Water rising signs

Pisces rising - One of the most magnetic placement. If you have water placements, you might find yourself drawn to people who have neptunian/pisces in their chart. Pisces rising usually love darker color tones. From personal experience, I've had pisces risings liking dark purple, red and blue very often. They have a very unique and ethereal presence. Their hair is often long or wavy, or have a creative / unusual haircuts/colors. Magnetic beauty, soft vibes and overall, they are very intuitive & may have had intense paranormal experiences and death with nightmares.

Cancer rising - This placement can be rather very emotional at times and if highly affected by the moon phases. They might feel the moons energy well before the actual main theme that others perceive a little later. Very intuitive and sensitive. They have a very angelic aura to them, just like any other water placement. Soft spoken (consider other placements too as they might have an impact). They are very creative individuals, and stability is very important to them. Someone who can bring inner peace to them by providing stability and solid foundation. With the 9h in aquarius / pisces, freedom is very important to them / they could have unique spiritual beliefs.

Scorpio rising - These individuals go through a lot of transformation regarding themselves (if that makes sense?). Having pluto in the 1h comes with some intensity. Magnetic & mysterious aura, but very warm hearted people. They are very understanding of others, but may struggle to open up easily. The are very protective individuals who love very deeply and want stability in their life, just like any other water rising I believe. Many people could've taken advantage of these individuals growing up. They can be quite secretive and reserved, and need to isolate themselves to recharge every now and then. These people are usually very competetive and their competetiveness can be taken to far which will result in competing with everyone. This can make them behave very intense around people who have what they dont have, especially when it comes to personality and appearance.

A lot of them were bullied as children, even by family members and usually for something with their appearance which makes them super self conscious and impacts their self esteem negatively for the rest of their lives.

They are afraid of being viewed as weak and act aggressive to make up for how unsafe they feel, even tho other people view their actions as embarrassing they wont stop because they want to show how ruthless they can be.

They are very good at seeing other peoples true nature since they are very sensitive.

They have a healing presence that makes people want to be close to them. Really good at comforting others.

Women with this aspect are usually extremely fixated on other womens appearance and will often point something out.

Men with this aspect can have extreme issues with masculinity and might start a lot of physical fights.

Some of them are afraid of going anywhere alone and needs to be surrounded by friends if they are going somewhere(mostly in their teenage years)They might even feel nervous going to the store or the gym alone even tho they know everyone else does it.

CHIRON IN THE 2ND HOUSE:

They might have moved to a new country where they didnt fit in because they didnt have money and because of that they couldnt dress like the other kids at school.

These people will have to work really hard to get over the feeling of not being good enough because it feels almost natural for them to see themselves as less

They might experience problems with their skin, teeth, lips and weight.

The 2nd house rules our moral values so these people can have values that are not accepted by others

Since the 2nd house rules our physical body it will make them very insecure about how their body and face looks.

They could feel like they were born in the wrong body and like their body is their prison (Caitlyn Jenner and Timothy Chalamet has this placement)

CHIRON IN THE 3RD HOUSE:

These people can have a really painful relationship to their siblings if they have any. There might be extreme competetiveness between these people and their siblings. A lot of people with this placement experiences horrible betrayal by the siblings which they will never get over.

They have a sibling who they are constantly compared to. Might have grown up with everyone talking about this sibling being more beautiful, talented or educated than them. A sibling they can never live up to.

They might have a diagnose that makes it hard for them to understand others.

They were probably bullied or had a really hard time during their early school years. Their early school years might have been hell.

They might have grown up in a bad neighbourhood or a neighbourhood that was far away from their friends.

These people will experience a lot of problems with communication and might have a hard time communicating their feelings. They might stutter or just get really uncomfortable when talking to others.

This placement can make someone the black sheep of the family,they might have been treated worse than their siblings.

One of the parents were probably very manipulative and might have used them to manipulate the other parent.

Most of them wanted to leave their childhoodhome early.

These people experience issues with femininity and women and probably had a mother who had issues with her own femininity.

In women this can be someones whos a ”tomboy” or the opposite someone who does everything to be extra feminine.

In some cases the mother of this person has traits of Narcissistic personality disorder.

These people can grow up to have a very bad attitude towards women.

