HI HI I've got Splatoon oc questions for you :)

Got a lil confused about the numbering so I'll include the questions too

15. What is their main weapon? How did they pick it, and is it customized?

Hiii bird! I'll only be answering for Tillo and Tuna if that's alright !!

What is their main weapon? How did they pick it, and is it customized? Tillo - Mains the Tri-stringer! It shoots exploding arrows, what can they say... There are stickers on the wood part, and sometimes they replace the syringe contents with something more.. explosive (OUTSIDE OF BATTLES OUTSIDE OF BATTLES) Tuna - Mains the heavy splatling ! He doesn't really like to get up close and personal, and he likes the wavebreaker. There are also stickers on the ink tank portion of the splatling.

Everyday skill they DO NOT have Tillo - They can't budget properly,,, They see something they like in the store and they HAVE to get it. Also is kinda addicted to the gacha machine, but don't tell them that. They want a specific thing from the gacha machine and will NOT STOP UNTIL THEY GET IT. Tuna - He has a little trouble speaking with new people, but overall he's quite decent at everything. He's capable of setting his foot down when it comes to Tillo's antics, but his threshold is much more higher than the average cephalopod (aka, he puts up with TOO much of Tillo's bs)

Favorite kind of food? Do they like fresh foods or prefer fried? Both of them like fresh food better! While Tillo forgets to eat sometimes, Tuna does enjoy sashimi and other sushi-esque food. He also likes takoyaki and wasabi. Tillo on the other hand, can't stand spice lol as long as its edible (debatable) and not spicy, Tillo might just eat it

Can they play any instruments? How did they get started? Tillo - Plays the violin! It started as a joke, but they got legitimately into it. Sometimes he plays it horribly, sometimes they play it very well, it just depends on their mood Tuna - Can somewhat play a shamisen (it was required in his village), but isn't that great at it. Would prefer to dance, actually.

(Splatoon OC questions) 1, 7, 17, 19?

HI!! I'm gonna talk about Tuna, Oli and Tillo because they're the ones I have on the brain the most :]

1: What is their full name? Do they like it? Tuna - Opuntia! He doesn’t really like his name (it’s kinda long to say), so he’d rather prefer being called Tuna. Tillo - Ocotillo! They're fine with their name, never saw a reason to change it. Likes that it's the same as a desert flora. Oli - Oliver ! He picked it out, so he likes it hehe

7: Do they take part in ink battles? What kind and how often? Tuna - He does turf sometimes with Tillo, but he’s more of a salmon run guy. He earns money for both school and rent through Salmons and goes every week day for a few hours or so. Tillo - YES! They play anarchy and turf when they need to relieve some excess energy. Sometimes they go with Tuna to salmon run, but they find it not as good as facing against other people Oli - He’s an X-rank player in all game modes! But he will do turf and salmon run if his friends want to, his core belief is to push himself to do better, but overall to have fun and enjoy :)

17: What is THE THING that they’re recognized as being good at by others? Tuna - He’s a great talking companion. This may be because he’s an inklish and law student, but if you get him going in a conversation he’ll pay attention to you and respond in kind. Tillo - Fires. And deduction (said begrudgingly by everyone in universe ever except Tuna) Oli - HES A GREAT TRI-SLOSH PLAYER! And a good learner, he’ll get good at any weapon if you leave him alone with a weapon for a day or two (except blasters). He’s also known for being competitive, but thats only because most of his friends are casual players or don’t play at all.

19: Their BEST FRIEND, if they ABSOLUTELY had to choose one? Tuna - TILLO!! He felt really alone until he moved into Splatsville with them, and it’s just a no-looking back from experience, and he loves every moment he spends with Tuna, even through his moods and erratic behaviour. Tillo - Unbeknownst to Tuna, Tillo was in a really bad spot when they met. They did not have a lot of friends, and was the subject of "you got what you deserved" taunts from all of their classmates. When they met Tuna, they realized they were given a fresh start and a new outlook in life, and they vowed never to leave Tuna ever ! Yeah anyways, it's Tuna :) Oli - Viridian (another oc), he escaped Octo Valley with her help, and he confides in her for everything.
