Not really 'art' related but kind of? Anyways, I finished making this shirt!!

It's from this 70s pattern I found with some others (including a pack of clown outfit patterns) at a local fabric store. All handsewn which... was nice but a lot of work ;_; so.. time to relearn how to use a sewing machine for me u_u;;;

#i have this theory with my sister since this shirt and one of the clown patterns were already cut out and used.. #and that they were found together... #that the previous owner used both for a clown costume xD #also the clown pack came with some full body suits and a pair of overalls #the used pattern was the overalls soo yeah xD #kinda wish i was able to see the finished product 🤔 #sewing projects #would take better pics of the whole thing but my home is a mess =_=;;;

Finally did a height comparison chart for one group of my ocs! I definitely needed one for a while =_=;; tho... i can't promise i'll stick to it but they were still fun to figure out

top row from left to right: Corvus (young), Jezebel, Circe, Lu (pre-incident)

bottom row from left to right: Cor and Lu's kid (who i have yet to name;;), Cor (older w/ his younger self next to him), Norn, Lu (post-incident and a year of being able to chill out for once), Emery(???? still deciding if i like that name for them), Ko, Fey(?), Vi, I've always just called them Death but have tried to come up with a shorter/less obvious name u_u;; - more name related ramblings under the cut

listing off the names here has made me realize how extra hard i've made things for myself as a person who already has problems with naming things/characters... two of the ocs w/out or a questioned name are fairly new so it makes sense why they wouldn't have concrete names? Fey and especially Death, things are a bit more complicated, hence that beginning sentiment u_u;; for my god characters i kinda wanted to give them short nick-name-y sounding names that weren't too bound by the human words they embody. I say 'too' since i've used related words in different languages as bases for names in this regard before ('Vi' being taken from 'vida' spanish for 'life') and going by what two-three letter name out of that (w/ maybe some abstraction of that of sorts) that i like the sound of... i just haven't gotten there for some of them yet i guess u_u

i wish they were more like Norn who's the embodiment of fate/luck and is super into human stuff (and ttrpgs) that she took on the name of the norse gods of fate (also she thought it sounded cool xD)..

Death would honestly go by whatever the person talking to them would call them, so 'death' in any language or the name of a death god would work... for a mortal... the problem is what would their fellow gods call them?? @_@

Finally finished a sketch for a watercolor painting I'm going to do! first of this year in probably almost a year of not really doing much painting of this nature;;; here's hoping there's more to come after this one! ;w;

#it's been hard to try and work it in with all the other stuff I do to sell #after a month of no markets to worry about #i was finally able to have some time to do sketches starting with small oc ones and now this big one for a painting ;w; #its a self portrait again but honestly i think i need something to get some of these sad feelings out u_u #not sure what ill be doing after this one... #definitely got to finish my ghost guys set xD #that unstarted gengar has been looming over me for the past year ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ #sketches

a piece i did for a thanzag zine a bit ago when i was more active on twitter. i'm still really happy with how this came out (even tho i accidentally painted zag's right sleeve red like the body of his coat in the physical piece and had to change the color to match the other sleeve after i scanned it in xD;)
