My tumbles page is typically just a dump of my thoughts but I've had experience with stalkers before and I really don't want anyone to go through that.
If anyone happens to stumble over here, at least consider donating something to Kayla if you can.

A lot of brewskis have noticed my slow down these last few months and this is the major reason for it. Yes, a person at my work has been following me at the beginnings of my shifts and has not gotten any repercussion. I don't feel safe anymore. My partner and I are moving, but even still we don't feel comfortable with me working at that place, however it's difficult as I don't have a college degree and this place pays more than most jobs around here.
We have some plans in place, but I'm financially struggling. I hate to do this, but I created a ko-fi to help with relocation and to help stifle some of the burden of quitting this job. All the money would go towards things like rent, groceries, and car payments. I do have a Patreon, but it isn't bringing in enough to help with this issue and I'm debating about deleting it due to me not being able to keep up with things over there.
Anything helps, but don't donate if you can't---reading this and sharing it will be a massive help still <3

Basically Done with Breath of the Wild
Alright, so...
You know how there are about 900 Korok seeds in Breath of the Wild? Well that's all that's left for me to do in the game. And you know what? I'm not going to do that.
I completed all the quests, filled out the Hyrule Compendium, and finished all 120 shrines. Therefore, I am done.
Hardcore completionists will say something on the lines of "achtually, the game isn't complete because you HAVE to get the golden turd from Hetsu" blah blah blah don't care, it's not worth the effort.
Nintendo never made achievements or trophies or anything resembling them so everything in Nintendo games are dependent on the game itself telling you it's complete. Breath of the Wild encourages you NOT to collect korok seeds. In fact, it stops upgrading your inventory space half way through the collection. The only reason to get all of the seeds is to have the golden turn, which is basically telling you you wasted too much time on it.
If the game tells me I don't have to. I don't have to. No need to fret over it. I decided it's done and if others are going to have a tantrum over one game I play not being wiped clean then that's their issue.
The shrines were my prime concern because they up your health and stamina. Also noticed 120 is like the Nintendo standard for collectables in their games. Aside from Mario Odyssey, the number 120 shows up frequently. Must be something special about it.
What korok seeds I stumbled on while looking for those shrines were what I got... which happened to be 120 as well... huh... anyhow, majority of the trials were basic test your might or freebies. On occasion I did a puzzle that didn't need internet search for. Maybe two that were on top of a mountain pair mainly because they were very stupid puzzles dependent on you going back and forth between the two shrines. Whoever though of that one deserves a slap across the face.
I honestly did not think I'd get through Breath of the Wild, at all. Let alone this year. Breath of the Wild is one game I've strongly disliked for several reasons but I'm not reviewing anything so just know I didn't like it, boo for me.
Just glad it's off the checklist of my backlog.

