Hey everyone I'm Jeff. This is my tumblr, however you got here I hope you have fun. I am a writer, college student, and avid lover of good quotes, movies, books, and Magic: the Gathering. Follow me and be entertained. also ask me stuff.
Greetings all! The nameās Zubairul, and itās been a few months since I first made my entrance here on Tumblr! Iāve been playing Magic for more than half my life, met some cool people, and picked up some unique stuff along the way. Iāve met so many wonderful people in the time Iāve spent on this site, and today I thought Iād give back to the community in the best way I know! I know, it seems a bit soon for a giveaway, but I made a promise, and I intend to see it through!
I like to collect unique stuff in Magic (pimp foils just donāt cut it for me!), so I thought Iād try to set the theme as such!
You might ask, āwhy a giveaway at 240 followers?ā
Well, quite simply, I forgot to do this when I had 200 followers, and to make up for it, I added a couple extra cards to make up for that lost time.
As a lot of people might not be too familiar with some of the cards/miscuts/misprints here, I thought Iād give a brief description of each, so if you want to know more about the two prizes and see fancy closeups, you might wanna click open that āread moreā below!
Rules
Ah yes, rules, the thing that means I canāt play Splinter Twin in Modern anymore. Donāt worry though, these arenāt as horrible.
- This contest will end on May 15th, and Iām going to post the results through an online stream and on my Tumblr, so keep an eye out on the day of the prize draw!
- You gotta be a follower if you wanna participate, thems the brakes!
- One reblog = One entry, youāre free to reblog as much as you want, but only the first time counts!
- I can ship worldwide, but if its anything outside of Canada, and especially if itās the Sacred Foundry, weāre going have to work out something on partial shipping coverage from your end!
- Please have asks/PMs open so I can message you about winning and work out shipping!
- Last thing, if the winner of either prize doesnāt come forward to claim it within a week, Iāll do another redraw!
My life has been full of ups and downs recently. The downs have been coming from all around, but the ups have come from two places in particular; Magic and my friends. I want to celebrate both of those things, and what better way to do that than with theĀ āSuperfriendsā Archetype!Ā
Prizes:
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon-Fate Reforged
Tezzeret the Seeker-Shards of Alara
Windswept Heath-Khans of Tarkir
Ajani Vengeant-Shards of Alara
FOIL Deploy the Gatewatch-Eldritch Moon
I chose these cards for pretty obvious reasons. Ugin has proven to be a life-saver and a game ender for my own Superfriends deck, Tezzeret acts a second copy of any number of supporting artifacts (cough cough, The Chain Veil), and Ajani Vengeant is one I donāt currently play but Iāve seen other decks use him to great effect. This guy is house when used correctly! Deploy the Gatewatch has given me some of the most fun experiences Iāve ever had with the archetype, and I hope it finds its way to someone who can get a similar enjoyment from it. Finally, the Windswept Heath is included as a way to kickstart a potentially expensive mana base.

-I can only mail to folks in the United States! My condolences to my international friends out there.
To all the people I liked, thought I liked, I wanted to get to know, or wanted to get to know me: I'm sorry we weren't brave enough. We could have been amazing together.
I had an idea of sorts for a story today but the premise being so emotionally taxing and with finals and moving all this week I really don't think it's a good idea.
Wait, I think we're onto something, We can't run from fate, But we can let it take us down, Down this road, Where all our colors run together, Let's take the worst and make it better, Let's take this mess and make a home I know it gets hard for you to stay, But do you really want to throw it all away?
Give All To Love Give all to love; Obey thy heart; Friends, kindred, days, Estate, good-fame, Plans, credit, and the Muse,- Nothing refuse. 'Tis a brave master; Let it have scope: Follow it utterly, Hope beyond hope: High and more high It dives into noon, With wing unspent, Untold intent; But it is a god, Knows its own path, And the outlets of the sky. It was not for the mean; It requireth courage stout, Souls above doubt, Valor unbending; It will reward,- They shall return More than they were, And ever ascending. Leave all for love; Yet, hear me, yet, One word more thy heart behoved, One pulse more of firm endeavor,- Keep thee today, To-morrow, forever, Free as an Arab Of thy beloved. Cling with life to the maid; But when the surprise, First vague shadow of surmise Flits across her bosom young Of a joy apart from thee, Free be she, fancy-free; Nor thou detain her vesture's hem, Nor the palest rose she flung From her summer diadem. by Ralph Waldo Emerson

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf, So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay. by Robert Frost
