In the imaginary casmick AU, I can imagine that Mick calls Cas all sorts of general pet names, like 'love', 'darling' or 'sweetheart'.

One day he accidentally calls him 'angel ' as an endearment, to which Cas (somewhat confused) replies by calling Mick 'human ', but just as fondly.

It becomes their dumb little inside joke, and makes them both smile every time it happens.

Dean hates it.

Some random headcanon that absolutely would have happened in the secret, good SPN if Mick had survived:

In the middle of a case, Mick makes a bet with Dean that he can get a translation of a dead language in less than a minute.

Dean, thinking Mick has some dumb translation technology, agrees, thinking it's impossible.

Mick immediately, and without breaking eye contact, hands it to Cas who translates it easily.

Dean blue screens.

Cas is oblivious, already back on candy crush.

Sam also has to take a minute because he too had forgotten, and has been doing complicated translations...by hand...for years.

Winning the bet, Mick gets a room by himself instead of sharing.

I'm now at the age where my friends are all married, and at every single one of their weddings, without fail, the last song played at the reception afterwards was Bohemian Rhapsody.

And it was one of the few unifying songs that had every generation from the grandparents down to the (very over tired) toddlers, on the dance floor, start to end. Lyrics belted out, hair banging, air guitars, harmonies by the dozen. Everyone having the time of their lives, if only for a few minutes.

The entire wedding party, and guests, at every single one of my friends weddings.

No, but like seriously.

Jimmy Novak is a confirmed family man with a serious lack of impulse control and forethought, but with an overabundance of stubbornness.

Cas is canonically uncontrollable by God, hEaViLy influenced by other people's perception of him, and full of guilt regarding the Novaks.

All I'm proposing is after some tiny off-hand comment from Claire (in the sexy fanon SPN where nobody died shitty deaths) Cas casually strolls into Jack's new heaven, and because of how guilty he feels for destroying the Novak family, asking Jimmy if he wants to see his daughter again. Making up for getting him killed and ripping his family apart by literally jail breaking him out of heaven (once again co-occupying the vessel like they did originally).

Then trying to keep it from not only Heaven and Jack, but also Dean (something tells me Sam would be 100% down for this, as the chaotic duo energy of Sastiel besties just kills me).

All I'm saying is we missed out on serious Jimmy and Cas chaos.