What I'd Hope A Star Fox Adventures Remake Would Be Like
I use tumblr as a dumping ground for my thoughts on various things. I fully believe no one would care enough to read any of this even if they did stumble on it at random. So that's why I'm slapping this post in. Just to get it out of my head because I'm frustrated there's no Star Fox on Switch... yet. There's very little hope but there is maybe like a 0.01% chance we'd get a Star Fox game.
For the past two weeks I've been thinking about Star Fox Adventures, my favorite Star Fox game because dinosaurs, staff combat, and collectables. However, the more I think about it the more major problems with the game make themselves known.
Such as Krystal being stuck inside a crystal for the entire game until the end where she joins Fox's crew without proving her qualifications. Along with Falco who just shows up. When and why did he just appear for no reason?
This is why I think Star Fox Adventures should have a full blown reassembly remake full new game with same name. Much like Star Fox 64 and Star Fox Zero.... Look, if Nintendo is willing to remake the first Star Fox they can do the same for the other three in the franchise.
It is my understanding that majority of Star Fox fans love the 3 branching paths from the first game. Therefore I think it would be a good idea to implement 3 paths with Adventures. BUT the paths are based on the character you choose. Those being Fox, Krystal, and Falco.
The reason for this is to give each of them their own story line instead of Fox soloing the krazoa spirits and force point temples. As well as give a reason for Falco being near dinosaur planet.
Fox's path might be the easiest with his focus being on collecting Force Point crystals. One for each classical element but different name like Volcano, Ocean, Sky, and Forest. Taking some inspiration from Ocarina of Time but so did the first iteration of the game. It would also be nice to see different Force Point Temples instead of the same two twice. I would also insist Fox have his blaster, keeping it the way it was before but replace staff combat with his Smash Bros set.
I'd also suggest Fox using the snow horn and earth walker as substitute landmasters. Feel like Fox using blasters on top of prehistoric creatures would be more fun. Particularly if you use controls similar to the landmaster for it.
Krystal would be focused on collecting the krazoa spirits because a mysterious mystical entity told her it would help save the planet. Unlike the Gamecube game, Krystal would not be ambushed by some... thing.... and trapped in a crystal. Instead, she continues searching for the spirits, fights sharpclaws with her staff, and returns the spirits to the mystery entity.
Each krazoa spirit would have a trial for her and she could upgrade her staff along the way.
Falco would be stealthier gameplay. Implementing disguise kit and 3D platforming more than the other two. He'd, of course, use the same type of combat Fox has but be faster.
Since the lore says he was bored of Star Fox not getting any jobs, I'd figure him being a solo merc bumming around would do well enough to explain what he was doing prior to dinosaur planet. Keeping the story solution simple, Falco gets hired by an old friend who came across files of Andros making deals with General Scales to supply higher technology on a low tech planet in exchange for magical secrets. Because magic exists in Star Fox universe. What else would krazoa spirits be?
Anyhow, that's how I explain Falco being on dinosaur planet. Just taking up a job to figure out what General Scales is doing now that Andros is (supposed to be) dead.
Not so subtle; Andros is the mysterious entity Krystal been giving krazoa spirits to and the giant monkey is using them to reconstruct himself as a resurrection ritual. Krystal's big boss fight is against Scales who seeks to resurrect Andros to continue their deal and take over dinosaur planet under Andros' empire.
Wanted to give General Scales more menacing presence this time around so I would have him be the big boss of all three paths before the final boss, Andros, which uses arwing gameplay (Krystal uses a cloud runner and her staff). The arwing gameplay reoccurs between land missions (Falco having the most arwing time).
For the most part the game would not be far different than the Gamecube one. However, various additions and small changes would be beneficial.
These are just my ideas for a game I don't think will ever be seen. Think there's a ton of people around the internet doing fan games of Star Fox implementing dinosaur planet with explosions and arwing and landmaster combat. Not sure if they're much better than my ideas of simply adding to the previous game. But it's still more than what Nintendo gives us with Star Fox.
I personally hope we get Adventures and Assault on Switch or at least Assault. Assault was more of a Star Fox game and it continued the story much better. Oh well, there's always 64 with the online subscription...

A Long Time Ago in A Star Fox Away...
STAR FOX 64 3D!
Is a game I have on my 3DS. Yes, I kept a hold of it. It's a pretty purple!
Anyhow, I was in the mood for a space game but I wanted to play a space game where you pilot a space ship shooting other ships in space. Then I remembered this game.
So Star Fox 64 3D is a remake of Star Fox 64 which is a remake of the first Star Fox game.
Basically, Nintendo said "Yo I heard you like Star Fox so we put Star Fox in your Star Fox so you can play Star Fox while playing Star Fox" and apparently they said the same thing with Star Fox Zero which is a remake of a remake of a remake.
BLOODY HELL!!! Can we leave the first game already?! You can't just stay in the same sandbox at the playground your entire life. Get on the swing set or monkey bars!
But enough about Star Fox Adventures and Assault. We're talking about the sandbox.
There's about three branches the game takes. Each one ranges in difficulty. Each level plays the same with minor differences. It's an on rails shooter so can't expect too much to change. I'm thinking Star Fox would work best as an arcade game with a full arwing set up you can hop in and pretend you're an actual space pilot.
Where was I?
Eh, this is all there is to say about Star Fox. Rail shooter, branching paths, Star Wolf shows up occasionally, and usual giant space robot fights. I wasn't entirely sure how you 100% the game so I went through all the branches and got medals for keeping Peppy, Falco, and Target Practice alive. I assume that's how you complete the game...
Nintendo never implemented a method of knowing how you 100% a game unless the game itself tells you. Which means I'm just assuming I finished Star Fox 64 3D. Maybe they could add a badge system akin to Pikmin 3 for the next remake of the remake of the remake of the first game. OR THEY COULD COME UP WITH SOMETHING ORIGINAL!

