Hey y'all 👋🏻

It's me. I'm sorry I've been quiet for so long. I decided to take a break from the Akayona fandom. Please note that it's not because of anyone in the fandom! Y'all are lovely people.

I actually stepped away for two reasons:

A. My mental health

B. My writing health

Unfortunately, I fell into the trap of writing to write instead of writing because I wanted to write. I lost my inspiration, I lost my motivation, and I lost my love for it. I just stopped and couldn't get myself jump-started to begin again. I loathed the idea of opening my google docs.

So I stepped away, or I guess walked away, pretty ubruptly (I'm so sorry for that). But the good news is I'm doing well. I joined a new fandom and am thriving! I got inspired, and I've started writing for this new fandom. I haven't written this much in months and I'm so happy. I'm writing for fun again and I needed it badly. I've fallen back in love with it.

Will I return to the Akayona fandom? Yes.

When will I return to the Akayona fandom? I'm not sure yet.

I love y'all so much, and thank you for your understanding as I get through this time in my life!!!

There is nothing more precious to me as a writer than the comments left on AO3. Whenever I get that email notification, I wonder what kind of comment was left. To have a little fun, I'm going to sort the typical comments into a few different categories and share my reactions to them as a writer.
