Hi!
So its been a loong time, but its time I get back on my bullshit and attempt to write things again, now that I am no longer all stress all the time. So send in some prompts!
I’ve taken down my pairings list, since it was super out of date, but I’ve reblogged my fandoms list. Its by no means all-encompassing though.
Some pairings I write for a lot:
Hulkeye (Clint/Bruce)
Winterhawk (Clint/Bucky)
Tim/Kon
JayRoy
SoRiku
Promptis
I also have some oc’s and original stuff I might start posting here. So. There’s that.

Snippet #3
Clint had missed training, again. Once a week was not unusual, but twice in a row? Yeah, he was a wanted criminal and all, but that had never stopped him before. Besides, he hadn’t called or texted, so Kate was worried.
She had no clue where he might be either. She’d checked his apartment, but no one had been there, other than Lucky of course. The dog had seemed to be disappointed when Kate had walked through the door instead of Clint.
There had been nothing on the news about the Avengers who had been on Captain America’s side in weeks, so Clint probably hadn’t been caught by any authorities, but that also meant that Kate had no leads.
And then a shitty pop song started playing somewhere in the apartment. A shitty pop song that was unmistakably Clint’s ring tone. Maybe he was home after all, Kate hoped. But the song kept playing and the hope slowly died. This was getting weirder and weirder.
Kate found the phone on the floor of Clint’s bedroom, among disheveled piles of clothes, bedding, and arrow. One of the windows was broken from the outside, shards of glass littered the floor. It was clear something had happened.
Kate was snapped out of her vivid imagining of what may have happened by Clint’s phone going off again. Whoever it was must have really wanted to talk to him. Hesitantly, she answered the call. “Hello?”
“Um. Who is this?” The voice sounded familiar. Tense.
“Kate Bishop.” The voice let out a breath and the tension seemed to lessen. “May I ask who I’m talking to?”
“Bruce Banner.” And that only threw Kate a little bit. She knew the history between Bruce and Clint. She knew more about Clint’s love life than she really thought was necessary. What she hadn't known was that they were in contact again. “Where’s Clint?” Kate worried her lower lip. How do you tell someone that their ex had possibly been kidnaped by an unknown entity?
“You might want to come to his apartment. I. I think he’s been kidnapped.” Blunt. Blunt had to be the best approach here. Fast and to the point, like ripping off a band-aid. “Lucky is here unharmed, but Clint’s room is more of a mess than usual.” It sounded like Bruce was carefully controlling his breathing. Right, part-time rage monster. Kate should have remembered that. “I can try to get one of my friends to track him, but Billy’s powers will only get us so far.”
“Get your friend to look into it. I have to make another call, but I’ll meet you there.” Kate didn’t get to respond before Bruce hung up. Wow, he seemed worried. As worried as Kate herself was. Interesting, but it wasn’t the time to think about that. Instead, she called up Billy and Teddy for help.
“You’re telling me,” Bully started when he arrived, with Teddy in tow, “That a fugitive Avenger has been living here for months and you didn’t tell us?”
“Yes, and now he’s been kidnapped. Can you please track him down?” Kate knew she sounded impatient, and she felt a little guilty, but Clint got in enough trouble on a good day. Getting kidnapped was not something to be taken lightly. Billy seemed to understand her urgency and set to work. Kate watched as he uttered some incantation and glowed. Minutes, seconds, some time later, he opened his eyes.

