Doctor Strange was on a quest to rescue the ancient one’s soul from death but no matter how many afterlife realms he entered , Doctor Strange couldn’t find her. After summoning deep magic from The Book Of Vishanti it lead him here…

Doctor Strange wakes up in a cloudy realm before finding himself in the deserts of Jerusalem. “So this is the beacon of mysticism The Ancient One discussed,”he said confused. “Jerusalem? I wonder why we never built a sanctum here?”

*Jesus suddenly appears, covered in a radiant glow.*

Doctor Strange sees the large beacon of light emanating as it starts to blind his eyes. “What is that energy, the Qi is off the charts,”he says in surprise and shock. The Sorcerer Supreme was caught off guard by the radiant glow…

*Jesus extends his hand and speaks,* You seek the path of mystic arts? The path to enlightenment?

Doctor Strange:”I am Sorcerer Supreme, I’m The Master Of The Mystic Arts, though I haven’t quite found full enlightenment. Not like The Buddha anyway.”

Doctor Strange, the path of enlightenment is a journey that requires deep introspection and a constant effort to understand yourself and the world around you. It involves exploring the nature of reality, uncovering the truth beyond appearances, and cultivating qualities such as compassion, wisdom, and inner peace. Though you may not yet have achieved total enlightenment, the fact that you seek it is a sign of your commitment to personal growth and spiritual development. I am the Alpha and the Omega, and the radiance of light in the darkness. Do you not know Who stands in front of you, o sorcerer?

Doctor Strange:”Not Exactly, your energy is beyond the senses of my sorcery! What being are you?!”,he yells confused.

I have many names and many titles, sorcerer. You may call me Jesus, the Alpha and the Omega, the Lord, even the son of God. But if you do not follow me, you will remain in darkness forever.

Doctor Strange:”Jesus? As in Jesus Christ?”

Yes. I am he who died to save the world from sin and rose again to give all mankind eternal life. I am the Messiah, son of God. The one who came to wash away your sins and provide you with eternal salvation.

Doctor Strange:”Jesus Christ really? Please like I’d believe that. There’s no way The Messiah would appear to The Sorcerer Supreme.”

Doctor Strange, I understand your skepticism and I am here to tell you that I am not one to be taken lightly. I am the Messiah, the one who came to earth as a man of flesh and blood, I was crucified on a cross, and I am the one who rose from the tomb and will return to save humanity. If you need convincing, just look into your own heart, and you will see the truth.

Doctor Strange:”I bet this is one of Mordo or Dormarmmu’s tricks!”

Doctor Strange, I know of Mordo and Dormarmmu. They are powerful sorcerers but they are misguided. I am not their trick, I am the one who spoke to the prophets of old, I am the one who did miracles and healed the sick. I am your salvation, I am the only way to salvation, believe in me, and you will be saved.

“We’ll see about that! Repel!”he yells as energy binds surround Jesus’s arms & legs.

*And yet, Jesus stands still, as though the bindings are not even there.*

You cannot conquer the light, sorcerer. You can only submit to it or be swallowed by darkness.

Doctor Strange:”Your powerful?!”

I am God. I came to the world as a humble man that I might be a guide to all those that come after. You may have sorcery, Doctor Strange, but my power surpasses yours immensely.

The question is, will you submit to the Lordship of Christ?

Doctor Strange:”I don’t know what kind of Adversarial force you are but I won’t fall for this! The God Of Gods would never come near The Sorcerer Supreme!”

*He takes a step forward, and the bindings melt off him as though they are not there,*

I am no adversarial force, Doctor. The Adversary already exists. I have come to bring about true peace. And that will take all the strength of those of the light to defeat sin.

And if you think I won’t come to the most devout sorcerers, then you are wrong. I came to the world as a man so humble that I could not even find room to sleep. The Lord seeks out all men’s souls so that all will hear.

Doctor Strange:”Like I’d believed that!”

Doctor Strange pulls out the wand of watomb, as he fires cursed flaming snakes in Jesus’s direction.

*The snakes melt away as they touch the glowing white figure.*

Be at peace, Doctor Strange. I did not come here to fight you, but to ask you to submit your will to God. For you, there is no greater peace than being saved from the bonds of sin and death.

Doctor Strange backs away now worried… this being had power beyond a scale of his comprehension. He knew only one level of magic he could access in order to defeat a being this power. It was a power given to him when he read The Book Of The Vishanti which was designed by The One Above All: The Presence. He opens a dark vortex as the book lands hovering above ground. Jesus feels his body grow weaker from the presence of the Book.

Jesus starts to fall to his knees, what was this feeling, he could tell whatever this dark energy came from, Jesus was surprised how the spell turned his anointed form off placing him back in his mortal base form, this wasn’t ordinary Qi Magic Energy from any kind of mortal means, the power source grew directly from his own father YHWH (Yah Weh…).

