I mean this guy is just straight up a Nimblewright, no fog and mirrors here. I hosted a little bit of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist a while back and read through the whole book in prep. These dudes design slap.
Thought I'd draw up a dude to play, just a Warforged Duelist, havent decided if thats gonna be a Rogue or a Fighter quite yet but whatever, we'll get around to it.

THATS MY SON, THATS MY BOY.
Poot Poot was my shepherd druid, had a great time throwing thorns and bears at anyone who got in our way. Beyond the regular druid antics, Pooters was a defense lawyer for all of 15 minutes before the Judge got sick of mimicking interrupted by the odd squawk.
My man was kicking around in our homebrew and I'd love to get back on the Shepherd druid train. I was thinking of running one that brought their wood carvings/whittlings to life as large wooden constructs (regular conjure animals but just flavoured as wood aesthetically).

Tinks my fairy artificer, I've not quite finished them yet so until I decide to actually play em this is the drawing. I think artillerist might be a bit too strong with a character that can fly and also squeeze through 1inch gaps, so I might go for armorer or battlesmith.
Shameless blend of tinkerbell and tinkerer for the name there but I couldnt not draw it.
Probably pull this guy out for a less serious campaign, wild beyond the witchlight looks fun.

That about does it for my previously played characters, now get ready for a whole bunch I'm sure I'll eventually play. Most of these won't be finished drawings until I actually play em but thought I'd still share.
No backstory for this one yet but they are a plasmoid warlock with the pact of the genie. This always sounded like a cool subclass to me and I really like how your spell list changes with the type of genie you choose.
You can't see too well in this one as its not coloured in yet, but I stuck the lamp that they use as their spell casting focus, inside of them since they're made outta slime.

I never got around to finishing my drawing of Adetta, my hexblood death cleric. Myself and a friend made duo characters, Adetta had escaped her "parents" (Hags who had kidnapped her) and got as far away from their swamp as possible, but not without her Grung friend (I forget their name, forgive me) who they were able to speak to freely due to long term exposure to their poison.
Besides annoying the DM with everyones favourite spell Bane, Adetta mostly just RP'd and smacked stuff. Now the Grung had some interesting moments, most notable being diving off of a crows nest, hammer raised high and absolutely RKO'ing a kraken (yes it was a baby but we don't put him down for that).

So far I've had few serious characters, and Burbark is certainly not the exception. My bugbear moon druid spoke in a surfer bro accent that accidentally shifted to Shaggy "Norville" Rodgers mid sentence. Besides horrifying bandits by eating their friends whole as a giant toad, they were mostly easy-going; smoking up a storm, talking to plants and animals, standard stuff. Think my mans retreated into the woods when the party got a little too murdery.

Knosk was my first character in our previous run of Rime of the Frostmaiden (started again because of scheduling conflicts). He was a Dragonborn Brute Fighter who was raised by kobolds (yes he thinks he's just a really big one).
Anyway he died in our second encounter, absolutely RAVAGED by some giant ice breathing wolves. He was brought back to life in service of Asmodeus (unknowingly to be fair to him), only to die to a bear owned by giants not long after.
This all brought about a real interesting character, NOTSK who was a doppelganger the party had met previously in the campaign that took his identity while they wandered off to what it thought was their certain doom. It had to play the role of Knosk who was actually VERY dead. It was interesting playing a monstrosity that has multiattack, 60+ hp, telepathy, and the ability to turn into anyone it has seen (all at level 2).

Nevermind, I lied in the last post. FOUR was my first character in this campaign. My beautiful boy got drowned by a water weird in some spooky cave, everything is out to get you in Icewind Dale.

Thala was my first character in this run of Rime of the Frostmaiden, a Goliath half-giant Fighter. Her lineage made here around 11 feet tall (which looking back, was absolutely monsterous, like a few feet taller than Lady Dimitrescu). Before she managed to meet her giant father or even get close to solving the endless winter, a group of enlarged, invisible Duergar absolutely ruined her day. From 11 feet tall to 11 feet under, RIP.

Willix "Dynamo Destructor Thunderspell" Wyrmhorde VII's life was cut short before I could finish the drawing, bless his poor soul. Actually the matter of his souls fate was up to debate considering the original Willix was replaced by a mind flayers cute psychic brain doggo (he was an intellect devourer piloting a halfling sized flesh mech). Anyway I enjoyed playing a scribe wizard for the short few sessions he lasted, once again Rime of the Frostmaiden is no joke.

Vince was my Damphir beast barbarian, a unqualified plague doctor decorated medial expert who used his knowledge of hematology to help those in need in Icewind Dale, he may have also been known to sink his teeth into just about anyone or anything in his way but I reckon that just shows his dedication to the craft. Anyway he's out in the wilderness somewhere slowly but surely turning into a batman (manbat? Idk).

Might get around to finishing his re-draw soon, who knows.

This is IX, my current character, they're a goblin warlock rocking the pact of the fiend. Last I left him, he was on 3hp so I reckon he's well on his way to the graveyard. The Frostmaiden and her goons are no joke.
