First picture is the bread we made with the Oster express bake bread maker. The second picture is my Oster breadmaker it’s 10 years old and because my wife took such good care of it the pan is still nice and clean and the bread comes out easily. The third picture is the recipe this onion bread recipe from the Oster cookbook that came with the bread maker. The recipe requires onion soup in the bread which we didn’t want to do because of the preservatives and other chemicals that they put an onion soup. First ever homemade apple pie! Not perfect but I sure enjoyed eating it with my spouse! The recipe is not so simple, 1 cup vegan butter, 5 apples peeled and cores removed then sliced, 1/2 dried cranberries, punkin pie spices, juice from one lemon and zest of that lemon, 3-cups almond flour and all 1.5 cups purpose flour, oil spray on top, not sure if that did anything! So my problem was the bottom layer was very wet, and it took time to cook. 475 fir 15 minutes, 350 for 45 minutes then an additional 30 to get a nice glow on top crust. I loved it but all that time did not cook the bottom crust! Linda helped me through the entire process as I manipulated the pie. Well it took like forever but I finally got the garden removed scrape clean and I installed about 20 bags of mulch it’s over 4 inches thick in some places. Then I installed a little fire pit not that will ever use it but we have this fire pit we bought for my mother and I want to make sure we use it for that. Those green plants in the middle of the garden then our sunflowers and Doug only gonna last a few months. So it’s turned out really good I’m really happy about it and today I’m taking a day off enjoy my labor.