Might go trough a really hard custody battle and lose custody of their kids.

These people feel a strong need to express themselves and to be the most creative, they might cut their clothes and sew them in a new way to be creative

They are very sensitive to rejection.

They will experience some kind of problems with children. Either with conceiving or issues with the relationship to their children.

A lot of these people could pass on their own trauma onto their children.

They can become addicted to partying and especially drinking.

CHIRON IN THE 6TH HOUSE:

These people can have a lot of enemies at work and experience so much conflict at a job that they have to quit the job

These people experience issues with routines and can easily fall into a habit of ordering food directly to the door because they cant get out of bed, having a healthy routine feels impossible

Some of them do the opposite and becomes obsessed with having the perfect routines

They can experience issues with food addiction, drug addiction or an eating disorder.

They might have diabetes or some other illness that make them have to take a syringe everyday.

CHIRON IN THE 7TH HOUSE:

These people might never been in a relationship and because of that they feel different because they see everybody else in happy relationships.

Might feel like they dont understand social codes and feel like they are weird or dont know how to behave socially which makes them overperform by being too nice

They might feel like relationships always ends in pain or conflict

There can be an attraction to wounded people with a lot of baggage, people they think they can save.

Most of these people are afraid of being left for someone else so they try to be the perfect man/woman.

CHIRON IN THE 8TH HOUSE:

These people have a wound when it comes to their sense of power. They probably have something that make them feel powerless and this makes them seek power where they can. These people have in common with Chiron is the 1st house people that they like to be a big fish in a small pond.

Most of them experienced a huge loss when young which traumatized them, most likely because someone they loved died

They grew up with someone who always had power over them it could be a stepmom or a sibling who made them feel powerless

There is a wound when it comes to sex they might have been the last one of their friends who lost their virginity or lost it to someone who hurt them.

They are drawn to situations where they can feel that they are the ones in charge

There is something that makes them insecure when it comes to their sexuality. Something that also hinders their sexlife, it can be that they feel unattractive or just a low sexdrive.

CHIRON IN THE 9TH HOUSE:

These people might have been bullied for something that has to do with their ethnicity or religion. They might have been the only one in the whole school with their etnicity or religion. Talking about it might be very painful. Sometimes they feel like their whole identity is linked to their ethnicity.

They have a very complicated relationship with spirituality/god and might see everything that happens as a sign from god.

Talking about their school years might be extremely sensitive to them. Their school years might have been like hell for them. The might have changed a lot of schools or dropped out because it was so horrible. This is the placement of the poor kids who went to a school with only rich kids because their parents only cared about them getting the best education.

These people feel an intense need to always be learning more and more and more. Many of these people are probably into astrology since the learning never ends when it comes to astrology.

They will experience issues with their in-laws because of religious views. Their inlaws might not accept them if they dont convert.

Many of them have never been outside of the country they were born in and dreams of traveling but something is standing in the way.

These people could suffer from agoraphobia or just be really uncomfortable in public.

Might have been humiliated in public when younger which traumatized them.

There might have been tension with the father for as long as they can remember

The father might not have been in the picture or in worst case died when they were young

Feels a need to be someone with high status

They experience people breaking their trust a lot and their darkest secret always gets out.

Most time there is something they are painfully afraid that others will find out, a secret that is extremely hard to keep.

Astrology: Vertex in the Houses

So, Vertex is where you find your karmic patterns and a meeting with destiny. It is the chart’s fifth angle, so to speak, less important than the other angles. It’s the energy that repeats themselves over and over again without much control. It also represents innate qualities that are not being used. It’s a karmic point that needs activation to bring out and harness its power. Three things can activate the vertex: transits, other people (synastry), and places. Vertex is represented with Vx is some charts or something similar to a plus sign.

VERTEX 1ST HOUSE

House of self: Must work on first impressions and self appearances. There’s a perpetuation of fresh starts and can lead a person to never really work on personal long-term goals. Gathering leadership skills and allowing constructive criticisms from loved ones to help you grow into your full potential is key.

VERTEX 2ND HOUSE

House of possessions: Working on general life skills and developing a strong sense of personal needs. Have confidence with your senses like taste, sound, touch, and smell. Anything that develop your senses to the physical world and being consciously aware of your environment helps take control of your karmic patterns.

