My second remake of a work by Beksiński. I love doing Ghost Beksiński crossovers so much, this certainly isn't my last.

I made this because today I was unable to make any progress on the commissions, a complete block, so I let off steam on this piece of work I'd left on hold in my WIP files.

Masters of the Air, my beloved pain, my persisting task -- I love soldier protagonists but the entire Eighth Air Force organism as the main character is making this really arduous

#masters of the air #hbo war #lol it's not HARD like difficult but man... there are so many men #so many details #so many airfields #so many targets #so many individuals all with their little stories #in that sense Miller gives this huge map-scale history instead of a bombsight-focused narrative #i mean. it's nonfiction and this is how war literature typically is #I am just trying my best here. my love for the history is getting me through #i do really enjoy the individual stories
