Some things shall always remain a mystery

It works that way,

they say

the universe works in mysterious ways,

If that’s true,

It shall ensue,

that not every story has to be told,

Not every song sung,

Not every secret uncovered,

Not every answer unearthed,

Not every dream achieved,

And not every ego heaved,

All, for a mysterious cause , which in all probability is in favour of humanity, right?

Saving each from their vanity,

Well, I’m glad to have spent another passing moment in contemplation, glad to have retained my sanity.

Laced with desire

Poisoned with torturous guilt

Ignorant of it all,

Unacceptably,

Ambiguously,

Fuelled and,

Driven by diabolic impulses,

Suppression is a rut,

An ethical compulsion,

Bound in the chains of objectivity,

He suffers not just from insanity,

It’s potent emotional instability,

Hormones are the contumacious forces,

Trying to control his actions,

Sadistic and demanding,

His life is chaotic,

Filled with regrets,

Muzzled with distress,

Crippled by anxiety,

Fear of going astray,

Now, he’s lying on the philosophical road of life as a forlorn stray.
