long term asthma and other normal defects found in normal babies but not in the experimenter so scientists are getting so excited that they are so close to getting perfection that next one is on but somehow they get bursted? Idk what happens but in the end two of the main scientists end up with that baby who like in the end up decide to raise the baby to see what may actually happen to this baby and also like to kind of avoid suspensions so two birds in one stone or more like two problems in one baby raising

The baby is named Surprise Surprise you got it right Peter and to avoid suspensions Mary marries Richard and like move in near his brothers house where they often take peter to baby sit along with his wife may cuz they are often busy with work and all that jazz so peter never really knows his parents or his condition at all

In the end after their death all he knows they were never there for him and ben and may were always his parents anyway

Fast forward to peter getting a spider bite and ben dying and becoming spiderman but tragedy tragedy may dying within a few months so during cps evaluation he finds tones of file about himself and getting an identity crisis cus he is a genetically modified a goddamn tony stark clone who going by the files should not be in any way alive but he is. Peter is both horrified fascinated and disgusted with himself and having a quater-life crises at this and kind of like spirals?

(I mean not really but mild horrified fascination that he is a clone!! of Tony Fucking Stark!!!! And he has genetic mutations!!! Enhanced abilities!!! Cuz ill be real if he is a bit on the animal side he may not really get human morals and shit, I want him a bit more on animal side here like he is sunshine daisies but not really understanding of concept of human moral compass cuz his brain was experimented on early and his iq is size of fucking mount everest and he is bored in high school)

Fast forward six months of foster care with ned and post civil war era where Tony doesn't recruit him cuz spiderman started late and is not really on his radar where SI is giving out free scholarships partnering with MIT, Harvard and other big college names that i have not researched enough to name rn and peter applying to it.

Cue ppl being horrified of this pint sized kid blowing all the tests and exams out of the wind and being like this is so freaking easy wtf is this what college teaches nowadays I don't even want to go to college if this is what it is. Scientists are screaming, professors are crying And some of the ug students are throwing up cuz like that was one of the toughest tests I have ever studied for and written in but this chilli sized horrible puns shirt kid comes and does this what even is his life now!???

Now this small packet is blowing college courses like one blows the wind and obviously this gets Tony's attention and somehow he gets roped in mentoring this kid but he is fucking hot mess who has 101 health problems and don't even ask bout his mental or emotional health okay but somehow he agrees okay

Now Peter is in foster care and doesn't want ppl to know he is spiderman (here spiderman is kind of criminal, he steals, he threatens and blackmails ppl but he also saves ppl in broad daylight, helps tourists find directions, helps grandmas cross rides, climbs trees just to save kittens stuck up there like a weird mix of vigilant, assassin and hero who is never known to kill but always subdues cuz he learned that human lives are precious that needs to be preserved after taking away his only source of maral compass and care and love after discovering his science experiment of existence ) so he graduates high school at 14 and gets bachlers from MIT, Harvard, Cambridge in STEM subjects with the young minds programme at the age the age of 15 and is on fast track of getting atleast 5 phDs by the time is of age to vote.

Tony is fascinated and worried for this kid who has managed to become his personal intern but his heart melts everytime he sees hero-worship in the kid's eyes for him, The hot mess™ Tony goddam Stark cuz it doesn't matter if he is a Tony Stark clone, he has always looked up to him from the time he remembers and Iron Man had saved him in Stark Expo okay don't judge him he is still 79.45% human and technically Tony Steak shout be his father anyway

Somewhere along bi weekly lab days and constant checking on this kid who is a star wars fanatic, makes absurd snack monstrosity to eat, is a total lego nerd and being a weird teenage mess this orphan of a kid makes his way along his non existent heart and discovers his genius of an intern is a stupid teenage dressed in onsie that fights crime on daily basis while making bad jokes and help everyday ppl but spiderman maybe loved by Queens but spiderman is kind of criminal so Ironman publically takes Spiderman under his wing.

After all this shit imagine Tony discovering his wayward son's origin story and imagine Tony being emotional mess but Peter is like its okay I'm alive I'm fine but tony is like no its not. It's a rollercoaster mess of emotions, discovering what it means to be a human, forming relationships, real life communication and identity crisis where in the end its kind of ambitious with morgan being born and all that Irondad and Spiderman fluff and jazz

1. Which of your fics would you keep the basic plot of but rewrite completely?

Ooh. Idk if I can name one? Your Hand in Mine comes to mind but I think mostly because the original idea of that fic (Peter and MJ falling in love during the Blip) wasn’t what it ended up becoming (an infinity war/endgame rewrite). I’m really proud of that fic, idk if I would change it or if it would even make much sense to try and write a specific facet of that idea which was still /in/ that fic but. I think about that original idea still four years later lmao.

2. Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?

There are so many Tony Stark POVs of situations and tropes that I would LOVE to read but would never be able to write, namely because I just don’t feel like I have a handle on him like I’d want to. Writing Tony is fun, writing Tony’s inner world is HARD. Especially because the things I’d want— MIT era, the five years of the Blip with Morgan and Pepper, Tony’s POV of HOCO just to name a select few— wouldn’t be things that I could reasonably trust the average irondad to write lmao. I don’t want to read about fanon Tony and even if there are fics that are about these things more likely just.. not related to canon/infusing an irondad fanon lens that defeats the point.

5. What's a tag you never want to use for your works even when it applies?

Honestly idk, I’d rather overly tag than not. I like wanting people about what they’re getting into.

This is a fill for today’s @februaryficletchallenge Day 8: “This is the last time I bail you out!” as well as my @tonystarkbingo S5 - James “Rhodey” Rhodes and @avengersbingo A1 - Vulnerability squares.

“Tensegrity is a structural principle based on a system of isolated components under compression inside a network of continuous tension, and arranged in such a way that the compressed members do not touch each other.”

“This is the last time I bail you out!” Jim hissed through gritted teeth. He’d dragged Tony out of countless parties just before things got bad, acted as scapegoat when Howard called his son out on the carpet and even helped with frantic last-minute assignments (Tony HATED writing essays), but this time it was just too much.

Tony had been minutes away from being caught in a compromising position with a clearly willing young man and Jim had never been so angry at his best friend. Not for the reason everyone would have suspected - that Tony had turned out to be gay. In fact, it was something like the opposite. Jim hated the fact that Tony’s half-naked partner hadn’t been him.

The realization had hit Jim like a punch in the gut. He cared about Tony, sure - they’d been best friends for years. But Jim wasn’t gay; he’d never felt any kind of attraction toward any other man. But that apparently didn’t apply anymore when it came to Tony.

“Aw, c’mon, Rhodeybear!” Tony slurred as Jim picked up his discarded shirt with one hand and tugged at Tony’s arm with the other, steering him out of the back door of the frat house. “I’m sorry. I really am.”

Jim could tell that Tony was either drunk or high, or possibly both, which was yet another reason Jim had swooped in and broken up the party; he couldn’t be sure Tony had given consent and wouldn’t regret his actions in the morning. “It’s just, well, he was so damn hot!” Tony continued, his words still blurry, “Besides, he reminded me a little of you.”

“What?” Jim froze in his tracks on the sidewalk; this in turn made Tony stumble forward, as Jim was still holding his arm.

“Oh shit -- did I say that out loud?” Tony’s eyes went wide and he clapped his free hand to his month.

“We’ll talk about this in the morning,” Jim replied, his mind reeling at the possibility that Tony might actually want him as more than just a best friend.

The next morning -- well, nearly afternoon -- Tony grunted a monosyllable greeting in Jim’s direction as he made a beeline for the coffeemaker. Jim had left it half-full and prepped it for the next pot while he was waiting for Tony to regain consciousness. He’d also put Tony’s favorite mug out, and filled it with several generous spoons of sugar.

It took most of that mug before Tony spoke a coherent sentence. “How badly did I fuck up last night?”

Jim shrugged. “Almost getting caught making out with another guy in a frat house full of macho assholes isn’t one of the smarter things you’ve ever done.”

“And I’ve got you to thank for hustling my ass out of there, don’t I?” Tony shook his head. “I swear, I don’t know why you put up with me.”

“You’re my friend, Tony.” And I love you, Jim ached to add, but didn’t dare. Not even after what might have been Tony’s drunken confession the night before. Jim was still too shaken by his own self-revelation to be able to figure out what to do next.

Tony gave him a long, searching look, his deep brown eyes rimmed in red. “And I’m thankful for that, really I am.” But there was something in Tony’s voice that didn’t sound thankful at all; rather it was almost forlorn. “I don’t deserve you.”

Jim didn’t think so either; Tony was going to change the world and needed someone socially acceptable by his side who could make sure that happened. “You know what we both deserve? Cinnamon rolls from the bakery down the street. Put some shoes on, Tones. I’m buying.”

