I did this sketch mostly as a way to practice anatomy, poses that convey body expression and a sense of movement, foreshortening, and varying line weights. It's not the greatest, but for what it is, I'm happy with the results.
It was also a lot of fun to colour too.
(Updated with "two colour cape" versions)
Also it turns out the best way to draw the Superman logo is to start with the basic shape of the shield and then draw in the negative spaces.

This is based on the character of the same name from Arthur Schnitzler's novella "Casanova's Homecoming". Her dress is directly based on a design by Robin Jacques from an illustrated edition of the book.
I'm an extreme novice when it comes to digital colouring that goes beyond flats and some basic gradients. This piece is essentially a practise run for rendering even simplistic depictions of light and shadows.

Same idea with this one.
The image on the left was done in Krita. The one on the right was done after converting the Krita image to a JPG format and adjusting the saturation and contrast levels.

Megatron based on his appearance from Transformers: Dark of the Moon. I specifically designed this piece to be a sort of parallel counter part to my earlier Optimus Prime fan art. The latter artwork on this post is actually a different coloured version of the one I had posted before.
The colours on both are dictated by a triad colour palette. Optimus' was red, blue and yellow & Megatron's was orange, purple and green.

Portrait of Jane Birkin.
This was as much as an attempt to practice inking hair as it was about trying to capture someone's likeness in a stylized manner.
Updated with coloured version.
