You knew what you got yourself into when you got into a relationship with the pro-hero. The late nights, the early mornings, along with work being put first before anything. You made the promise that you would stay by Bakugou's side no matter how hard it gets and how frustrating things get, but you also thought with you giving birth to his first child he would change just a little bit for the baby. You went back and forth in your mind about what you want to do to improve but it dont work like that when the other person isn't trying to improve. You thought about a marriage counselor but that last conversation didn’t end very well.

Sitting in the slightly dim living room fiddling with your wedding ring. The ring that meant so much but now it feels as if it is burning you. The front door starts to jingle signaling you Bakugou is home. You know that this conversation was bound to happen at some point but you were never mentally prepared for it because a child was involved and you care too much to give up so easily. You heard Bakugou come in close and lock the door behind him and toss his key onto the console table by the door. You take a shaky deep breath and stand in the middle of the living room as Bakugou walks in, planting a kiss on your forehead. “ We need to talk about something Katsuki.” Bakugou pulls back looking down at you with an unreadable emotion. “ You coming home so late and leaving before sunrise without a trace of you being home isn’t right” your back away from Bakugou. “I know you care about being a hero but you also have to be a husband and father. I clean and cook and you still manage to come home and not acknowledge the plate left in the refrigerator for you after every night.” You protested. “Exactly cook, clean and care for the child while I'm out risking my left every time I walk out that door.” “ I know you risk your life every single day but what about me, what about our child Katsuki? She barely sees you. When was the last time she saw you in person? and not on television. I bet you don’t even know that she started sitting up on her own or the fact that she attempts to carry her own bottle. What do you have to say about that?” Bakugou knew what you said was right but his pride didn’t let him admit it out loud. “I don’t have time for this. Till you get your straight  I'm leaving.” Bakugou says as he turns around heading towards the door. “I swear to god Katsuki Bakugou if you walk out that door, that’ll be the last you see of us and that is a promise.” Bakugou scoffs and continues towards the door mumbling the words “ I hardly believe that” as the door slam shut rattling the pictures along the walls.

As you watch Bakugou walk out the house back into the cold, a sick feeling wash over you and the thought of leaving is the only thing on your mind to do before he comes back. Tears roll down your face as you walk to your shared bedroom packing a few essential things to last you till you figure out what to do next. You write a quick letter to Bakugou, leaving it on your nightstand next to your family picture and your wedding ring. You pick up your bag and walk to the baby room grabbing another bag and stuffing diapers, clothes, formulas and a few toys, throwing them into the bag without a second thought.

It was the next morning and Bakugou found himself walking through the front door  of his home looking for you to apologize for his behavior and everything that has happened with your favorite flowers in hand. Peeking in the kitchen to see it clean with you nowhere in sight. ‘Maybe she is still asleep.’ Walking towards the bedroom door he peers in looking around to find the bed made and a few of your personal belongings gone. Spotting a piece of paper left on his nightstand he sat the flowers down on the bed and picked up the ring and the paper reading. ‘Dear Katsuki, my love with us is growing apart and you barely being around. I made the decision to do what's best for me and the baby by leaving. What broken i tried to fix but you never seemed like you care enough to fix it. Tears running down his face landing on the piece of paper still clenched in his hand as he realized an important part of his life just walked away.