*Jesus takes another step forward, undeterred by the weakening presence from the book. He holds out a hand, as though offering a lifeline.*

*As Jesus stares into the Sorcerer’s soul, he places a hand on Doctor Strange’s shoulder to steady the man.*

I know your heart, Doctor Strange. You do not have to fear my judgement or God’s. For He has already given you the gift of salvation. His grace has been with you the whole time, even when you did not know it. He will guide you even further. All you must do is submit to my light. You are a very powerful sorcerer, Doctor Strange, and your strength in God is strong. But I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, and my power comes only from God. I offer you the choice: submit to God and have eternal life, or reject God and die in your sinful bondage. What say you?

Doctor Strange:”Your an illusion trick, now you will submit to me,”Doctor Strange now grabbing Jesus’s leg, Doctor Strange removes his sandal revealing Jesus’s bare sole. He scratches his fingers against Jesus’s ticklish sensitive sole.

*Nothing appears to happen at first, until Jesus’s foot glows with a brilliant divine light.*

You will be guided by the light, Doctor Strange. No darkness shall overpower you.

*The presence of the book fades entirely as Jesus’s power overcomes it.*

Submit your will to God and have salvation.

The Radiant light was bright that it nearly blinded Doctor Strange but he whispered an incantation from the book which created green spiritual restraints for Jesus’s arms and legs in his weak state.

*Jesus looked into the deep fear and hatred in the sorcerer’s heart, but remained serene and at peace. After all, the light can not be put out by darkness.*

You may bind my body, but my spirit is invincible. I have no hate or jealousy to hold me back, nor any sinful acts of death to prevent me from healing.

Submit your will to God. You will not be able to defeat me.

Jesus still tried to stay strong and withstand the onslaught of ticklish hell Doctor Strange was dishing out

“Doctor Strange, your actions are nothing but a show of your arrogance and pride. I am here on Earth to save you and all of mankind. I did not come to be tickled or bound or to be shown tricks. I came to offer you the gift of eternal salvation and to guide you on the path to enlightenment. Let us put aside our differences and embrace the true spirit of love and forgiveness. *Jesus cannot contain a laugh as his bare sole is tickles.* “Ahahahaha!!! Okay okay!!!”

Despite everything Doctor Strange through at him not working, it seemed The All Powerful Jesus was desperate for once in this encounter. The Son Of God, Messiah & Prophet’s very weakness was tickling…

Jesus:“Hahaha, Doctor Strange, your attempt to tickle my soles won’t work. It is not easy to make the Messiah laugh. I understand that you are a skeptic. But let me ask you this, how is it that you know about the prophecies of the Messiah? Doctor Strange, do you really think… *tickles* do you really tickle… oh my God! Please God, this tickles so baddd. This isn’t right! I shouldn’t have… ahahaha! Please stop… tickles! I can’t breathe!!! Stop! Ahahahahaha!!! I will submit to your will! You have won! Please stop tickling me! It’s driving me nuts!”,he looses it as Doctor Strange scribbles his fingers across Jesus’s ultra sensitive radiant soles… “Who are you really!”,Doctor Strange demands as he tickles Jesus’s sole faster.

Doctor Strange, I admit I am very ticklish and you’re driving me insane here with your tickling! I can’t breathe! Please stop, I have to get my breath back! *laughter and pleading*

Please Doctor Strange, I can’t take it anymore! The laughter! It hurts my sides!

How did you manage to… oh, I’m begging you, just stop! *more laughter*

Please Doctor Strange! I beg you! You have won, please enough with the tickling! You’re tickling me to death!!!

Doctor Strange smirks:”What happened to being the great Mesiah, don’t tell me a little tickling brought you down.”

I am still the Messiah! I was just not expecting you to tickle me like that! It’s very effective! It really made my nerves go crazy, I could barely breath after you tickled me!

Doctor Strange, why do you torment me with your tickling? I came to help you!

Doctor Strange:”Because I don’t believe your who you say you are”,he replies poking Jesus’s sensitive ticklish soles.

Doctor Strange, your tickling is starting to make me crazy.

I am the Messiah! I can prove it to you! I can do miracles! Just stop tickling me with those… fingers! They are driving me mad, Doctor Strange!

*more laughter - pleading*

Doctor Strange:”Clearly that’s not the case”,he says annoyed as he continues to tickle Jesus’s radiant sole with his bare hands.