Ripto's Rage Has Me Furious
I mentioned (in a previous post) that I completed two out of three games in the Spyro Reignighted trilogy. Those two being the first Spyro and Year of the Dragon. Oh hey, we're in a Dragon Year!
So, yeah, I finished the middle game Ripto's Rage.
Part of the reason I didn't finish it is because the trophies are very specific on how to unlock them. Most of them are "Finish x amount of y while using z" which I had to double check to make sure I didn't mess it up.
Which had me going over and over again back and forth on each individual trophy. My phone battery was in the red half way through my quest to 100%.
Of course, the other trophies required I gathered all the green orbs and relics. Which gave me a power up that wasn't really worth it. A super flame after the game is done isn't going to give much enjoyment when it's only useful to one shot enemies I can already one shot.
Well, it was useful against Gulp (who continuously frustrated me with the dragon seeking plasma balls) for that final trophy. So there's that.
The trophies weren't hard to do but they were quite difficult to figure out. Apparently what I assumed were lemurs were monkeys. Whatever you say 'Toys for Bob' or is this Activision's fault?
I did finish the remaining half I didn't do in a single day. But I really do not want to go back to this game after dealing with these strange trophies.

Damsel Does What Disney Couldn't
I don't want to write about films or shows often because I'm not big on them. I also worried I might spill too much info while talking about it. However, I felt this one was too good to be silent about.
The premise is a princess fights a dragon.
Something.... I don't think has been done before. Maybe. Not sure if it's the first but it certainly feels like the first.
I'm going off everything that was from the trailer to avoid spoiling the movie since it just recently came out. Unsurprisingly, they put quite a bit in the trailer. That's the thing to do these days. Jam all the action bits in the trailer and hope the audience stays awake for the slow bits.
However, there's quite a bit of action left over after the trailer. Such as the princess exploring the caves and running from the dragon.
That's right, THE PRINCESS RUNS AWAY FROM THE DRAGON BECAUSE THAT IS THE OBVIOUS AND LOGICAL THING TO DO. Had she just picked up a sword and go head in for a fight, this would have been another Disney "empowered" strong woman sludge.
Thankfully, it's not and the princess uses her intelligence rather than magic deus ex machina and actually struggles while planning her escape from the dragon. Yes, ESCAPE, because that is what any normal person would do. Let's not forget this is a girl who expected to be married to a prince (for political reasons) and was tricked into being a dragon's dinner.
So yeah, Elodie (the princess, I'm done writing 'the princess' so often) manages to get her wedding dress torn up and hides in a cave with a map made by the previous princesses the dragon roasted over the century. Which help Elodie find a path to her escape.
A good chunk of this film is Elodie fumbling around the caves up and down, climbing chasms and running from dragon fire. It sounds like it would be boring but the film does it in a way that makes it all intense and fun to watch.
But after she escapes, OH NO, her sister gets set up to be sacrificed! So Elodie jumps back in the dragon's lair to get her sister out. This is where she does fight the dragon but she works with her strengths, which is her intelligence and strategizing skills. Never thought I'd see a modern movie give a girl a brain instead of a mcguffic to solve her problems.
Elodie is hands down the best female character we've been given in a long time and it's high time we got her. She's not physically strong like a man. She's emotionally and mentally strong, being able to confront terrible monsters, forgive bad decisions or mistakes, and having the courage to save her sister. THIS is what people have been begging for in female characters for years!
Hopefully, this is the start of better female character and not a jump into more stories of women fighting giant monsters ignoring the entire moral behind the story.
There's a megaton of stuff I left out for the sake of spoilers not being spilled.
The point I wanted to get across was that Damsel is a really good film that I highly recommend ... if you have Netflix already. Never going to condone purchasing streaming "service" just for a single show or film. I demand variety with that kind of thing!

