The hold this show has on me… 25 years after it ended. ‘Due South’ is a Canadian treasure. Absurdly funny and ridiculously entertaining. Callum Keith Rennie is gonna slay in the final season of Discovery.
4 inch hand-stitched embroiderini.

The background makes it look like I took them to JCPenney for a photoshoot. 1.5 inch embroiderinis!
I MISS ‘Santa Clarita Diet’. So much. It’s easily one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen in my entire life, and it hits every time I watch it. Olyphant’s manic goofiness is the best, and Barrymore’s cursing is a work of art.
::starts chant:: Bring it back, bring it back, BRING IT BACK!

An embroiderini of Boyd’s precious side piece, Jimmy Tolan. Worst lookout ever, and it sure would be nice if Boyd could learn to read his tone better over the phone.

Milo and the OG Book Tock. ‘The Phantom Tollbooth’ was the first time I realized a book could be art. Never have I been more captivated and awed by words. There are many beautiful quotes in the book, but this one feels particularly relevant.

I fear my embroiderinis are becoming too niche. This isn’t even a shot from the actual show; it’s a behind the scenes shot. Still, “Justified” continues to be the most magnificent show to rewatch and I’mma make it everyone’s problem.

I will give up on anything and everything before I give up hope for a fourth season of ‘Hannibal’. Fannibal for life.

There will never be a show quite like it. The Homoeroticism. The Dialogue. The Suits. Every single thing about it was perfect, and I miss it every day.

Here they are all together: 6x6 inch hand-embroidered hoops (except for Ghost Pigeon, they’re 4x4). It feels like ages ago I started this project, and here we are at the end and at the end of the series, too.
These are some of my favorite characters from any television series ever, and I really appreciate all the love everyone has shown these hoops. Thank you @gavinottesonart for creating these designs for me. I literally couldn’t stitch a stitch without you.

Last- but not least- ghost up: Ghost Pigeon. They didn’t have a lot of lines or screentime, but their comedic timing was impeccable and they left an indelible mark on the show.

Next ghost up: Robin, also played by the phenomenal Laurence Rickard. Other traps: mahogany. Robin loves the moon and crosswords and his sister.

Next ghost up: Sir Humphrey Bone, played by the beyond fantastic Laurence Rickard. Sir Humphrey is more than just a pretty face. He’s a hero. A martyr. Observer of shoes. An occasional volleyball. A rooftop lookout. And 75% of him was once Fanny’s paramour.

A 4x4 inch embroiderini of Jack, the Pumpkin King, lamenting atop the Spiral Hill. Every song on this soundtrack is an absolute banger, but this song in particular is my jam.

“Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other" is a song written by musician Ned Sublette in 1981 and covered by Willie Nelson in 2006.
I really wanted to finish this piece for YeeHaugust, but alas, it was a menace from start to finish to restart to second finish.

Some of the lyrics use outdated language, but I loved this line so much I asked Gav to draw an image to go with it for me to embroider. 8x8 inches, hand-stitched.

I had a bunch of teeny, tiny hoops just laying around so I decided to make some necklaces.

One of my favorite things about Trek: IDIC, Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. The Vulcan philosophy that celebrates the vast array of variables in the universe.

Work from home attire at its finest. Boyd Holbrook is playing the hell out of Clement Mansell, and it’s mesmerizing. And he’s proving that every outfit goes with cowboy boots.