VERTEX 3RD HOUSE

House of communication: Working on controlling your thoughts through meditation and being consciously aware of what you speak. This is not to say you shouldn’t speak in fear, but to speak from both the mind and the heart. Remembering that even negative words can still come from both the mind and the heart, not just positive words. You learn valuable information through others and being open to any form of education will help take control of your karmic patterns.

VERTEX 4TH HOUSE

House of inner self: It’s the house of “home” so nurturing your personal space from your bedroom to your closet to your bathroom. If you have no control over these things, seek a place that feels like home. I know people who use a library as their safe space. People with this placement often use cafes as their “space”. Usually this placement carries a lot of baggage and nourishment beyond the physical aspect. Certain people will bring out your nurturing side.

VERTEX 5TH HOUSE

House of love and pleasure: Needs to be mindful and practice self-love, may lose themselves in chasing other people’s love. May even neglect themselves chasing love. Be aware and accepting of the love given by those you hold dear. You fall in and out of love trying to look for that special person when that special person is you.

VERTEX 6TH HOUSE

House of daily routines: Highly psychic but is rejected. must develop a strong sense of care for your body, mind, and soul. strong need to be of service to others but needs to learn that you can help if you can’t help yourself first. Going with your intuition and feelings and listening to your inner guidance is key to taking control of your karmic patterns.

Imum Coeli and Midheaven: Inner and Outer World

The Imum Coeli (IC) is the sign at the beginning of your 4th House, the Midheaven (MC) will always be the exact opposite of that sign at the beginning of the 10th House. The IC is the inner self, roots, past, upbringing, private self. The MC is your most outer self, reputation, ambition, career. The IC/MC sit on an axis and always have a relationship to each other. 

Libra IC - Aries MC: We see a struggle for expressing identity or needs when among family, growing up, and within their inner self. The Aries MC finds freedom in the outer world, maybe in the professional world by standing alone and being an individual. The Aries MC can seem aggressive, confident, competitive, or in charge when in the outer world of school, work, organizations, or larger or more shallow social events. But at home, in their closest relationships, in their private life they are used to cooperation, adapting to others, tries hard to keep the peace or harmony, and may be a people pleaser or lack discipline. There can be a complicated relationship with attention and admiration. In their private life they seem to be praised the most for obedience, compromise, and light charm. But they can find empowerment and a rush in being praised or admired for rebellion, conflict, speaking up, and passion. In the outer world they may stir up drama just for the attention or to feel liberated. At their best they embrace their more level-headed, calm inner self as someone valid, precious, and important but when in the outer world finds ways to get in touch with the warrior side of them. The MC learns to stand up for themselves and fight but must tap into the IC to do this without giving into pettiness, immaturity, or malice. 

Scorpio IC - Taurus MC: The Scorpio IC can be very secretive about their inner self. In fact hiding the self and feelings from family due to fear that they may seem too intense or sensitive is associated. They were likely a willful child or willful within their most inner self. This will can be contained by the Taurus MC’s calmness or practicality but ultimately their determination and strength will always be with them. For Taurus MC “determination” is their main keyword. To protect the more vulnerable and hurt side of their IC they can adopt an unmoving, stubborn, logical, and level-headed persona that the outer world can’t shake or pierce. This person is highly security conscious. The Scorpio IC feels safe by hiding their emotions and intensions. The Taurus MC feels safe through physical resources, wealth, and possessions. The Taurus MC might also feel safe by being in control and relying on their own predictableness and steadiness. The depth, mystery, and power within the inner self is not muted by the Taurus MC, but is underestimated and buried. There can be a great balance here between the rationality of the MC and the emotional, intuitive, and fierce IC. However they need to be careful not to let their fear of betrayal or fear of lack of control to get in the way. They contain and shelter a lot of potency from the outside world, sometimes they have a need to let that out! 