Snippet #2
Clint was frozen in shock on the roof of his own building. No. Not Grills.
God, he couldn’t believe his friend was dead. All because someone wanted to send Clint a warning or some dumb shit. He couldn’t stand there and watch the police and forensic scientists and EMTs do their jobs. Grills was dead. Clint couldn’t. He couldn’t.
He ran back down into the building, locking himself in his apartment. Beer. He could do beer. Beer he had in spades.
He lost count of how much he’d had somewhere around the fifth beer. He may have stopped there, he may have kept going. He wasn’t sure. Lucky just watched him sadly. But soon after midnight he fell asleep on his lumpy couch prepared to stay for the night.
And then his phone rang.
And kept ringing.
And rang again.
“Aww phone.” Clint grumbled as he was awoken. The only response was the continued ringing. For a second, he considered just unplugging it. Who the fuck even used a landline anymore anyway. If it was important they’d call his cell, right? “I hate you.” He told it before finally giving in and answering.
The other end of the line turned out to be his brother. Barney fucking Barton, calling at some unholy hour of the night, asking for money. Of course.
Clint just gave him some pretty vague answers in order to appease. He was drunk still. He couldn’t deal with this. He just wanted to go back to bed.
Eventually, he managed to get his brother to hang up. He considered the stairs to his room for a moment, contemplating an actual bed, but decided that his couch was good enough. Stairs were dangerous. He was already in pain from the mission with Nat earlier anyway, sleeping on the couch really couldn’t hurt.

Snippet #1
The team was on the run with nowhere to go. They couldn’t stay at the tower, everyone knew where that was, and ever since Natasha had leaked all the SHIELD files, their personal apartments and other locations were compromised too. They were relying on him to get them to safety, he needed somewhere they could stay. He needed…
The farm.
Quickly, smoothly, he redirected the Quinjet towards Iowa. The farm was perfect. It was totally off the grid. No one other than himself and Natasha and Fury knew about it.
And Bucky. Shit.
He glanced back at the team, assessing their situation. Bruce was still out after the fight, and the others were focused on the conversation Tony was having with Maria Hill. He could risk making a quick phone call. One hand on the steering of the ‘jet, he pulled out his in ear comms before dialing his phone and bringing it to his ear with the other.
“Hello?” A slightly confused voice came from the other end. Bucky sounded lucid. It was a good day for him. Clint felt bad for messing it up with what he had to do. At least the good days were happening more often. The bad days were getting further and further apart. It seemed that Bucky had finally broken the hold Hydra had had over him. Now he just seemed to be struggling a lot with guilt and nightmares and the memories of what he had done.
“Hey. I’m coming over. There’s been. Complications on the Avengers end of things and we need to get away to somewhere safe for a while. I just wanted to give you a heads up. You can stay but--”
“Steve’s with you, isn’t he.” Bucky questioned before Clint could break the news himself.
“Exactly. You do whatever you are comfortable with. We won’t be arriving for at least a couple hours.” Clint almost hoped that Bucky would still be there when they arrived. Not for Steve, not really, but so that they would have one more person to help fight their fight. Someone that the bad guys, that Ultron, would not be expecting.
“I’ll be gone by the time you get here. I can’t see him. Not yet.” Clint sighed, he hadn’t really expected any different. “I’ll keep in touch.” Bucky hung up after that, before Clint could even say anything. It was a good thing too, because Tony came over to him not even a minute later offering to drive. He declined the offer.
“We’re still a few hours out.” He told him, only slightly on purpose leaving out the location. It was always fun to keep Tony Stark out of the loop. And any bit of fun would be enjoyed, especially with their situation.
“A few hours from where?” Of course Tony couldn’t just let things go.
“A safe house.” Clint kept it cryptic. No use in explaining the story of how he came to own a farm anyway. Bruce he would tell eventually, but the rest of them didn’t exactly need to know. They didn’t know about his past. It would be way too much to explain when they had other things going on to worry about.

