one of the many love languages there is for fictional characters is assigning them songs. making them playlists. lying on your bed and staring at the ceiling as music plays in your ears and thinking of them. assigning a different hozier song to every one of them. songs you think they'd like and songs you know they'd hate but you add anyway because it makes you think of them. songs that would never exist in their universe and songs that would play on their cars radio. there is nothing more uniting than music, even if it's only uniting you with the idea of a person who does not exist.