Sagittarius IC - Gemini MC: The Sagittarius IC has a need to be free. Maybe that is free from controlling parents, a religion, old traditions, or even from a mindset they are used to from an early age. Through a Gemini MC they’ve developed an outer self that is persuasive and charming - charming enough to help raise them to the top and out of whatever traps them. The Sagittarius IC can also indicate someone who moved around a lot or was exposed to many different ideals and people when young. There is a flexibility and versatile nature to their youth and programming. This carries with them into an MC that is highly curious, adaptable, and finds it hard to be satisfied with just one hobby, career, or subject. The association with passion, a zealous nature, and impulsiveness exists here. This could mean being an impulsive and energetic kid or this could mean growing up in an environment that was highly charged, fiery, and volatile. While there can be inner passion or being familiar with passion, their MC presents a much more cool headed, logical persona. With intellectual pursuits this person can find an escape from raging emotions and impulses. Sagittarius is connected to cons, exaggerations, broken promises, and false beliefs. This may manifest as feeling disillusioned by what one is taught as a child. They may feel tricked by family at some point. Or tricky behavior or a grandiose, over excitable nature has been engraved in them. In the more detached, always changing MC they can either still practice this more reckless behavior or let it all go with an outlook that wants to observe, study, and connect with others, even if those connections can sometimes be more surface level. They have a thirst for knowledge that is natural to both the inner and outer self. The Gemini MC has an open mind that can help fulfill the needs of the Sagittarius IC.

Vertex: What We Can’t Control

Vertex is a point located in the right-hand side of a chart that represents the intersection of the ecliptic and the prime vertical. In astrology, it is considered an auxiliary or extra Descendant. Some astrologers refer to the Vertex as the “third angle” of a chart.  It is associated with wish fulfillment, awakenings or realizations, the idea of destiny or fate, and some use it for moments that are life changing such as meeting your spouse, a death of a loved one, birth of a child, etc. My focus isn’t on predictive astrology and because of this I don’t use Vertex often in my own readings. Vertex can be popular in synastry but I also don’t typically incorporate it into those charts. I analyze it from the perspective of how we approach what we can’t control, realizations, and our view or approach to wishes and “fate”. 

Vertex in Aries: There is a pull or call to be a leader in some fashion. This person may also feel like they are constantly fighting against “fate” or has a focus on making their own destiny. This person can feel like they are always falling into situations where they are forced to lead, fight, or assert. Defining the self may be important to feeling fulfilled. Self-expression and honoring the importance of the individual can help them feel more stable in a chaotic world. 

Vertex in Taurus: Anyone familiar with that scene from Frozen 2 where Olaf goes “we’re calling this controlling what you can when things feel out of control”? That is the first thing I thought of for Vertex in Taurus. The fear and frustration surrounding what they cannot control can be real. In terms of fate many describe this position as being about finding inner security and being more independent. For many Taurus placements there is the reoccurring theme of learning to overcome fear of the unknown, let go of control, to find flexibility, but most importantly to cultivate inner stability. With Vertex this individual may find themselves falling down a rabbit hole of unpredictable fate, but none of that should matter as long as they understand the power they hold in their own actions and decisions. 

Vertex in Gemini: Here we see someone who tries to get a handle on the unknown or their own destiny via learning as much as they can about the world, themselves, the occult, science, etc. Communication is also important to them in easing anxieties or feeding curiosity. They love to theorize or talk hypotheticals. Here we almost see a reflection of their polar opposite Sagittarius - there is a desire to find meaning in the world. Communicating their needs, fears, and wants can be helpful with feeling fulfilled or like they are on the right path. 

Vertex in Cancer: All of the water signs have a powerful relationship with the idea of fate and Vertex. Here we see themes of strong intuition, attachment, or maybe even psychic abilities. There is a close tie to their fate, whether they are making their own destiny, getting hunches about what path to take, or have world swallowing doubt and fears. Their relationship to the unknown, the instability of life, and to ideas of destiny are deep and felt strongly. With Cancer there is a focus on protecting and nurturing the self and others. They need to be careful of focusing too much on taking care of others or taking on their feelings. Reexamining family, making a new family, or dealing with family cycles or trauma may be in the cards for them. Attending to the inner child or wounded self is important in making themselves sane in such a crazy world. 

