I’m not dead, I promise
To those of you who follow my RDR2 fan fiction in either Archive or Fanfiction I am not dead and neither is the story. I am just recovering from a very hard and painful emergency surgery. I will be back home and posting soon my loves. Until then I will be healing and jotting down ideas for the upcoming new short fic I’ll be doing.

My heart always bursts with joy when I see writers helping each other out!
Ok I've had this story in my head for quite a while now and the main character has Asperger's.But I am still too afraid to put anything on paper because I don't know if I am able to do this right.I've done some research, although I want and need to learn more about it,but I don't want my character to be a textbook type if that makes sense.I want to make sure I've got the facts right but I also want to do it justice,to really get how a person with Asperger's feels, thinks, lives, loves and dreams
Doing some research is a great start because it helps you learn the more scientific nature of what you’re trying to write. The autism spectrum is frequently poorly portrayed in media so the facts are so important to learn.
That said, facts only get you so far when it comes to writing a story, especially when it comes to portraying someone who’s unlike yourself and part of a poorly understood part of society. I recommend that you expand that research to include interviews and testimonials of people who align with the portrayal you need. You’re likely feeling like you have to do too much guess work because there isn’t any personal or well-understood experience to work with.
For doing the character justice, you want to make sure they’re as developed as a protagonist should be. They need:
Motivation and a goal, to serve as the main driver of the plot.
Relationships with others people, whether they be positive or negative.
An antagonist(ic force) to provide conflict for the story. This person (or force) works against the protagonist’s goal to give the plot conflict.
Personality. One of the most common issues I see with these kind of portrayals is the characters are only their disability and interests. They need real traits to be a person, but keep in mind that traits aren’t inherently good or bad (link embedded) they should be a dynamic part of the story.
It might also help to invest in some Beta Readers who have the life experience you’re looking for. After you get the basic story down in the first draft, polish it up for the second, then send it out to Betas for opinions and notes. If you’re really worried about things during the writing process, then you can find an Alpha Reader who works alongside you for more immediate feedback.
Good luck with your character!

Chapter 15: Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern
Story: The Nature of Fate
Rated: Explicit
Teaser: "Give me a minute!" John shot back.
"I'm proud to call you a Marston." He spoke in a softer tone and gave her shoulder a firm pat. A bittersweet grin touched her lips.
"I'm proud to be one." Her voice wavered a little. John pulled her in with a gentle hug.
"You take care of her!" John ordered pointing at where Sadie and Charles sat on the drivers seats.
"Just get out there! Make it safe for us!" Tami yelled at his retreating form. She lay back and watch the clouds roll. Ghosts of gunshots and screams met her ears. Codes didn't scream, Computers didn't beg for their lives... Humans did.

Chapter 14: The Carnival of Lights
Story: The Nature of Fate
Rated: Explicit
Teaser: Her will broke like glass. The cold rim of the goblet was at her lips before she even realized what was happening. The bitter sweet taste flooded her mouth as red streamed down her cheeks. She drank greedily. Drinking until she was sure the goblet was empty, and then drank more. Her abdomen felt bloated from the amount of liquid that entered her, yet she still drank. Desperate to crush the sudden thirst within her.
Arthur touched her mind. Fuzzy at first. His face, the smile, his scent, abrasive attitude, rare kindness, sweet words, hot temper... It filled her alongside the liquid that coated her tongue and throat. She wanted him in a way that she had never wanted a person before. The love inside her chest was stoked by the fog in her mind to roar in her very ears. Everything became too much. Tami fought against herself. Trying not to drink anymore, but the liquid kept pouring. She bucked against her own stiff muscles willing them to move. A silent scream stuck in her throat. Trapped in her own body as if waking to sleep paralysis.
"It is done..." The voice met her ears only briefly. Smoke erupted into the room completely blinding Tami. Her hands shook clasped around the golden goblet. She felt her body tremor as breathing came erratically. The smoke faded away to show an empty room. The few candles that were lit around her casted shadows along it's walls. Eyes looked down to see her dress was untouched. A hand wiped her face and pulled away to show nothing. Tami looked side to side in silent panic. What had just happened? What did she do?

Update
To my readers from Archive or Fanfiction I have an update.
No, I have not stopped writing The Nature if Fate. There has been some personal issues happening that I have been taking care of this past week. That and the fact that the next chapter is a special due to hitting 60 kudos on Archive and will be a longer chapter than normal, means I have been working on it here and there. I have limited access to internet for now and will finish it up once I am able to get to a laptop and do a spell check run. Please be patient as I deal with my situations, and I really hope the chapter will be worth the wait for everyone.
-Love you guys and have a great day!

Chapter 13: All You Need Is Faith
Story: The Nature of Fate
Rated: Explicit
Teaser:"I guess we were friends. Besides I'm always weird according to you guys." She took the necklace from him and shoved it into her pocket.
"Friends don't just give a woman jewelry." John insinuated raising his brows.
"Seriously." She nudged his knee with her foot, "We didn't have anything romantic like going on."
"Maybe you didn't." He shrugged, "You sure you don't wanna talk?" He paused reaching out to grab her shoulder, "You can talk to me."
"You wouldn't understand." She shrugged his hand away.
"I could try." He nodded towards the dock, "C'mon."
"Do I have a choice?"
"No."

