I really like it when you draw the imperiaz with horns it looks very nice

[late] BUT THANK YOU!! Out of all the e-teens, I felt the Imperiaz had the weakest design for aliens. So I wanted to spice up their looks a little. Got inspiration from plants and flowers, like a rose. Still trying to figure out their looks but slowly getting there :^D

So I’m currently working on my redakai ocs and I was wondering if you have any tips or advice on making redakai ocs?

First off I'm excited that you're making redakai ocs!! I can't wait to see what ya come up with! And second, yeah I can give ya some tips! It's nothing much but this is the stuff I thought about when I was making mine

[excuse my messy handwriting ahsj] Try to think how their personality is like on/off battle! How does their personality effect their fighting style? For example, Seo-Hyeon is shy and quiet off battle, however, when she's fighting, she's much more bold and competitive. She feels more comfortable fighting enemies since battling is her passion. It shows her true nature. However, she does tend to get reckless at times since she can get into battle too much. Thus she fights on without realizing she's wasting her kairu quickly.

As well as goals! Why is your oc a kairu warrior? What made them want to fight and learn about kairu? For example, my boy Naeem; he's a warrior because he wants represent his kingdom to other places. As well as negotiate with other royalty and figuring out ways to get connections for future purposes. Giving your ocs a goal can help shape them as a person

If your making an alien oc, have fun with the design! I try to base aliens off my surroundings [elements, animals, objects and so on] You can do a lot with them and as well as have fun with their species! For example one of my alien ocs Belanna; the gravity on her planet is much different than Earth's gravity. Her body is much lighter so she needs these boots that help her stick to the ground. You can also see where I got the E-teen alien designs based off too ha

Making your monster!! I'll be honest, I'm not that great with monster designs. I'm also trying to figure them out but I'll give ya some tips that help me. Again with the aliens, look at your surroundings. The monsters in redakai vary a lot so you can pretty much make anything. I like to either take something simple and play around with it. Like Colette's monster! It's just a cloud but I liked the idea with weather and played around with it having the cloud-like body. Or combine things! Seo's monster isn't finalized but the basic idea is her monster is a bear combined with metal. It's a weird combo but that's the point. I do suggest looking at monster designs from other places like shows or from other artist! It helps give ya ideas

Fashion!! The show's fashion isn't great [that's why I'm gonna revamp those characters outfits soon COUGH] So I try to look up cyberpunk outfits! I feel the show is kinda set in the future in a apocalyptic setting. As well as these kids are warriors, so I want them to wear outfits that are meant for fighting. I like using Pinterest since they have all types of outfits, I do admit it's hard to find fashion for guys so it's a bit of a challenge. But try to think what your ocs would like to wear! Do they like showing skin? Or do they cover up a lot? Also are they fashionable or wear garbage attire? Fashion can really speak a lot for a character.

I hope this helped! Again I'm not the best at explaining things or giving advice so I did my best for these tips to make sense. Anyways good luck on making those ocs!!

What do you think about team hiverax?

I did not like them. One, they replaced team Battacor and I was M A D. How dare they take away my dumb jocks for these losers?? Was not happy. Two, they're boring. I don't like their designs and personality. I hated when they finished each other's sentences, it was annoying every time. I didn't enjoy any episodes they were in [except when they were with team radikor. But I only liked those episodes cause of them, not team hive] I just,,, did not like them... They were the reason I didn't enjoy season 2 so much since they took up most of the focus,,,

Which one of all the teams in the show is your favorite?

first season goes to the jocks. I have a soft spot for these dumb idiots, they made me laugh and personally had more interesting alien design [for the show at least] However, I was sad that they didn’t return :((( So my fav team in season 2 was-

They had the most conflict they faced and were the ones I personally enjoyed a lot in this season. I love how they work off on another, always makes me chuckle [I also enjoyed them in the first season too]

It's only Zair. Team Battacor and Imperiaz don't notice it, and team radikor just don't care [except for Zair obviously]

Zair loves to tease them a lot about it and gets every chance she can get to mock them