Vertex in Leo: Individuality, creativity, self-expression, and empowerment are themes surrounding this Vertex. To become the best version of yourself could summarize this placement when talking about destiny. To adapt or cope with a world that is outside of their control they must create their own world or path. To stand out and/or lead the way is what will help them feel most fulfilled in life. Authenticity is a buzzword now-a-days but that trait or way of being is a necessity for Vertex in Leo as they plummet through the universe. Feelings of grandeur, uniqueness, power, or nobility may go through them sometimes. While they need to be careful of not letting this go to their head or tripping them up - these feelings of power are important in shaping their own future and self. 

Vertex in Virgo: Much like Taurus there is a fear of the unknown or not being in control. To find inner stability could be a struggle. The focus for Vertex in Virgo is to find a way to feel purposeful, needed, or useful. This gives them a sense of direction and stability. This Vertex prefers routine, predictability, and structure. They may be overly practical in terms of fate - believing there are no other influences that determine their life other than them. Similar to Vertex in fire they can have a “I make my own destiny” attitude. Vertex in Virgo may have a pull to work on their intuition. The Vertex sits on an axis like all other points in a chart. The opposite sign is the Anti-Vertex which some astrologers believe to be how we shape our fate or what we have to offer in relationships and life. With Virgo Vertex and Pisces as the Anti-Vertex there is an opportunity to hone their intuition. On the subject of helping others or finding meaning - it is listening to their feelings and hunches that might lead them to how they can do this. 

Vertex in Libra: Trying to see their fate in other people or believing other people are their fate is associated. Learning to create their own destiny or standing on their own or standing out can be a lesson surrounding this Vertex. Finding peace by connecting with others and feeling less alone is also associated, especially in terms of dealing with what cannot be controlled or foreseen. Cooperation and adaptability are strengths needed to feel whole. 

Vertex in Scorpio: There is a lot to be said about willpower here. This person likely is a strong believer in making their own destiny. Strong premonitions and hunches can lead them into believing in a higher power or feeling in tune with the spiritual or unknown. Scorpio is pulled to master their turbulent emotions and intensity as well as conquer and understand the mysteries inside themselves. It’s about learning self-control but also when to unleash. To transform and do all of the hard work in the background so that when life throws you curveballs you are ready. They master themselves, master their life, master the universe. 

Vertex in Sagittarius: It is through faith in themselves, the universe, or that everything will turn out okay that this person gets through the unpredictability of life. There can be a desire to find meaning, especially through spirituality, religion, or a unique philosophy. Sagittarius is a sign that chases truth and by chasing it they can make sense of the world. Being in the role of teacher and student helps them feel right in the universe. They must always be searching, learning, and exploring. 

Vertex in Capricorn: In a world they can’t control this person can face a lot of challenges. They can be tempted into acting authoritative or controlling. However respect and self-authority are important for this person to feel more stable, concrete, fulfilled. To lead others with a level-head and patience is the best route for them. Even better is to focus on their own success and lead by example. This placement is prone to a highly realistic and sometimes negative view of the world and possibly the idea of destiny. This placement can bring about big rewards and depth when they listen to their heart and to loved ones and when they focus. 

Vertex in Aquarius: Aquarius is known for not fearing the unknown and embracing the unpredictable. When Vertex is in this sign there are lessons about acceptance, tolerance, cooperation, and communication. It is the craziness of people and the harm people can do that gets them wanting to become a hermit or to leave the narrative. There can be a temptation to hide away from intimacy, passion, and attachment. The Futurama “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore” meme is for them. Being boxed in by the idea of “destiny” might not appeal to them. To feel fulfilled in life is to feel connected and belonging. Embracing all different types of people and relationships can help them feel more sure of the world, of humanity. 

Vertex in Pisces: This person likely is a strong believer in fate and destiny. If you are one who believes in psychic abilities, this could be a strong indicator for some. This person should be careful of getting lost in wild dreams or a big picture that doesn’t include themselves or include others in their lives. Fate may have big plans for them but it is through their loved ones and how they can help others that they feel most fulfilled. They may feel like life is always throwing them into situations where they are forced to help or to empathize. Learning discernment and protection is important. They don’t need to help or heal everyone, in fact it is in their choice who to help that might make them feel the most sure and solid in life.

the highlighted text is the text my grandma got from her and my uncle's landlord. my uncle has been in and out of the hospital since november. he had a heart attack, a quadruple bypass, and now he's in the hospital again because his heart is failing. we don't know whats wrong, and they are considering a heart transplant.
