I truly wonder if this person read the decision. I would be fascinated to hear what their legal theory is about this. The court decided this on what seems to me to be pretty stable constitutional law grounds. If there is a strong backlash against the Court here, I feel like it should be grounded in the law, but I have yet to see anyone tearing into the Court's opinion here (except for people who agree with the concurrences, like I do, but the split between the concurrence and the holding is not really relevant to 'stealing the election' at the moment).

Do not try to articulate what other people think. Do not try and use their argument to inspect the validity of your own. Do not analyze, do not empathize, do not understand - or you're going to be a LIAR and ABUSER just like THEM! I think it is super important to just decide that what someone is saying is evil without analyzing it or inspecting the argument by trying to use it to argue a point. If I think something is bad, it is bad, and that's as far as I need to go.

This is one of the dumbest takes of all time. The Houthis shot a missile at American citizens, some of whom were BIPOC. We all hate American imperialism, but imagine being so completely checked out that you think that a country can't describe something as self-defense because it is too far away. I'm so glad all my rights as a citizen of my country disappear once I get on a boat. Phew! Damage to shipping through the Red Sea directly contributes to the increase of prices, the rise of unemployment, and the reduction in the budget for social spending across the board - all things with have outsized effects on BIPOC populations in the United States. Wanting American shipping to suffer is to want BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ people to suffer and die.