In fact, it was sweet. You had only been dating for a few weeks but your little teen heart just jumped at his text. You squeezes and kicked your feet in your bed. Holding the phone with both hands as your eyes started to glow. It was just perfect.
Until it wasn’t. You started noticing little things that ticked you off. He never tipped in restaurants, treated his own family like crap, would yell at you for simple things like your hair, and the last straw was when he kicked your dog. Breaking it off was easy at that point. After all it was just high school. Your little heart squeezed for his affection long after that. Heartbreak still hurt even if you were valid in the decision. After all you miss the memory not the person.
He stopped talking to you after that. It seemed easy enough. You avoided each other in the halls and deleted each others numbers. You thought everything was getting back into order.
And then he snapped. You remember the night in splotchy details. The way his hands grabbed you, the tie around your wrist, the taste of the gag in your mouth, and the cramped way you were forced into his trunk.
His basement was always dark and cold. The few times you see light are when he visits you. He offers you comfort and food if you behave well enough, so behave you must.
You should have seen it long before it happened. He told you everything you had needed to know before, but it was absolutely unthinkable that someone was capable of all this. In no way did you ever think this could happen to you. At first, the message didn’t seem like a threat.
“I will keep you by my side, by any means necessary.”

The colors in my dreams are so much brighter than in real life. I set out to discover why. In hindsight I should have left well enough alone. I lived a simple life that allowed me the freedom of imagination. The world had been prefect and I was a fool. I should have seen my parents more. I should have let myself enjoy life a bit more. I should have bought all the nice things and spent money to pamper myself instead of saving it away. I shouldn’t have gone on this stupid adventure, and I shouldn’t have walked through that damn door.
prompt 1099
The colors in my dreams are so much brighter than in real life. I set out to discover why.
[Finish the paragraph. Write a longer piece if the spirit moves you.]

Chapter 12: Blood and Tears
Chapter 12: Blood and Tears
Story: The Nature of Fate
Rated: Explicit
Teaser:"I can't... Arthur I can't. It hurts." Tami cried out as she sharp metal slipped and sliced against her wrists yet again. She pulled against the rope to see if it had loosened a little, but winced as her skin opened up and bled down her back.
"Yes you can. You have to." His one exposed eye looked up at her from the cloth. Heavy blood dripped from his crimson stained hair and onto the ground. His body swayed side to side slowly.
"I don't think you understand the amount of times this metal has fucking cut me." Tami whined as the metal sliced against her skin once again.
"Listen to me, I need you. Okay? I need your help or we can't get out of here. I know it hurts. I hurt too. You can do it. Trust me." Arthur begged softly. Her blue eyes met his. Filled to the brim with tears.
"You can encourage me, but don't lie. I know you don't need me." She grunted as she rose her hands to bring the rope down across the metal again. A soft cry of happiness left her lips as the rope let go.
"Good girl." Arthur encouraged. He swallowed hard as he watched the sliced appearance of her wrists as blood dripped heavenly down her fingers. The small appendages shook as she started on the ropes around her legs.
"Arthur?" She stammered.
"Yeah?" He asked while the rope slipped down her ankles.
"Shut up." The lever clicked as she pulled it. The ground met Arthur hard and fast. He groaned as stars came across his vision. Tami ran to him and cradled his head cursing herself as she surveyed his wounds, "You okay?" She asked as he tried to pull himself back into his own mind, "Talk to me." She begged.
"I thought you told me to shut up." He stammered through labored breathing. A rueful smile met her lips.Disclaimer: Due to the way FFN works it may take 30 min to an hour to update

Starting to take requests.
I will start with simple one shots for now.
I mostly do video game fictions, but can also do things from the Marvel and DC universe. If it is a niche I don’t know I may have to turn the request away. Please feel free to ask away. There is a small chance I will turn it away, but don’t feel as if I am being maliciouse at all.
I will try and get Requests out at the longest a week after it has been taken. If at any time I do end up being more popular (hopefully one day) I will do them in order of received and let you know if it will take longer than a week.

Chapter 11: An Old American Past Time
Story: The Nature of Fate
Chapter 11: An Old American Past Time
Rated: Explicit
Teaser: John pulled Arthur aside when he finally returned. Karen had taken the very drunk Tami back to the other women much to the giggling and loud voices that rose with her arrival, "You felt it too, didn't you." John asked, "I know you did."
Arthur sucked at his teeth and kicked the dirt with his boot, "Yeah I did. Don't know why."
"Me neither, did you hear her?" John asked and crossed his arms.
"Yeah... I'm beginning to feel absolutely crazy." Arthur stretched his arms and felt his shoulders pop. He groaned as the feeling brought a slight bought of pleasure to him.
"I was running towards her. In the middle of goddamn camp, Running towards a fantom. She was on fire." John hissed and rubbed his face, "The looks they gave me, Abigail thought I was drunk."
“She said she saw herself on fire when trying to get something out of the Braithwaite woman." Arthur bit a slice of old skin off of his bottom lip.
John looked to where Tami was drunkenly spinning in her dress much to the singing and applause of the other women. The blush of alcohol and fun on her cheeks apparent even from a distance, "She doesn't go back there, ever." He stated firmly.