Imagine AOU-era SteveTony being on the verge of a relationship but not quite there yet, and somehow the Multiverse breaks and Endgame-era Tony and MIT-era Tony both end up with them. Our Tony thinks that MIT!Tony is going to threaten his blooming relationship with Steve because let's be honest, he was gorgeous. But what he couldn't guess is that Endgame!Tony is the one who's making Steve blush and stutter. Turns out Steve is into the whole silver fox thing. Jealousy and misunderstandings ensue.

Steve’s sigh is so tired Tony is actually offended.

“I didn’t do this,” he says, before Steve can say anything. “I didn’t even play with any HYDRA tech and accidentally do this.”

“Pretty sure I did this,” one of him says, easily.

He’s an older version of himself--a decade or so, if Tony had to guess, wearing a sleek version of the suit that makes Tony’s fingers itch. He waves. “Sorry to crash the tower. Blame Reed, if you want. It’s his fault, even if he’s not here.”

“Where is here?” the other version of him demands, a bratty expectant note to his voice that makes a smile twitch at Tony’s lips.

He’d forgotten how much of a little shit he’d been when he was younger. Because this--he recognizes this version of himself. The dark circles under his eyes, the bitten red lips, and messy curly hair, the tight pants and oversized ROTC t shirt, the way he sulks a little when he isn’t immediately answered.

Messy little twink, he thinks, fondly.

“How long has Rhodey been gone?” he asks and the kid bristles, even as his eyes go glassy wet.

“Tony,” Steve groans.

Tony watches the other two versions of himself--the boy he was, and the man he’ll be--swivel, needles pointing north, to face Tony, and his stomach sinks, when Anthony smiles, sultry and intent, and says, “Hello.”

He has no right to be jealous. Steve isn’t his, even if there’s something between them, delicate and new, something he guards and carefully cultivates, something he never imagined, when he opened the Tower to the team, not after the helicarrier.

He didn’t expect any of it though, not the quiet comfort of Natasha’s presence in the middle of the night, or Thor racing him, when he flew, so he never flew alone. He didn’t expect cartoon marathon’s with Clint and tripping over Bruce in his workshop, didn’t expect to care about them, and he sure as hell didn’t expect them to care about him.

They did.

Clint and Nat were viciously protective, shielding Tony and the rest of the team from SHIELD, from bad dates, from his own self-destructive behavior.

Bruce and Thor were quieter about it--their protective tendencies tended to be seen on the field, never mind that Tony could hold his own against either of them.

Steve--Steve never met a fight he didn’t like, and seemed intent on fighting the whole world if they dared say something negative about Tony.

It was strange and charming.

Steve was strange and charming, and Tony wanted to keep him.

He isn’t sure why he’s so surprised, when Anthony and Stark seem just as intent to do the same.

Anthony propositions Steve four times before they get him settled in the guest wing with Stark, who promises Reed--whoever the hell Reed is--will snap them both back home in twelve to forty-eight hours.

“Were you that…friendly?” Steve asks, grinning at him, and it makes his stomach twist, because Steve looks amused, but he doesn’t look like he’s going to take Anthony up on the multiple offers he’s made to suck him off, so there’s that.

“Pretty sure that they’re both me,” he says, and rubs his eyes. “Stark said it’s not a multiversal portal--it’s time displacement.”

“Um. Did he. Did--” Steve bites off his words and Tony glances at him, his gaze narrow. There’s a flush in Steve’s cheeks, and he’s shifting, hands clenching. “Did he say why?”

“No,” Tony says, slowly. “If I know myself, he won’t. He won’t want to change anything.”

“You’re wrong,” a familiar voice says and Steve jerks, a full body shudder, his head snapping up to find Stark as he steps into the room. “That’s why I’m here.”

Tony watches Steve watching Stark, and his stomach twists.

He’s never seen Steve look at him like that, eyes blown wide and dark with hunger, color high in his cheeks, mouth parted and shining.

“What do you want to change?” Steve asks, and Stark twitches a little, looks at him.

He’s shed the armor, is standing in socks and old jeans, a cozy looking sweater. There’s silver in his hair, and lines around his eyes and mouth, time’s indelible mark.

He looks softer, all the sharp edges filed away, but it’s more than that, Tony thinks.

He looks happy.

The thought is dizzying. He’s happy, now, happier than he ever has been, but it’s still sharp edged, the constant fear of what’s coming, and losing the team, and misstepping--screwing everything up--that keeps him from relaxing into it.

“Do you know this--this is when we’re the best? It goes wrong, and then--we never get back to this, not until we’ve paid too high a price,” he says and he rakes some of his hair back. He smiles, and it’s a pained grimace. “I guess--I wanted to spare us that.”

