Pyro kids and the Cavalry Captain 

My heart was blessed last week when i found a post about how Bennett canonically sees Kaeya as a big brother. 

It made me realise how he is a brother figure to all the young Pyro users in Mondstadt and I had to be sappy and draw them all being happpyyyyy <3 <3.  

(Amber is more a headcanon, but i see Kaeya lookin out for her even though he likes to tease her, they definitely care for each other ya know.)

some random ideas for the seamonster Childe x pirate Kaeya lets gooooOO 

Lil disclaimer, a lot of my rambles are heavily inspired by @catwillscream s story on ao3 but since i dont know what they are planning with the story i let my mind run a bit :'). I'd definitely recommend reading the fic its so goooood!! Id feel bad claiming all of these ideas are my own so credit to their story!!

Pirate tales spread of a gigantic whale like monster terrorizing the ships at sea. It is said to be big enough to crash ships with a whack of its tail, most of the shipwrecks would be found with gigantic holes as if they were pierced by mountains.                                                                      But tales are just tales and no one has ever caught the gigantic beast or lived long enough to get a good look at it.

Childe is said sea monster who mostly wrecks ships out of boredom / is keeping ships out of his territory.

He came from the dept of the ocean and is now roaming around the seas.

He can grow up to 5 times his normal size (foul legacy bby). His regular form is just human sized with a pretty long tail.

His actions caused a lot of pirates / bounty hunters to go try and hunt down the beast in hope of bringing home to glory of “killing the beast”. Even if he is just a myth.

For Kaeya I had more ideas some more extra than others, either way:

He is a prince from a nation far away from the sea,

He wants to run-away, either because of an arranged marriage or maybe because of something more mysterious thats happening to him: he always had a certain longing for the sea but was forbidden to ever go there (something about the abyss maybee??) 

He saw a chance to escape and took it, he ran-away to join the first ship he could find and sailed away. 

Climbing up the ranks he is now co-captain/ quartermaster on his ship and is making quite a name for himself. 

Rumours do start to spread about him being a run-away prince, with a bounty on his head for whoever could bring him home. 

Either his right eye is a symbol of his royalty or it’s a magical thing that connects him to the deep sea. Maybe he is like a key to the abyss portal from which Childe was able to slip out of it. So pirate eyepatch it is. 

They either meet :

during a gigantic storm with Kaeya falling of the ship,   

Kaeya’s ship being in combat with another ship and Childe saving him,          

or,, Childe is the one causing the ship to sink but while watching the wreckage he sees someone that pulls him right in. A certain call that tells him to save that person, bring him to a nearby island and find out who he is.

When kaeya wakes up he meets Childe in his regular (smaller)form and just assumes he is like a merman? Kinda strange but not too weird. (Can Childe talk??? Hopefully)  A la the little mermaid he does not have legs (yet?)  Kaeya would tease him by running too far onto land so that Childe either has to crawl all the way towards him or just scream in annoyance till he comes back. They spend some time together around the island.                  * Insert romantic flirting shenanigans. *   

I’d see how Kaeya, assuming childe is just some merman, thinks he is pretty vulnerable against hunters and decides to stay close to him, returning the favor of saving him, but when they enter a dangerous situation and Childe grows into an enormous beast to save him again and Kae is like:

 “I have been flirting with the sea beast this whole time?!?! Oh..”

Whats happening after that ehmm, no idea yet

Doodle of my team comp after i pulled Childe! I had him fight monsters in my world at lvl1, he is turning into a real killing machine now that im actually lvling him. 

I love thinking about them as a traveling party and what their dynamics would be like so I made a lil chart :D

Poetry  homework

oKAY I GOTTA BE HONEST: I made this after the first act of the Windblume festival.

I just wanted to draw two of my favourite boys doing their homework together with ‘Sweet-talking sugar-coated’ Captain Kaeya straight up chilling while ‘unlucky clumsy’ Bennett has a hard time writing his love poem.

But boy was I wrong.. 

In the end Bennett turned out to be a VERY good poet while Kaeya is just being cryptic, SO UNROMANTIC </3

I really was messing around with colouring for this piece but im not mad!