Clint groaned to himself as he dug around in his cabinets for anything resembling coffee. He’d been woken up at the ungodly hour of 8 am by Lucky jumping on top of him, and he really needed a caffeine fix. Finally, his hand grazed a familiar container. Thank fucking god. Sweet, sweet coffee. The morning was starting to look up.
Only… something felt off.
Fuck. It was empty.
Clint dropped the useless container into the sink, which caused Lucky to come running into the kitchen, startled. Admittedly, it had been much louder than Clint had expected.
Clint sighed. Maybe Bruce would bring coffee with him when he got back. It would make up for the fact that Clint woke up alone. Mornings alone were becoming less and less frequent, and he found he could not complain. It was much nicer than waking up cold, for sure.
Except, of course, on mornings when he was up way too early.
Clearly, the best way to cope was to watch Dog Cops. With subtitles on, as Clint hadn’t been able to be bothered to put his hearing aids in yet.
He was halfway through his second episode, Lucky curled up next to him on the couch, when Bruce finally returned. There was not coffee in sight. Clint may have made an unsatisfied face that could have possibly resembled a pout. Not that he would ever admit to it.
Bruce greeted him with a kiss to the top of his head before disappearing into the bedroom. He returned with Clint’s hearing aids in hand. Patiently, he waited until Clint put them in before speaking. “You’re cute when you pout like that.”
“Bruuuuce. I’m not cute, I’m dying.” Clint complained, sagging even further down into the couch. For his part, Bruce just looked even more amused.
“Let me guess. Out of coffee?” A pathetic nod was all the answer he got. “I’m sure you’ll survive for a few hours until we get to the tower.”
“I don’t think I’m going to make it.” Clint was going to milk this melodrama for as long as he could dammit. Or at least until he got some dang coffee. “You’re going to have to explain to Cap that your boyfriend died of caffeine withdrawl.”
Bruce rolled his eyes. Clint would have been offended, but he was too tired to care. When Bruce sat down in the empty space on the couch, Clint instantly leaned into him. This was nice, he decided.
Clint was almost asleep when hands at his ears startled him awake. He quickly relaxed when he realized it was just Bruce taking care of him like he always did. Sleepiness washed over him again, and he didn’t fight it. He could always get coffee after his nap.

TimKon, #32 “This is, by far, the dumbest thing you’ve ever done.”
Tim did not expect the disaster that was his kitchen when he woke up that morning. He thought he was going to wake up to an arm around his middle and a sleeping dog curled at his feet. Instead, he got an empty bed and a commotion from outside the door.
In retrospect, he really shouldn’t have been that surprised at the mess when he woke up alone.
“This is, by far, the dumbest thing you’ve ever done.” He said, as he took in the mess that was the kitchen of the apartment he shared with Kon.
Kon pouted. “What, trying to cook for you?”
Tim was half tempted to say yes, but Kon wasn’t really that bad at cooking. “No, inviting Bart to help.” He settled on instead.
“Hey!” Bart complained, practically vibrating and covered in flower. Tim knew he couldn’t argue the point though. Bart always made a mess of any kitchen he was in. A brown blur of movement caught his eye.
“How the hell did you manage to get Krypto covered in coca powder?” Kon actually looked sheepish about that for a moment. Just a moment.
“He wanted to help.” Kon replied. Krypto barked in agreement.
“Kon, I know he has superpowers, but Krypto is still a dog, and dogs can’t cook.” Tim shook his head. Sometimes his boyfriend just didn’t think things through. He then noticed a distinct lack of any food in the kitchen.
“You’re gonna hurt his feelings.” Kon tried to insist, but the wagging of Krypto’s tail indicated otherwise. A pat to the head just made Krypto look even happier. Kon narrowed his eyes at the dog. “Traitor.”
“How about you three use that superspeed of yours to clean up, and then we’ll go out for breakfast.” Bart made a sound of dissapproval at being asked to clean, but Tim ignored it in favor of kissing Kon on the cheek before leaving the room to change.