“You know that’s not how it works,” Tony says.

Stark grins. “Kid, I’ve got a lot more experience with time travel and the multiverse than you. Trust me.”

“Why?” Steve says, abruptly, and he sounds--

Hopeful and wary, almost pleading.

Stark’s face goes soft, his eyes gentle in a way that Tony’s never seen.

He recognizes it though. That’s how he looks at Steve.

“Because we deserve more than what we get, Cap.”

Steve looks away, his gaze snagging on Tony, and something flickers on his face, for a moment, before he storms out of the workshop.

“Dammit,” Stark says, and for a heartbeat, Tony feels, strangely, like he doesn’t belong, like he’s an interloper here.

“I forgot how he was, now,” Stark says, and he huffs.

“You know Anthony is going to try to seduce him,” Tony says, turning away from his counterpart and pouring coffee into two mugs.

“I know Cap won’t go for it,” Stark says, his voice knowing and sure and Tony slides him a look.

“The kid isn’t the Tony Stark he wants,” Stark says, gently and Tony flushes hot, hope beating wild in his chest. “Besides. If he were going to try out another you--it wouldn’t be the twink. Steve has a thing for us when we’re older,” Stark adds.

It makes him choke on his coffee, and Stark smirks at him.

“The first time Steve saw silver in my hair,” Stark muses, “We hadn’t spoken for three years. He came by to meet--” Stark cuts himself off and shakes his head. Smiles a little. “He never left, after that.”

“Why didn’t you talk?” Tony asks, his heart pounding. He wants to catch Steve’s hand, wants to squeeze it and hold him close, never let him slip away.

“We fucked up,” Stark says, bluntly. “He did and I did. We lost a decade, Tony. And we lose Peter.”

His voice cracks on that, all that happiness shattering to reveal a grief so deep it leaves Tony breathless.

“Tell me what happens,” he says, softly and Stark takes a deep breath.

“So tomorrow, you’ll try to undo it?” Tony says. “That’s why you came back now. Because you don’t think you’ll be able to later.”

“I hope we can,” Stark says. “But I don't know. There’s no guarantees, with what we’re doing.”

Tony’s quiet, turning it over and over in his head. “Why though. Why try to change things?”

“Because you love him. We’ve always loved him. And you’re scared, but--he loves you too. That’s the amazing thing you haven’t let yourself believe, but it’s true. And if you’re brave--you can have him, and you’ll be stronger for it, the world will be better.”

“He doesn’t.”

“The night Steve kissed me for the first time, he proposed,” Stark says calmly. “The night we got married, he told me he fell in love with me after New York. You know it’s there--you just have to trust it and let it grow. You have to trust him.”

Stark’s gaze flickers, past him, to where Steve is standing. “Trust each other.”

He stands, and Tony watches him walk out of the workshop. Watches him pause next to Steve and kiss him, a brush against Steve’s cheeks that makes Steve blush, before he keeps walking.

“Why did you bring Anthony here?” Tony asks, thinking of his younger self, confused and far from home and lonely.

He loves Anthony, a deep protective well of affection and fondness, the same thing he can feel from Stark.

“A we survived present,” Stark says, and grins, bright and dirty, before he vanishes into the elevator.

Steve and Tony stare at the reflective doors for a long moment, and then, slightly strangled, “Is he--”

“Think so,” Tony says faintly.

There’s a contemplative silence, and then, almost but not quite neutral. “JARVIS records in the guest rooms, doesn’t he?”

Tony flicks a look at Steve. He’s flushing, a pretty shade of pink crawling down his cheeks and jaw and throat.

“Captain,” Tony crows, delighted, and Steve reaches for him.

“Do you think he fixed it?” Tony asks, later, when he’s sore and tired and happy, and JARVIS has informed them the other versions of himself have vanished. “Where we went wrong?”

Steve’s arm tightens around him, his lips moving against his temple, where Stark was silver, and he wonders if he should stop visiting his colorist.

“I don’t want to lose you,” he whispers, too soon, too soon, panic clawing at his throat.

“You won��t,” Steve says, firmly, a promise, to him and Stark and his future self, too. “We won’t make their mistakes.”

“No?”

Steve grins, and tugs him close and presses a kiss, sweet and lazy, to his mouth, sucks on his tongue when Tony whines into it.

“No, sweetheart,” Steve murmurs. “We’re going to be better than them.”

Tony curls into his embrace and thinks that’s all Stark wanted for him.
