my experience living with only men (just in the last week) that will un-romanticize the detective living at the warehouse with m!ub:

- one of them filled the freezer with like 20 rotten bananas. i think he thought it would stop them from going any worse but now they’re literally black and slimy and rock hard (and i know in my heart i’m going to have to clean it up).

- i’ve learned that men will really just rip the nastiest burp right in the middle of a sentence and move on like absolutely nothing happened. EXCUSE ME?

- one of them grunts like a caveman 24/7. he grunts when he opens doors and he grunts when he blows his nose and he grunts so fucking loud on the toilet that you can hear it across the apartment. (when i inquired about this phenomenon to one of the other roommates i was duly informed that some men can’t help but make noise while using the bathroom because it hits their prostate. i wanted to perish.)

- aggressive, unpredictable shouting in their rooms at random intervals (???)

- horny. foul. i won’t expand on this.

- one of them wanted to decorate the kitchen for halloween and this was how he hung the lights. he stood there looking at it with his hands on his hips like a dad