Stick Truth in Southern Parks
Since I had to purchase a PSN Premium subscription, I noticed it included Ubisoft games.
I've grown negative feelings for Ubisoft for a variety of reasons ranging from their business practices to issues with their games and even their blatant abandonment of ips they decided wasn't profitable enough. Oh but they'll release another Assassin's Creed or reskin Far Cry for a 7th time.
Anyhow, I figured I'd attempt to stream a Ubisoft game and chose South Park the Stick of Truth.
Unfortunately, I over estimated the "service" and found the game stream would glitch over far too often to count. This in turn caused my playthough to not read numerous actions I put in. Which would cause my party to lose large chunks of health.
It wasn't bad enough to make the game unplayable but it did cause the trophies to not register.
I managed to collect all the ending trophies in a couple playthoughs. I had Kenny die 10 times in the first one after accidentally forgetting to revive Butters once. I had also forgotten to do the "Inside Joke" trophy so I had to accomplish that in the second playthough.
You'd think two playthroughs would be enough, and you'd normally be correct. However, I ended up missing a few collectables that could not be retraced so I had to go back and restart everything from the beginning. Mainly to make sure the stream registered Clyde (or was it Craig?) as a friend because he's apparently essential even though he's on the friend list only for the tutorial.
So I had to playthough the game two more times because I kept missing *something* that was missable.
Eventually, I got everything. All the weapons and armor and boot leg pokemon and all 120 friends including Clyde.
The collectable were pretty bad when you miss them but the stream constantly breaking made it much worse. If it wasn't in combat, it'd do it when I talk to people (which is how you get friends) or when I pickup a collectable. My time in South Park was excruciating.
I think if I ever dare to attempt to play another Ubisoft game with PSN, I am going to ensure that it as downloaded and avoid streaming because it clearly does not work.