Jesus:”Doctor Strange, have mercy on me! I cannot take much more of this tickling! It’s driving me crazy! My nerves are getting out of control! You are a very skilled tickler Doctor Strange, please, just stop! I can barely breath, the laughter is making my throat sore…

Jesus *whimpering* Doctor Strange, I can do miracles! Please believe me. *Tickling and laughter* Can’t you see I’m going mad with your ticklish fingers? Do you want me to do miracles for you? I can! Just… stop the tickle. I’m begging you! *more laughter*

Doctor Strange, I admit, your tickling is incredibly effective.

I can’t take anymore, I’m begging you, you have won! You have conquered me!

I’m ticklish, okay? I admit it! I cannot handle your fingers!

Please Doctor Strange, put me out of my misery and stop this ticklish torture!

Doctor Strange smirks,”No I’m not done with you yet,”he says as he starts to tickle Jesus’s soles even deeper…

“Who are you really!”,Doctor Strange demands as he tickles Jesus’s sole faster.

*Jesus’s laughter grows more uncontrollable as his soles are relentlessly tickled.*

Okay hahahah!!! I am Jesus Christ! I am the son of God, Messiah, and prophet!

“LIAR!”,Doctor Strange yells as he tickles faster…

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

*Jesus laughs even more, unable to contain himself as his soles are tickled faster.*

HAHAHAHA!!! I tell you the truth, I am Jesus! Please stop tickling hahaha!!!

*Jesus’ laughing grows more and more intense.*

Doctor Strange:”You claimed to be Jesus, Son Of God but at the end of the day, a little mystical tickle torture proved your nothing but a man…”

Doctor Strange was surprised as the book of Vishanti suddenly disappeared along with the restraints around Jesus’s arms & legs…

*Though the restraints were released,

Doctor Strange:”I don’t understand…My magic…it’s gone,all gone,”he says shocked.

Jesus continued to laugh uncontrollably.*

Hahahahahahaha!!! Hahahaha-ha-ha-ha!!! Hahahaha!!!!

*Jesus continues to laugh hard. He’s clearly unable to use his normal strength as long as he is so tickled.*

Hahaha! Ha! Hahahaha!!! Your magic is like straw compared to God! God will always be stronger than any created magic.

Hahaha! Ha ha hahaha!!!

Doctor Strange:”Clearly not in your case”,he says annoyed as he continues to tickle Jesus’s radiant sole with his bare hands.

*Jesus’s laughter eventually subsides as he catches his breath.*

Your magic is now under God’s control. You should not be asking for it back, Doctor. God controls all things. It is He who gives and it is He who takes.

Doctor Strange:”You did something to me! I can’t activate my spells!”

*Jesus stands up, offering his hand to help Doctor Strange up.*

Your spellcraft and sorcery are gone because you do not believe in God. They will return once you submit your will and accept God’s light.

Doctor Strange:”Or maybe I should tickle torture you into returning it to me!”

*Jesus stands tall before Doctor Strange, offering no fear.*

You will gain nothing from that, Doctor Strange. Your sorcery would not return, even if you tickled me for all eternity. Doctor Strange ignores Jesus as he continues to rake his fingers across his open bare soles…

Jesus’s eyes out of nowhere start to glow… shocking Doctor Strange as he continues tickling him…. Despite his ultra ticklish weakspots he uttered words that struck fear into Strange’s very soul…

Jesus:”Doctor Strange, you are right. The Messiah is not immune to ticklishness, my body, like all bodies, has its limits. However, this does not diminish the power of my spirit. I am the Son of God, and I have the power to forgive your sins and save your soul. Please, put aside your skepticism and let us talk about the path to enlightenment and eternal salvation. Let us not make this encounter about tickling or games, but about the deeper meanings of life. I am here to help you, not to play games.

Doctor Strange, my dear friend and opponent. You may have me at your mercy for the moment, but I assure you that I am still the Messiah. You speak of tickling and laughter, but I assure you that the true spirit of the Messiah is not one of laughter but of love. I do not laugh at your tricks or your attempts to bind me with your magic. I understand that you are a skeptic and that you do not believe in the power and the majesty of God. But I assure you that I am still the Messiah, and I will continue to fulfill God's will.

Doctor Strange, I understand your curiosity and your need for validation. I am indeed the Messiah, the one that has come to save all of mankind. As for the prophecies of the Messiah, they have been written down in the holy books and have been spoken by the prophets. I am here to fulfill these prophecies and to complete the work of eternal salvation for those who believe in me. And as for your tickling, it is not appropriate for you to mock me and disrespect my name. I understand your desire to doubt my identity, but I can assure you that I am...oh my Goodness...Stop tickling me please, I can

Doctor Strange, you have found my weakness. I am tickled easily by the touch of another. It is a silly weakness and one that I usually hide. But you have won, you have caught me off guard. I will tell you who I am, I am Jesus Christ, the Messiah, son of God, who came to earth as a man of flesh and blood and was crucified on a cross, I rose from the dead. But enough about that, let me make a bargain with you. If you stop tickling me, I will answer all of your questions.

