It's that time---Feed Eddie Thursday!

Allergies are kicking in. Break is halfway done--but I've enjoyed seeing all the blooming flowers and hanging out with sis around the city. Don't want to know how I'll be Sunday night *shhh*

I'm thinking of my next 5 buddie fic recs to add to my post. Also, I have to update my demi!eddie fic post (have to find it and add some fics there!)

On the job front, didn't get a response from the job I applied to... and seriously Indeed depresses me every time I go there.

It was supposed to a fleeting emotion(s)... normal adolescent, hormone driven impetuousness. Then it was theirs alone. No one could touch them, tarnish the beauty of innocence and discovery. Heart of Flowers/Heart of Gold

Since we're all back on our sniper arc nonsense, here is the very first thing I ever wrote for the Buddie fandom in the hiatus between s4 and 5. Complete with a new little rewrite for the ending because that part always bothered me especially after 5B and now I fixed it. 😘💕

You okay, Buckley?”

No. No is the only word in his head. Nothing else. No over and over again. It can’t be happening. He’s not okay. What sort of a question is that? No, no, no, he’s not okay. Nothing is okay.

There’s blood on his hands, on his face, his crisp white shirt. It’s sticky and smells like suffering and dying and it’s on his tongue. In his mouth, down his throat, in his body in a way it should not be because it’s not his. It’s not his, it doesn’t belong to him and it’s not supposed to be all over. It was sprayed and gushing and spilled all over the street, and it is not okay.

His hands are shaking. Everything’s blurry. There was a rush and a panic and frantic seconds that were both too fast and not fast enough. But what now? Adrenaline is a thing. It’s working, rushing through him, but there’s nothing he can do. He can’t breathe. How is he supposed to breathe? His heart is beating because it’s pounding and screaming against a cage inside him. But it’s ripped open. Bleeding onto pavement like a gunshot wound.

He’s not okay.

Wednesday is here... Plan for the day: Central Park Zoo. Next, we plan to go to MoMI tomorrow, and on Friday we want to go to Brooklyn's Botanic Gardens (we've never been there, and of course to see the cherry bloom.) On the weekend, we want to visit the vivarium at the Natural History Museum. We checked the DC cherry bloom cam and it's not currently happening so we're not going. We're staying local, it's cheaper and we get to visit old/new stuff our city provides---so we're indoor tourist-y.

How is everyone's week going? Any writing (I wrote some buddies mini-ficlets here)? Any buddie fic recs? How about cover requests? @fortheloveofbuddie
