hey just to clear something up: it’s okay to want notes on your fics or your art or gifsets or character analyses or whatever you’ve put your time into and shared. it’s okay to want people to acknowledge your hard work, and if you post it on this site the only way you actually know people are enjoying it is if they interact with it. that doesn’t make you greedy or whatever. you can write/draw/etc something for yourself and also be upset if doesn’t do as well as you thought it would. i see so many people say, “I know I shouldn’t care about notes…” and that’s just not fair to yourself. this is a social media site. you’re not wrong for wanting the social part of it.
My new favorite excuse for not jumping on new trends or bandwagons is 'I'm 30.' No more explanation needed because anyone under 30 just thinks I'm old and everyone over 30 understands implicitly
Something I think people should do this year is slow down. Take a breather when you need one. Stop adhering to hustle culture & just do what you want to do. If you do have a side hustle, you'll be a lot more productive & happy if you go at your own pace.

'The memories hit Fei like a bus. His head throbbed and his knees turned to rubber. His new job. A dark cave. The ominous *drip drip drip* of water nearby. The pins and needles of nearly dead magic. The cloying thickness of stagnant air, heat, and humidity. The bones...'
Not gonna lie, as I rapidly approach 35 (just over a month), I find that, while I am most definitely not more conservative, I am much more selective in what I want to see online. And I am getting tired of how much sex and nudity is shoved in my face online.
I very much support sex work and equal rights and that everyone should be allowed the freedom to be who they want to be. But I also believe not everything needs to have dicks and tits. Innocent and wholesome content is very enjoyable.
I plan on releasing my 2nd book in early 2024, so it is once again time to remind everyone the first book has been out for nearly 3 years. The ebook is available foe 0.99 USD