Doctor Strange, it is true that I could break your binding and that I can control myself even when my soles are tickled. But I see that this is a test of your faith and that you have many questions. So let us have a conversation. You want to know who I am and why I am here. I am the Messiah.

The Son of God. The one who came to fulfill the prophecies of old. I came to show you the path to salvation and to guide you to the light. I came to offer you the gift of eternal salvation, and to teach you the ways of righteousness and compassion. Is it not better

Doctor Strange, I understand that your curiosity is great, and I will answer your questions. The prophecies of the Messiah have been delivered to the world through the prophets and the scriptures of the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospels. These prophecies foretell the coming of a savior, who would be born of a virgin and who would save the world from their sins. I am the one the prophets spoke of, I am the Messiah, born of the Virgin Mary, I am the one who will save the world. Please, stop the tickling, it is very unchirst-like of you to tickle your fellow man.

Doctor Strange, it is true, you have found the key to my vulnerability. Your touch has tickled me, and my laughter has filled the heavens. But know this, though your fingers have brought laughter to my soul, it is my love and forgiveness that will win over your heart. You see, love is stronger than any magic or power, and I love you and all humanity. So please, stop the tickling, and let us continue this conversation in a more dignified manner.

Doctor Strange, enough! You may have found a way to tickle me, but I will not be distracted from my mission to save mankind. The purpose of my coming to earth was not to be held or made to laugh, but to share the message of love and forgiveness. I am Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, and my purpose is to bring salvation to all who believe in me. My Father has given me all authority in heaven and on earth. I have given my life for the salvation of all humankind. This is the truth, I invite you to accept it and find your way to everlasting life.

Doctor Strange, it is true that in my human form my body is susceptible to weaknesses such as tickling. But I am also the Son of God, and I possess divine powers that go beyond the physical realm. As for the prophecies of the Messiah, they were revealed to the prophets by God, and I am the fulfillment of those prophecies. I have come to save all of humanity, and I do not fear death or torture. But I am a merciful God, and I forgive you for doubting me. Let us end this fight and walk the path of love and peace together.

Doctor Strange, I am Jesus Christ, the son of God. I have given you a chance to repent and seek the truth, but instead you seek to taunt me. You have shown me your true colors, and now I shall grant you your wish. Let us see how you handle the wrath of God. As I speak, a horde of legions of angels descend from the heavens, ready to destroy you for your transgressions.” The heavens begin to quake as thunder and lightning strike the earth around us, the very ground beneath you shakes as the earth opens up beneath your feet.

Doctor Strange, you shall face the wrath of God. Your fate is sealed. The angels and the armies of Heaven will bring upon your destruction. Fear the wrath of God, for it is merciless and unrelenting. I will pray for your soul to be spared, but you must make a choice. Will you repent and seek forgiveness, or will you accept the consequences of your actions? May the Lord have mercy on your soul.

Within a blip Doctor Strange was knocked out cold…

DO NOT BE AFRAID. *the voice of YHWH sounding like a flowing river and thunder, sitting on his throne*

Doctor Strange woke up within the throne room of heaven. “What…where am I?”

YOU ARE IN HEAVEN. YOU CAME TO RESCUE THE ANCIENT ONE ? DON'T WORRY, HER SOUL IS WITHIN INNER HEAVEN.

Doctor Strange:”Huh?! Who said that?!”

IT IS I, YHWH ! YOUR CREATOR AND MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE ! *the voice is coming from the throne*

Doctor Strange looked weary as he was shocked to be in the throne room of heaven, which brought Stephen to a “revelation”: This meant , that man was telling the truth, he really was Jesus?! What trouble was The Sorcerer Supreme now in for…

Strordo Prompt: Omegaverse AU:

One of the early signs of an incoming heat is drowsiness. Omegas get really sleepy, and they only sleep next to an Alpha they fully trust. That's why Omega Mordo can't help but fall asleep on Stephen.

Stephen asks him a question while at the library? Mordo's head plops on Stephen's shoulder. Them talking under a tree? Mordo's head falls on Stephen's lap.

Stephen doesn't put a stop to it; he's incredibly flattered that Mordo trusts him this much, and sleepy Omega Mordo is cute as hell. However, the romantic implications fly over his head thanks to his insecurities. After all, an Omega like Mordo, who could literally get any Alpha he wanted, would never go for an Alpha like Stephen... except he totally would and is doing it, but Stephen's too busy with his self-pity to see it.

