💛 Turn of the Century Evening Gowns - Golden Edition 💛

As I've been writing my Hogwarts Legacy fanfic, Pinterest has provided a great deal of inspiration for my original character's cottage, aesthetic, clothing, etc. I must admit I do not know much about fashion history, but I have found some truly gorgeous, interesting, and ornate pieces and wanted to share some of Kate Mayflower's beautiful gowns. Please note that my original character is in her mid-20s in 1899 and is not the game's teenaged MC. This is the first in a series of posts.

they cup your face with both hands and stare into your eyes. just as you were opening your mouth to ask what's up, they press their lips on yours. when they pull back, after seeing your surprised face, they think you were annoyed at them kissing you without your consent.

''please forget this ever happened. i'm sorry.'' they pout.

they analyse your face intently, with a gaze that feels like they're staring into your soul instead of your eyes. confused and not knowing what to say,

🪷 Kate Mayflower's Intimates: Nightgowns and Lingerie 🪷

As I've been writing my Hogwarts Legacy fanfic, Pinterest has provided a great deal of inspiration for my original character's cottage, aesthetic, clothing, etc. I must admit I do not know much about fashion history, but I have found some interesting attire and wanted to share some of Kate Mayflower's intimates - nightgowns and corsets. This was the most difficult post to compile. Please note that my original character is in her mid-20s in 1899 and is not the game's teenaged MC. This is the seventh in a series of posts (it may be the last?).

What are your thoughts? Which ones are your favorites? Mine are the first two in the collage. Do you think Sebastian Sallow (love of Kate's life) would like any one of these in particular? I'd love to hear from you! To be honest, I typically think in more modern terms when I write a scene featuring lingerie, but it was interesting to learn what would have been at least close to period appropriate. Here are some examples of where my imagination goes when I think about Kate picking out lingerie to wear for Seb:
