Another tragedy film with bad ending ;( Story is based on nationalsozialismus. In this movie, we can see that there is the oppression of Nationalsozialismus to Jew. There is one important thing that grown-ups should know from watching this. Itā€™s ā€œCultivatingā€.
Tumblr media
Nationalism is an instillation from generation to generation about what happened in good things and bad things in that country. Cultivating good things to next generations is always good if itā€™s not a liar. Cultivating bad things gives you nothing but hate.Ā
Hatred that caused by older generations but younger people have to take the hate, and as the time passes, the older generations have lost and gone, it turned out that remaining younger people will keep hating the opposition and know nothing of forgive or mercy until they realized and let it go and people who are hated have suffered from what they havenā€™t done or even didnā€™t know anything.
ā€œLet it end in Our generationā€

| From In Time |
First of all In Time is a science fiction action film released in 2011 (so long) I've watched this movie since it was on DVD. Then I rewatched it and I found that I got a different perspective. In the past, what I learned is "Value of Time" but there is something more than that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A reality of this movie references from our nowadays real-life is inequality of life and what the government is doing to citizens even though it was 11 years ago. When I was younger I thought itā€™s still distant for me and hard to understand but now I get it because itā€™s now relevant to me.
What I see?
In this movie, I see horrible things from the perspective of authority, capitalists that donā€™t care anything about citizens who live at a rising cost of living but low income and take advantage of citizens for themselves like in real-life. Selfishness in people and surviving in the cruel world. Hard to see someone happy.
Tumblr media
In the end, people who are strongā€¦I mean people who are wealthy or born rich can survive and succeed at the same time people who lack opportunities, low cost of living canā€™t flourish and struggle with their life. Because of unequal civilizations.

About 2020s Chinese Mainland culture animations and also fantasy.
Turning RedĀ
Impressively represents Chinese culture and storytelling in coming of age girl, Mei who wants to be herself (and can transforms into a red panda, too), living with her dutiful mom (Ming Lee) and small family in Toronto.
Mei and her friends are obsessed with the latest boy band 4*Towns come to Toronto to have concerts, so they have to find a way to collect the money. They earn money by using her power (red panda) to make money off of other classmates by hugging or having a picture with Mei. But have been stopped by Ming Lee because of her love and overprotectiveness. She doesnā€™t want her daughter to become a red panda because of her temper.

Meanwhile, Wish Dragon
Another fantasy comedy animation that gives an expression of life, peaceful living or struggle life, reality about unjust society, inequalities at the starting gate, walks of life and also represents Chinese culture like Turning Red,too. Itā€™s about a college student, Din who lives in an old shikumen with his mom and friendly neighborhoods. One day, he meets Long (a pink DRAGON with 3 wishes) who is punished by heaven and has been sent to the earth to serve 10 masters to learn the true meaning of life and Din decides to go to see his old neighborhood friend, Li Na who is now living in a lavish life with her father, being a high society but not wealthy, meet people who likely not sincere and only care about themselves which clearly represents how in our real life is.
However, these 2 films have the same 2 things : the love of parents towards children in Asian version and ā€œChinese Mainlandā€ cultureā€¦and both of them give a well and understanding message. As expected from Pixar Animation Studios and Sony Pictures Animation.

What I found
A sci-fi comedy movie with an impressive expression of teenage life. Including satirize nowadays society which people live on the internet. [Available on Netflix]
In my opinion, I appreciate that this movie can give a real family scenery. Itā€™s a story about Mitchell family including :
Katie (older sister), Rick (father), Linda (mother), Aaron (little brother)Ā  A walking loaf of bread (Monchi) (P.S. Heā€™s a pug.)Ā  Also Deborahbot 5000 and ERIC (who are robot HUMANS)
Most of the time is a conflict between Katie who is completely a Gen Z then she is going to be a fresher in the college which is a turning point and her father Rick who is a nature lover and family-oriented trying to understand his daughter but doesn't know how.

How about Comedy?
Honestly, this movieā€™s comedy is on point.Ā
If youā€™re looking for a modern comedy, I recommend you shouldn't miss this one. First, I seldom laugh watching movies but I have to admit that they can break my guard lol. šŸ˜‚
I didnā€™t expect that itā€™d be that funny itā€™s just a normal joke that we can see and use in real life, looks like non-scripted dialog or dialogue and I love this kind of joke this mean how the director pays attention to the details and know what a good sense of humor is.
Tumblr media
And Dramatics?
Well, clearly. Because itā€™s about Gen Z and Gen Y who has their own reasons. then itā€™s about trying to understand each other. If you already have a family issue, I think watching this with family can get along with your parents better or maybe worse?

I found a point near the end of this movie thatā€™s -Ā
ā€œPeople will know how expensive the wordsĀ are when theyā€™re limitedā€
But in real life we donā€™t leaves to fall but lifetime instead, then you should say whatever you want to say, whoever that you love or sorry before itā€™s too late. šŸ˜²šŸ„ŗ