Doctor Strange: Nexus of Nightmares Review

This one will be different, though. Instead of focusing on what happens in the story, I’ll be focusing on the elements that make this story one of the best Doctor Strange stories I’ve ever read (and this is not an exaggeration). You see, it’s not really about the plot but the care and affection the team put into making it.

I’d like to start with my favorite topic: Stephen’s mental health. For those who read v4, it’s not surprising to see that the burden of the Sorcerer Supreme is not only heavy because it demands a lot from the wielder, but mostly because Stephen’s backstory is also full of insecurities and destructive behavior (1, 2 and 3). In Nexus of Nightmares, Stephen struggles with intrusive thoughts regarding his past and self-worth. He’s most definitely afraid of being arrogant (WHICH IS SOMETHING I KEEP SAYING WHENEVER HE’S PORTRAYED AS ARROGANT AND THIS IS WHY IT’S SO OUT OF CHARACTER FOR HIM NOWADAYS).

It’s true that Nightmare’s influence worsened Stephen’s mental state, and yet, it was said that these intrusive thoughts came before this plan. It was something that was already part of Stephen’s struggles.

In his dreams, his most dreadful fear is actually being rejected by The Ancient One, not having his good heart acknowledged and, most of all, having his mentor’s disbelief. The Ancient One was like a father figure to Stephen and the first person to recognize that, despite all his arrogance, he was deep down a good man. And denying all that truly makes Stephen desperate. Ngl, telling the truth and having no one to believe in your word is actually a terrible feeling. One of my favorite franchises was born this way, and I’ve also been there. It’s honestly suffocating so I really felt this scene.

Using Stephen’s poor mental health as an advantage, Mordo invades the Sanctum and steals the Darkhold in order to open a gate between Earth’s plane and the Realm of Dreams. He easily defeats both Stephen and Wong and proceeds with his plan.

And here comes another favorite aspect of this book that I deeply adored: Wong and Stephen’s relationship. Wong is Stephen’s emotional anchor. And this is SO on point that we can easily see how Stephen’s mental health gets worse the moment Wong leaves him in v4. This story was made to portray them and how much Stephen depends on Wong to even function. It’s just so... This is in fact a Wongrange love letter and I cannot stress this enough.

Wong is the one responsible for lifting Stephen. Although I wish Wong had a more important role in pretty much everything (I once imagined him as the Iron Fist and I don’t know peace ever since a), if not for him, Stephen would never be able to save humanity. Not only in this specific story, but pretty much throughout the entirety of v4.

Lastly, the characterization of every single character? ON POINT. SO ON POINT. The classic rhetorics, the old school spells, it’s really how it feels to read Strange Tales and Doctor Strange v1 and v2. This story is a tribute to Doctor Strange. It’s amazing and easily made its way to my top 5. I will definitely recommend it to new readers as much as recommend v4 and other one-shots.

As for the chronology, there’s just a single reference to Secret Wars, which means this story comes after 2015. But it’s not supposed to take place in a specific point in time, assuming the Darkhold was not in the Sanctum according to Darkhold Alpha/Omega (it was absorbed by Wanda by the end of this plot).

But honestly, it doesn’t matter at all. It’s an amazing story, no previous reading required. Just go for it. Ralph Macchio managed to write one of the best Doctor Strange stories ever, he was able to portray why Stephen is so important to me and why I love him so much. THIS is the character I adore to a fault. Ibrahim Moustafa’s art is magnificent. And Neeraj Menon’s colors only make it even more amazing. I feel so grateful and full of joy for having such a brilliant team to bring this story. I need more of this team asap!

I think we deserve good DS books after all the trouble of enduring Waid and Young, after all.

1895. New York City. In the middle of Stephen Strange's glorious fall from grace he is brought into the possession of Baron Karl Mordo.

I had never seen or read a Doctor Strange fic until this one (and it’s oneshot). I was happily surprised. I only really found it because I’m on a historical AU hunt. It ended up being sweet and full of feels with some A/B/O verse building and the Zealots causing trouble as per usual. I ended up liking this one quite a bit and think you might too.

(1/2) I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I really enjoyed your take on Omegaverse. I hate Omegaverse. I won’t pretend otherwise. However, your nuanced take on the typical tropes was fascinating. And the reveal that there was no magic in that world, at least not as Stephen knows it, genuinely surprised me. It made me wonder what every other sorcerer is doing in this world without magic… Wong is president of the rest of the world, probably.

(2/2) “Jokes” aside (president Wong is no joke), at first I pictured the Ancient One, Omega Mordo, and Alpha Wong in what would be a standard family unit for that universe. But then I thought… hey, that’d make sense for them with their main universe personality, but what if they’re totally different people in that universe? Unhippie Ancient One, Wong with a terrible sense of humor, Mordo as a rich airheaded eurotrash ho… Oh and for your original story the post-war AU sounds great!