JayRoy, #46 "I just need to be alone right now" Jason hadn't thought he'd end up here when he'd woken up this morning. This morning, he'd been outside Gotham, in his apartment, comfily tangled together with Roy, exchanging lazy morning kisses. This morning, they'd been throwing bits of overcooked pancakes at each other. This morning, he'd picked a fight with Damian with Roy at his side. And then he'd sacrificed himself to save his brothers. And Roy had been away, visiting Kori. So now he was standing outside one of Roy's many safehouses, one of them with a huge workshop, Roy's safe space, hoping he wouldn't be ignored. Taking a deep breath, Jason knocked loudly at the door. It remained closed for long enough thay he was about to walk away, but then Roy appeared. He looked angry, understandibly. Angry and sad and a little desperate. Jason hated himself a little for being the cause. "Jason." Not Jay, or Jaybird, or any other nickname thay Roy occasionally used. "Can I come in?" "No. I. I just need to be alone right now." Roy was about to close the door in Jason's face, but Jason reached over and stopped it. "Roy..." He pleaded. He would never say he begged, but it was close. "I thought you were dead, Jason. Again. Tim came by to tell me, he was distraught, blamed himself. Which, we both knew it wasn't his fault, because you are a self-sacrificing asshole." Roy guestures widely as he talked. Jason could tell he was itching to fiddle with his tech. "But then you texted me and expected everything to instantly be okay?" "We both know the risks of of our job, Roy." Jason tried to reason. "Yes, I know the risks, but let someone else face certain doom for once!" "I couldn't let either of them die. Tim's a good kid who has seen more than his share of shit in his life, even for a batkid. And Damian, well, he's kind of an ass, but he's just a kid, and he's family." Roy shook his head, looking defeated. God, Roy should never look like that. "I know. But they're not your only family. There are other people that care about you too. You seem to forget that." "I-" "Just leave me alone Jason." "I'm sorry." Jason didn't apologize for much but this. This was important. Roy sighed and kissed Jason on the cheek. "I'll call you tomorrow." He told him, before closing the door.

Hulkeye, #54 “I’m not good enough for you”
Clint was content and bruise-free for probably the first time in his life. He was captain of the archery team, his grades were better than just simply passing, and he had the sweetest, smartest boyfriend. So of course he had to go and mess it up.
“I’m not good enough for you.” Clint muttered into curly hair. It was a statement of fact, not something he really thought about but something that was always in the back of his mind. He felt Bruce stiffen and lift his head from his shoulder. Fuck. Did he really say that out loud?
“What are you talking about, of course you are.” Bruce looked sad. Aw, sad Bruce, no. Clint felt incredibly guilty for even saying anything. He decided he should just never be allowed to talk, ever. He should zip his lips and throw away the key. Clint looked away, towards the forgotten tv, and removed his arm from Bruce’s shoulders.
“We both know that’s a lie.” Bruce frowned at Clint’s conviction. He seemed to think about what he needed to say while he grabbed the remote and muted the tv.
“What brought this on?”
“Nothing. Everything. It’s just a fact Bruce. You’re going to graduate at the top of our class with two majors I can’t even begin to explain and I’m only even still here because of archery.” Clint tried to stop himself, but it all came rushing out. He’d never been good at keeping things from Bruce. It was all going to see the light eventually. Better now than before they got too serious.
“No one can use a bow as well as you. That trick you do with splitting an arrow? I still don’t think that should be physicslly possible. You don’t have to understand biochemistry, you have your own strengths.”
“I can’t even pay for half of our dates. And that’s not going to change any time soon. You’re gonna get hired by some fancy company right after graduation and I’ll be stuck working retail for the rest of my life.” If Clint was going to fuck over his own happiness, he had to at least make everything clear. He had to make Bruce understand.
“I don’t care about the money Clint. We don’t need to go out places. I just enjoy spending time with you.”
“I don’t even understand most of what you’re saying when you get really excited about your research. You deserve someone who understands you.” And that. That was the real kicker. Because no matter how much Clint cared for Bruce, he would never be able to understand his science. He could listen, sure, but it was like watching tv in another language, he could see the emotions, but at the same time he would have no clue what was going on.
“But what if I don’t want that.” Clint stared blankly for a moment. How could Bruce not want that.
“Then you’re misguided.”
“I love you, Clint Barton.” Bruce grabbed one of Clint’s hands in both of his, as if afraid that he would pull away. “Not some imaginary person who you think would be perfect for me.”
“You’re gonna regret it.” Clint sighed, but leaned into Bruce’s space again, head in his neck.
“I promise I won’t.”

