The New Mutants are captured by Irae the new foe, and their mentor - Magneto who had been brainwashed by the former (Irae). The New Mutants presume that Magneto had turned evil again and then, they are pitted to fight against Irae's Sisterhood of Evil Mutants who looked more like cyborgs than mutants. As the New Mutants got their upper hand on the mutant cyborgs, Irae uses her mind-controlling power of hate to force the New Mutants to fight each other. Meanwhile, Magneto is fighting himself on the inside when he tries to remember his past self, his lost family and his good self. The Good-Magneto Self tries to convince him to wake up from his brainwashing by making him remember his lost family. Magneto is about to wake up when Irae tries to brainwash him again by entering into his mind. Magneto eventually wakes up from the brainwashing and turns against Irae and then, he stops his students from fighting each other. Magneto fights Irae until he defeats her by putting her down with his amplified powers. Magneto feels bad for seemingly killing her. Warlock reassures Magneto that he did what he had to do for the sake of his students' survival. Wolfsbane suggests that they could try to take Irae back to the mansion to help her recover and for reconciliation. However, before anyone could do that, Magma tells them that Irae's body is gone. Dani Moonstar assumes that the cyborg mutants must have taken Irae's body with them.

This story takes place in the 80s and it's written by J.M. DeMatteis, not Chris Claremont.

like it does bother him but he also reminds himself that this is your job, you've done this with other people before James was with you too

probably the easiest to hid his jealousy

he'll just watch intently while you act out your scene with your co-star

that doesn't mean he likes it, but he's definitley more grounded in his emotions

Erick:

The sassiest out of the men

doesn’t say anything but is the type of guy to teach you in private who you really love

Fights the urge to just shove the life out of whoever you’re acting with

Calms himself and probably leaves for a coffee break mid scene

but trust you will have a very long night after every scene with your co-star

Sam:

The most upset out of all the brother

acts like it doesn’t bother him it does

gets really insecure over it, but he knows it’s your job

gets in a pissy mood so now you both are mad

eventually does apologize for being a little stupid

makes it up by buying you the best premier gift ever <3

is the embodiment of Jealous by Beyonce

Matthew:

also gets really insecure

but it’s so hard to tell

gets really passive with everything and just really distant

you have to fight with him to finally fess up about his feelings

he thinks it’s stupid he’s feeling this way, doesn’t want too feel that way and even feels bad for feeling that way

he tries distracting himself with other things to just kinda try to get over it but it doesn’t really work

Damien:

the worst brother to deal with when it comes to this to be honest

gets in his own head so much he really cannot believe anything you say to reassure him

like he’s convinced you’re gonna leave him and he just breaks down

probably has a full meltdown over it and just gets a ptsd trigger from it

he has abandonment issues