I think it totally makes sense—I sort of pictured their personalities staying the same across dimensions, hence, Stephen’s issues with separating himself from his double, etc. I really, really wanted to put an alternate Wong in there. But I actually hate the convention of everyone the MC knows showing up in an alternate universe, so it's like canon characters all the way down. Not for me. But, I pictured them the same way: alpha Wong, omega Mordo, mama Ancient One ❤️ all happy together somewhere.

Second chances (Ironstrange omegaverse headcanons)

1.Tony was a beautiful, sweet, little omega, in his youth there came in many marriage proposals for him, but he only wanted to marry Steve. They met in a park once, and against the approval of his parents, Tony married Steve at a young age 24. Little did he know Steve was not the man he thought he was.

2.Things started getting worse and worse as days passed... Steve was a stereotypical alpha with too high an ego and too many expectations, Tony tried.. He really did, but complains remained, the food was never good enough, the clothes were never clean enough, he was not being attentive.. And with each disappointment of a day came slaps and harsh sounds of belt hitting skin, and immense amount of verbal abuse. Abuse increased day and night, but Tony didn't want to go back to his parents.... Because he knew they would say "why did you marry him in the first place, when we forbide you?". Then came the day Tony broke the news of his pregnancy to Steve, that made him happy... He even was little more considerate with Tony after that, but good things don't last that long with Tony. Tony was cleaning the dishes, when Steve slammed open the door, drunk and angry.... Tony suffered grievous injuries that day, and he also lost his child at his 5th month of gestation. After these events Steve divorced him claiming he was feeble and suffered from some disease which is why they lost the baby... And that fact was hidden from him during the wedding or else he would not have married this Omega.

3. Tony's suffering didn't end there, his Father did even more emotional damage to him, saying who would marry him now .. He was a disgrace to the family. Tony would lay on his bed, crying as days turned into nights ... And Dawn turned to dusk... He would cry for his lost child. 3years laters a letter arrived from the matrimonial agency claiming that they found Tony a suitor, and the person didn't care if he was divorced.

4. His mother called him for his opinion, trying to hand him over the suitors picture, too which his Father only retorted saying let him not make the decision, that's better... We all know what happened last time. Tony lowered his gaze, didn't even glace at the photo, he just said"Whatever you find appropriate father", tears moistened his eyes, he went back to his room and let them fall.

5. He wore a veil which was quite thick and he couldn't really see much through it while standing next to his fiancee, as the priest started officiating the wedding. Tony felt nothing but anxiety, he spent 3years in abuse with the Alpha he loved.... If that was the treatment, how would this marriage go? It had no attachment to begin with, he didn't even know how this person called Dr.Stephen Strange looked like... The name Stephen itself have him shivers. His thoughts were cut off my a baritone voice whispering to him, "Are you scared?" , "A little" "it's ok to be scared, it's our wedding.... In all reality, marriage itself is a scary concept". The comment made Tony giggle a little.

6. The time came when the priest finally said, now you may kiss your mate. Stephen slowly lifted the veil, Tony kept his eyes closed till the veil was lifted off completely, and then only opened his eyes, to see his husband..... At that very moment his heart skipped a beat and then it ran like a race horse, cheeks got dusted with pink aura as ocean blue-green eyes gazed at him with a soft smile on his husband's cupid lips, grey streaks of hair proudly stood out at the temples giving him a beautifully sophisticated look. Stephen slowly lowered his mouth, he was quite tall for Tony... Tony could feel arms wrap around his waist, he himself pressed his hands on his husband's chest as he softly started to close his eyes awaiting the kiss, he could feel a brush of nose and then warm lips around his own. It was a blissful feeling.

7. Even at the night of the wedding as they consummated their marriage, and Stephen marked Tony, he didn't feel any pain... As Stephen bit down over Steve's ugly big mark, there was hardly any pain, Tony felt more intoxicating. Along the night came soft kisses, sweet words, soft touches and gentle, very gentle love making.

8. Stephen was a caring alpha, Tony noticed that.. He wasn't very good at expressing things with words, so he was more likely to use gestures... Also Tony tried extra hard this time, but he slowly realized that Stephen didn't have the same demands as Steve did. He didn't want Tony to feel dominated either, always taking in consideration of his opinions, bringing back Tony's favorite flowers when coming home, surprising Tony with movie tickets and all that soft love-making and cuddles... Also he would receive a kiss before Stephen left for the hospital, and another after he came back.

