I had an idea for the office White Elephant—and thanks to fednews—I turned it into a office suite of art. I hope y'all enjoy it as well! The patterns were self-drafted using flosscross.com and crosstitch.com caption maker. The aida and floss were from my stash. I used DMC 906, 702, 699, and 890 for the Excel icon. I've hung them up behind me for all to see when my camera is on.

Throwing parties every week,

there were so much people, loud music and alcohol,

we were having fun,

I thought we were happy

and that your face the days after was just

tiredness.

disappearing

When they told me, I saw you

in a pool of alcohol and cigarettes' butts,

I threw up in the bathroom

as I did every time I drunk to much at one of our parties,

but it was my hand that kept my hair back together

and it was my finger that caught the tears streaming down my cheeks.

You aren't there anymore to laugh at my ugly face like you used to

and I can't have anymore drunk and heartfelt conversations while sitting on the cold tiles of the bathroom,

with so much people out there, loud music, alcohol,

Book of Warrior Queens stitched and designed by HauntedFrames. Pattern, $6.77.

Book of Warrior Queens was stitched on 18 ct aida, using 4 colours of DMC floss. Contains cross stitches and a decent amount of back stitching! Framed in a 5x7 gold frame. The backstitch makes such a difference, especially around the border. It was tough to get through but worth it!

Mermaid flag all finished.

I loved and hated making it. I made one bad stitch, and noticed it 4 rows up, so had to redo that whole section. But I loved seeing something I drew come to life. Next time I will use less fluffy yarn, probably cotton.
