SPOILERS FOR TMAGP 11 BELOW!

This episode was INSANE, but there's one thing in particular that caught my eye!

This episode revolved around water. The incident itself references the ocean, sailing, and drowning many times, and Celia says that her radiator started leaking and flooded her lounge when she ran into the office late.

More curiously, in the beginning of the episode when Celia wakes up outside, she says "hold on, Jack, I'm on my way."

Now I went through every TMAGP episode, and from what I gathered, there is no character named Jack, so I checked for characters in TMA. (I know some people think its wrong to cross reference TMA when it comes to TMAGP, but we know Celia is from that universe so I think it's fair in this case)

What I found was multiple characters named Jack, but one in particular caught my head.

"A young man named Jack tried to leap overboard. When he caught the lad, there was such begging and pleading as you’ve never heard, just to let them drown, allow the sea to take its due. But he just laughed and laughed, and Jack died on land as he had always been meant to."

Doesn't that sound STRIKINGLY similar to the incident we just heard?

I know original projects rarely do well on tumblr but I still want to introduce a project I just started working on. Its mythology meets Cryptids meets Arthurian legend meets a summer camp in the mid 90s. I’m still deep in the development phase for the overall story arc but Im writing a short story within the world for a class right now (go art school!).

It’s going to be two webcomic style episodes, Ive always wanted to make a webtoon so Im super excited! This is a wip of a promotional illustration featuring the main characters Merlot (left) and Guinea (right). I hope you guys like them :)