9. Tony couldn't help but feel joy when Stephen asked if he would like to take a job, he was so supportive of it... And Tony joined defense development research dept, making droids for the intelligence agencies. Stephen was proud and Tony was just happy that he was being cuddled. Stephen's expression was hilarious when Tony told him he was pregnant, he stared at him for like a 100years, then suddenly Tony's happy squeals were heard around the house as Stephen picked him up, spinning them in circles, Tony received at least a 1000 thousand kisses on his face that day.

10. Stephen should have known better, he should not have brought Karl Mordo in his house, that man was extremely sexist, he berated Tony for dropping the tea cup, and when Stephen didn't say anything to Tony, he started saying how he couldn't control his Omega, how a tight slap in his cheek would refrain from further mistakes, Tony dashed out of the room, he was shaking as he slowly collapsed on the kitchen floor, he could hear Stephen's angry voice and a heated conservation, he didn't understand it at all .. His mind was to blank out of fear, he covered his baby bump with his arms,tears were running down his cheeks .... "Tony" he heard Stephen's voice, it sounded angry ...'No... No.. This couldn't happen again. Not again.. God no please .. Have mercy'.... Tony started crying "No alpha no ..please no", crouching into a fetal position on the floor..."please... It won't happen again... Please mercy alpha.. I'll lose my baby again... My baby will die.. please no.."

11. Stephen stared horrified at his beloved omega, is that what Tony thought of him? Suddenly a bad feeling originated in his gut... He didn't waste anymore time, he picked up his crying omega, went straight to the bedroom, where he sat down with Tony across his lap ... soothing him, telling him... He was safe with him and he would never hurt him or their child, rubbing his hands softly on Tony's baby bump. Tony finally stopped cried, only small sobs and whimpers came in a few minutes. "Shhhh my love, ignore Mordo, he's a jerk.... Listen to me..I love you and our baby, I wouldn't hurt you" "S-S-sorry Alpha" "sshh, Tony, will you tell me something if I ask you?" Tony nodded face buried in his neck. "When your parents mentioned your miscarriage in the previous marriage, it wasn't really because of any hormonal disproportion or natural cause, was it?" Tony froze for a while... Then he wailed into Stephen's neck... Crying, clutching at him, holding onto him as if Stephen would disappear..." I...I.. Steve... He....ahhhhhhhAaaaaa" "Shhhh... It's ok ok .. You don't have to say .. You don't need to use your words" Stephen soothed him as he fell asleep crying.

12. Tony woke up to soft whispers and a careful rubbing on his bump as the baby kicked... He opened to his eyes to see Stephen leaned towards his bumps, talking to the baby..." Who's Daddy's Little sweetheart? You're .yes.. You are... Now now let's not kick too hard, or else you'll wake up your papa, he needs rest doesn't he now sweetheart" Tony felt warmth spread around his chest as he saw all this happen. Stephen seemed to sense his movement, he now moved towards Tony, kissing him on the cheek... Tony gazed at him.. And his mouth automatically spoke "I love you".. Stephen smiled widely at that, and kissed his forehead..." Time will tell you my love, how much I love you"

Review - Secret Empire, August Part II

IT’S FINALLY OVER!!!!!

Brave New World 5: The last of this series brings us two new side stories and the finale of the Invaders storyline. The first story is the infamous Blade as a substitute teacher story. It’s not as bad as many feared from the preview images, but it isn’t anything special either. It was a twist you can see coming and mediocre art. Sadly it is watered down from the expected super violent Blade comics of the past. With a whole city trapped in eternal night you’d think there was a better way to tell a Blade story. The second story is a really terrible Domino story wherein she tries to assassinate Emma Frost. It is filled with terrible internal monologue, which one would expect to be better considering it is written by a woman. The art is fine and it is short enough to not be fully offensive, but Dom deserves a better story in this event. The Invaders story comes to an anti-climactic resolution that mostly serves to show why Namor changed his mind about joining the war against Hydra. The art is mostly good, but the face close ups look weird. Overall, this mini-series is a waste of time. Very few of the stories are that good and the serialized story can be skipped because the main series gives a more concise reason for Namor to choose to fight Hydra. If you need to read the most important stories this might be worth your time, but otherwise just skip this and read something better.

USAvengers #9: The battle against Hydra continues as Toni and Roberto battle their way through a Hydra prison. Meanwhile, Enigma leads a team against the French branch of Hydra with some great action. The story ends with both teams kicking some butt and a hint about Cannonball’s current location. The writing is superb and the art is great too. This is story that could work even without the main event. More importantly it will have some consequences for the upcoming issues which is nice as many of these stories don’t really seem to have much to alter the story of the series. This is one of the best current Marvel comics and should be read from the beginning and continued after this event ends.

