In my status quo everything happened the way it did in New earth canon except the things that were better in pre crisis canon or ppst new 52 canon. Hope this helps

What are you thinking of Aquamen? I read it as it came out, and I hardly remember what happened lol. I recall feeling that it had some interesting concepts, but ended up falling flat.

I"m curious where it's going so far. I feel like there are some things that would work better with more build up. Like they really want Jackson to be in an angst, bad place, but they didn't build up to it much in his solo title (Aquaman: The becoming). Bad things happened, sure, but we didn't have a lot of time to feel them as the audience. I think this is part of the pitfalls of a miniseries. It could deeply be improved by having more panel time to being fleshed out.

I also do think that some concepts and ideas would be more interesting if there was less re-set on the Aquacharacters at new 52. Like rebirth ambiguously re-canonized some stuff and made it so that people were no longer just superheroes for 5 years, but we didn't dive into that much in aquaman rebirth, though we did get one panel implying Garth had regular aqualad adventures.

but like... imagine how juicy the drama would be and the angst potential if we unambiguously had death of a prince in canon, could even be one more thing contributing to Jackson's current angst with Black Manta (I think most people would hold their dads killing a baby against them :P)

But like that would just be a cherry on top of the angst sundae or w/e, we really do just need more panel time with Jackson.

Since it's common for batfam to have some computer skills and hacking, I think oracle babs should turn whoever the current robin is into her mini me hacker assistant. Give them the tedious jobs.
