Blinded by the flashing lights and deafened by the music blasting from the speakers, Atem laughed as he jumped to the beat with everyone else. He felt great as he held Yami’s hand, rose them above their heads like the entire club did and it felt like old times again. His new outfit glittered in the flashing lights and Yami laughed with him as they jumped, before the music was silenced with the arrival of the chorus, but the entire club sang it for the DJ instead. The one word spilled from hundreds of lips to which the song was cranked up to a hundred again while everyone cheered. “Atemlos!” Atem screamed with everyone else as they were beckoned to do so again by the DJ and he laughed as it filled him with a thrill he hadn’t felt in years. He didn’t even know what he was singing because he didn’t know the language, but he was having fun as he danced to the beat and felt Yami’s hand in his. As he felt safe with the only alpha that could make him feel so and as a slow song came on, the treated the other man to a drink. He saw people kissing as they stood near the bar and a tremble went through him as he wished Yami would kiss him so, before he shook the thought from his mind and laughed with his best friend instead. He laughed because he had the good times back he had missed so much and when another song came on, he danced again. Danced with joy as he laughed and held Yami’s hand in his. He couldn’t lose him… Not again…

I has this weird ass vivid dream I need to write off my chest but it will be below the cut because I don't want to scare people. Though if you do read it, I'd like to know if you have experienced the falling up feeling too? It was my first time and I am not liking it.

So, I was being followed by three kids after cycling through the rain, but I couldn't find my door in this huge apartment complex. Body wouldn't run, so I nope'd out. Made myself wake up.

So, sometimes when I do, I fall down. Like, as if you're falling back into your body? I did that. Knew I wasn't awake yet. Struggled with the images in this new dark dream wherein the lights wouldn't turn on (my cue to know I'm dreaming).

So, I fell again and then I 'fell' up. It didn't feel like rising, it still felt like falling somehow. I screamed I didn't want to fall asleep again and then I woke up. Turned the light on immediately which worked.

I beg whomever is up there to please never let me 'fall' up again.
