Finally finished "Release". A gouache and watercolour piece, done on bristol paper. Prints coming soon! 🌿✨ Thank you everyone for all of the support you've given me on this piece. It means a lot to me. It is about the desire to leave society, to escape the entrapment of a system we have no say in. It was born from me of imagining a feeling of pure freedom, a return to nature, openness and imagination.

Update on orders: If you ordered from me during or after my sale please note there is a delay with the orders. Fortunately the sale was a huge success but since it was such a success I had about 500+ orders to get through. I got my boyfriend to help which has sped up the pace but it took about 2 weeks just for us to print and sign everything. That stage is over but we have about 170 orders left to ship. All orders of medium prints have shipped, we are waiting for more mailers to ship the remaining small orders, a bulk of what is left over is large orders + originals. We hope to wrap up all sale orders by the end of the week. For people who placed orders after May 24th at noon and Patreon supporters we will get to you hopefully over the weekend-next week. Thank you everyone for the overwhelming amount of encouragement and support. I was able to slay my taxes and my student loan. After our shifts packaging orders I have been making these originals to make some extra $$ since I kinda jumped the gun in paying off my student loan. But whatevs I'M FREE!!!.

Been working on studies in between my other work. I'm trying to rely less on line work. I want to use shading to define shape more often and I will be practicing values + colour theory + things I suck at drawing to get better. People often think that it is a luxury making art for a living, however, you have to spend hours everyday practicing for years. You need to keep learning techniques, you need to be open to critiques, you need to judge yourself constantly and I won't even get into the physical repercussions of sitting almost everyday. Studies are important and it's obvious to me I've neglected them. I'll be doing a LOT more studies, I'll try to do some everyday.