Games I 100%ed Between Scrambling to Put Up and Away Holiday Decorations
So... Been a while since I've actually put stuff up on the internets.
I was particularly busy with IRL nonsense, specifically: putting away Christmas decorations followed by putting up Valentines decorations that only lasted one week before I was ordered to put those away and put up Spring decorations because, yes, my family decorates for ALL holidays and seasons. This year is different because St. Patrick and Easter are in the same month, granting me some real downtime for once.
I bring all that up because the games I 100%ed recently were very short and easy.
The first one being One Night, Hot Springs! A very very small visual novel with adorable art about a trans woman celebrating her friend's birthday. Honest, I was intrigued because I'm trans and wanted to play something that was about a trans person. My options were very limited in that department. All I got left is Celeste.
Anyhow, it's FREE on steam and it's a small part of a bigger visual novel that costs about $5 on Steam. The creator is npckc and their art is consistent with all of their games. Thought it would be nice to drop the name so anyone who stumbles on this post can at least consider supporting them.
Next game was Shadow Burglar, a stealth game that made my computer's fan go haywire. I put all the settings on low, how was it still going nuts?
Well, aside from desktop issues, the game played very well. However, there was no save points. Meaning, you have to play the entire two levels in one go. The achievements were barely a thought since I got them instantly. Although, I'd imagine the last one would be trouble for anyone who has no idea what the Konami Code is. Hint: Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A.
Shadow Burglar was free as well bu I don't really think it's worth the time to invest in. Maybe if the developer expanded the concept to a larger game but as is, it's best to focus on other games.
The last game I played, on Steam, during this time was Fable (Anniversary Edition). I've stated before that Fable 2 and 3 were super easy and could be finished in little to no time. I still stand by that even with the first game because the only actual grind was finding all the keys, books, chests, and stuff for the doors. Everything else was a cake walk. Mostly because almost all the achievements had two methods of unlocking them. Didn't even have to open the Demon Doors since flipping one off gets you the achievement.
Oh there was this one issue with a glitched npc that wouldn't let you play the mini game for Twinblade's doll. I got past it by giving him some gems and slowing time.
That was it for the games on Steam. As for Playstation... Have to admit... I purchased a psn subscription.
As painful as it is to admit. I had to because I couldn't get my old PS3 fixed nor could I find a refurbished one nearby. Wish I knew a reliable repair place because I enjoy playing my games on discs rather than stream but I don't so I'm doomed.
And the one game I streamed on psn was the Sly Collection. I already have to original discs but since PS4 can't play PS3 discs I was stuck with the streaming.
It didn't get too bad until the Ms. Ruby boss fight. Which has you match buttons as the icons slowly creep towards Sly. Issue with the streaming was that it lagged a lot on that level so I lost 11 lives to Ms. Ruby because the stream would not register the inputs I made.
The lag did not get better after that. I ended up having to watch Panda King's level in slow motion and Clockwork froze twice! Thankfully, the lag let up once Sly 2 started. It was smooth sailing from there. Got through all of Sly 2 and 3 nice and easy.
Until I had to do the challenges in Sly 3.
Not to say they were hard, far from it. They were just tedious. I did not like the challenges one bit. Something about putting a timer on something drives my anxiety through the roof and I freak out more because of it.
After the challenges were done I just had four mini games and the Sly Collection was 100% complete.
And despite Nintendo being the family friendly company with easy games... 100%ing a Nintendo game is a nightmare! So I had the bright idea of avoiding Nintendo stuff for some time. Only recently restarting Pokémon Scarlet after seeing the teaser for Pokémon ZA.
This puts my total amount of games completed (for these past few months) at 7. 3 from Steam and 4 from the Sly Collection (yes, I'm including the mini games as a separate game much like PSNProfiles does.

Fallout 4 and THAT Achievement
So after a long long time of figuring out how to boost my settlement score to 100, I finally earned the platinum for Fallout 4!
Seriously, that final achievement was the biggest pain in the ass since I got the game.
In the mean time; I leveled up to level 70, collected all the bobble heads, all the magazines, EVERY power armor, ranked up all companions, and earned every single achievement in all factions all dlcs and all weird miscellaneous ones. I seriously completed ALL of the game and still couldn't get the Benevolent Leader achievement.
I looked up several hundred guides to help me get this damn achievement yet I still couldn't get it. The score would always end on 80 or just suddenly drop for no reason.
It wasn't until I logged onto psnprofiles dot com and tried out all of their suggestions that I managed to get the score to 90.
And it STILL kept dropping!!!
I've taken many breaks and played other games just to get away from this forsaken achievement. It was two days ago that I finally earned it by dropping 8 surgery centers. 8! Psnprofiles said 6 was good enough but the score started dropping after a while so I plopped down one more to get it back up and it worked. Took about 5 hours standing around the same spot but I finally got the damn thing and the platinum with it!
This left me with this lesson:
It doesn't matter how much food, water, security you have for people. It does not matter how much entertainment or mind altering drinks you provide for them. You can give people all the things they could ever want and they will still whine and complain and never be happy. The only way you can ever make a large group of people happy is by opening way too many medical centers so they can have healthcare on every corner of the block.
Everyone wants healthcare! Give them all the doctors and nurses and drugs! The people are never going to stop crying until they have cheap and convenient healthcare...
Honestly, that may apply to real life more than it should.