TimKon, #96 “Here, let me”
Tim was terrified. After growing up fighting crime in Gotham, it wasn’t a feeling he was used to, but seeing Kon go down was enough to cause it.
Of course Tim knew that Kon could take a hit. He was practically bulletproof and had fallen from worse heights. But he was bleeding and the baddie of the week had kryptonite and no one had been prepared for that.
Tim wanted to rush over to where Kon had landed, but between them was a line of generic minions. Bart was doing what he could to thin it out.
One deep breath, two, and the panic was pushed under the surface. His control was flimsy at best. Tim didn’t let himself think outside of the context of combat. Feigned detachment was his saving grace and years of fighting alongside Bart meant that he didn’t need to speak.
Hit left, dodge right, it seemed a monotonous pattern. The battle felt like it took ages.
Eventually, it came down to two versus one. The guy with the kryptonite versus the greatest detective after Batman and the fastest teen alive.
Tim could feel his heartbeat. He wondered if Kon was awake to hear it.
So much for not thinking.
When the battle was finally truly over, Tim rushed over to where he thought he’d seen Kon fall. Bart beat him there, of course. Tim watched nervously as Bart helped Kon to his feet. He was alive at least, even if he was unsteady on his feet.
With Bart as his support, Kon met Tim almost halfway between them. Kon looked battered and bruised, but he would heal. Nothing was broken. It looked like most of the damage was light, he just needed time for the effects of the kryptonite to wear off.
“Here, let me.” Tim said to Bart, taking Kon from him.
Kon pressed a kiss to his temple. “I’m okay.”

JayRoy, #72 (You deserve so much better)
“You deserve so much better” Roy muttered as he carried a sleeping Lian to her bedroom. As much as it hurt, it was true. He wanted to give his daughter the world, but he was a recovering drug addict without a degree. Being a technological genius only got him so far and the on-and-off superhero/outlaw gig didn’t exactly pay well. As it was, Jason paid for the apartment. And the food. And–
Roy sighed and shook his head. Better to end that train of thought where it was.
Gently, so as to not wake Lian, Roy tucked her into bed and whispered goodnight. He was screwed up and he knew it, but at least he had this ball of sunshine in his life. He made sure to close the door silently as he left.
“She loves you.” Roy startled at the voice. He turned towards the couch to find Jason sitting there, still in his Red Hood getup, helmet and domino mask on the coffee table. Roy was surprised to see him home so early in the night. “You think she deserves better, but she adores you.”
“You heard that?” Roy questioned as he took the other end of the couch. Jason shook his head. The white streak detached from his otherwise styled hair and draped across his forehead. Roy reached over and brushed it back out of habit.
“No. I just know how you think.” He pulled Roy to his side. “She adores you and you would go to the ends of the earth for her. You’re already a better dad than Ollie and Bruce ever were.”
“Didn’t think you were the comforting type Jaybird.” Jason snorted at that. “But thanks.”

It’s exciting!” 64. “Talk to me.” 65. “Look at me—just breathe, okay?” 66. “Look, I don’t have much time, but I wanted to say I love you.” 67. “Oh my god! You’re in love with them!” 68. “Well, this is where I live.” 69. “We finish it the same way we started—together.” 70. “What are you afraid of?” 71. “You are the single best thing that has ever happened to me.” 72. “You deserve so much better.” 73. “You don’t have to stay.” 74. “You don’t know you the way I do.” 75. “You fainted, straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention, you didn’t have to go to such extremes.” 76. “You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.” 77. “You shouldn’t have even been there!” 78. “You weren’t supposed to hear that.” 79. “You’re safe now. I’ve got you.” 80. “Teach me?” 81. “We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you want to stop and feel the rain?” 82. “Looks like we’ll be stuck here for a while.” 83. “Just once.” 84. “I can’t believe you talked me into this.” 85. “It’s not what it looks like.” 86. “I got you a present.” 87. “Hey! I was gonna eat that!” 88. “See, now, what that so bad?”.” 89. “You’re the best part of me.” 90. “I don’t want to think about what I’d be like without you.” 91. “Can I hold your hand?” 92. “Let’s move in together.” 93. “It’s a real shame nobody asked for your opinion.” 94. “What time is it?” 95. “Just wait a second.” 96. “Here, let me.” 97. “You’re so cute when you pout like that.” 98. “Hold me back!’ 99. “I don’t care what they said, it doesn’t mean shit!” 100. “I adore you.”