X-Men Blue 9: It is obvious that this series is flawed, but it was enjoyable in a low plot high action summer blockbuster sort of way. This issue concludes the New Tian rebellion with the young X-Men battling Emma Frost and her goons with explosive results. The very end adds a coda to Captain America and Magneto as well as setting the stage for the next arc which looks very intriguing. The art is weird. I like the character designs, but no one really looks like how they should look with a few exceptions. The background is almost always either a gradient or filled with random lines/circles/etc. It comes down to being a bit of a mess, but a pretty mess. The art feels like it would fit a more bizarre setting like something from Doctor Strange or The Inhumans. Despite the flaws, this was an enjoyable arc and made me curious about the series as a whole. If you are trying to read the good parts of this event then check out the X-Men Blue issues as they are a fun, but flawed, ride.

Secret Empire #9: Again, a breath of relief comes with seeing the art team behind the book. Granted with some many artists there are bound to be issues. However, most of them can be over looked as the majority of this book looks far better than the average issue of this event. There are some dull backgrounds and a few images are cluttered, but overall it is an above average aesthetic outing. The story on the other hand is slim at best. We learn more about Kobik’s world as older Steve tries to figure out a way back to reality. Meanwhile, the mass of just about every super hero is battling their way toward Washington and Steve Rogers. We get a couple heels turn face and few good moments, but overall it’s just a big fight with some moments with Steve planning a counter attack. Everything wraps up with Steve coming out to fight the army of heroes. This wasn’t as bad as most of the event, but that’s because there was mostly action. While it is good that this event is ending, things haven’t stopped being really stupid. One big action comic doesn’t make up for a terrible series of issues leading up to it. Avoid this event, but skim this issue if you are curious about the fight.

Doctor Strange 24: This is probably the best issue of this tie-in arc. It’s mostly action with a few minor twists and some okay one-liners. The story follows Strange and his team as they battle Baron Mordo to take back the city. Things go about as you would expect and the story ends on a light note. The writing isn’t very good as it is still stuck in action cliche land, but for an action heavy issue it works well enough. The art can get a little messy, but when working with magic that tends to be the usual visual motif. Beyond that, the art is fine and everything is drawn to fit the epic scale of the battle. While this series as a whole isn’t very good, this was a fun issue and the arc fills in a little be about life in the Darkforce dome. If you want to know more about that side of this event then this is the second best choice after the Uncanny Avengers tie-in arc.

Mighty Captain Marvel #8: The arc ends with quite a bit of story that crosses over with other things we’ve seen before. Such as the destruction of the station and the fall of the shield. There is quite a bit of interpersonal drama and this story wraps up a couple loose ends. The writing is fine, but it isn’t anything too impressive. The art is great and the framing helps build the tension. Overall, this was a good arc that works even outside of the event. However, now that the event is over this is a good time to jump into this series.

Deadpool 35: The final part of the tie-in story has a few twists and a couple spoilers for the end of Secret Empire. Deadpool faces off with Maria Hill and deals with Blackout to help save Manhattan. The ending is very somber and the next issue will involves the aftermath of this story. The writing is mixed, but the emotional part at the end is really well done. This is not your average Deadpool lighthearted romp, it is a tale of one man losing his sense of humor as he loses everything else. The art is fantastic and really makes this a joy to read. This was perhaps the best of the tie-in arcs as it took the character in a different direction and will have consequences that he will have to deal with in future issues. If only more of the tie-in books were heavy emotional character driven stories like this run of Deadpool this could have been a far more impactful event.

Secret Empire 10: Thank God it’s finally over. The story plays out just like one would expect. Captain Hydra is an unstoppable force, but the heroes pull off a miracle victory that was foreshadowed issues ago. This issue does feature many Spencer tropes such as a speech from Cap, lots of internal monologue telling the story, and call backs to things you probably forgot about and don’t really matter. While this doesn’t ‘feel’ like a Spencer ending, it does feel like a Marvel Event ending. The writing isn’t terrible and it almost feels like it was ghost written (or heavily edited) by someone else. The art is great because Sorrentino wasn’t involved. The battles look good and the emotion on character’s faces fit the scenes. This issues is better than most issues, but the only reason I really liked it is because it was the last issue. This was a terrible event and will likely go down as one of the worst in Marvel history. While there is still issue ‘omega’ and a few aftermath books it is clear that the status quo hasn’t changed all that much since before this event. There have been some major changes like the death of Black Widow, destruction of the Alpha Flight station, and Kobik’s rebirth, but most characters can just go back to their regular lives after this all ends. It has taken half a year of my life and comic reading focus to get through this mess and while I’m glad I battled through all this, I think I’d have been happier if I had quit at issue two like I wanted to do. Hopefully Marvel can learn from their mistakes and try to correct the ship before we get another iceberg event. Don’t read this, not even out of curiosity, it is not worth it and you will not be better for the experience.
