RWBY x Justice League
No this is not a post claiming that I had the idea first, considering all I have are character profiles and a brief snippet of two characters from DC comics, this is a post airing my comments regarding the RWBY and Justice League crossover.
I will start with the story element that breaks the rules set by the RWBY show, and that’s Wonder Woman.
Diana Prince
Supposedly, Diana was built using all three of the four elements, earth, sacred water, heat from the sun, and the fires from below. You’d think with Penny’s existence, this is possible.
Penny was only possible because she was made machine first with the added component of a soul from her creator, Pietro. Diana however, was made from clay, from materials that can’t be moved separately without breaking, even with external forces.
I guess one could argue that Diana’s existence is also possible if the people in her island provided small amounts of their souls to inhabit an inanimate clay just as Pietro did for Penny.
I still say that Clay Diana still lacks many qualities that made Penny possible. (mainly limb articulation)
And that is not mentioning that as far as I know, Diana has no color association at all,
But then again Prince does - either purple or gold, the colors of royalty.
Even then, what is Diana’s semblance? She more like has a variety of weapons that are imbued with different properties, because if that’s her semblance works, needed a specific item to activate them, then’ it’s a semblance without utility, or is her semblance calling them?
It’s probably the worst semblance out there.
Next up is Clark Kent.
Straight up, and yes Clark has an association with color - Scribe and I can only describe it as “light gray” or a “dull light blue”.
Kent also has an association with color - Coastal land.
For Clark, we’re talking about his semblance.
It’s basically a downgraded version of the maidens.
The downplayed version, at least, sounds like a downgrade of the maiden’s powers, which should only be available to four different individuals like how is Clark having all of this?
Even then, he shows his flight capabilities right as the chapter ends, semblances aren’t that overpowered, even with the claim that it evolved, the most OP semblance out there are the Schnee hereditary semblance and Glynda’s telekinesis (is it really telekinesis when the show, shows how it can reverse the damage?)
I’ve only read Chapter’s 1 to 4 and the last characters remaining is Bruce.
Bruce Wayne
Bruce, according to Wikipedia, is associated with Willows, but that’s dubious at best.
Wayne is associated with wood/brown, because Wayne means wagon builder or driver.
Bruce is the only character, apart from his name, that I have no problem with considering he doesn’t break the supposed rules the show has with it’s characters, like Diana’s creation or Clark’s semblance.

Lloyd Irving - Character Profile
Name: Lloyd Irving
Franchise: Tales of Symphonia – Tales of
Type of Media: Video Games
Age: 19
Race: Human (Faunus mother and Human father)
Occupation: Mercenary
Affiliation: A small village on the outskirts of Anima, far away from the Kingdom of Mistral
Semblance: N/A (at least not yet)
Color Association: Grey
Weapon: Flamberge and Cocytus Blades [He dual wields them.]
Other Gadgets: Two hard-light Dust Crystals.
Background Story: Lloyd was found as a baby in the hands of his dying mother by a blacksmith. Faunus blacksmith raised Lloyd as his own before he was banished by the village for something he had done.
Lloyd gained one of his hard-light Dust crystal when his adoptive father gave it to him. It was actually embedded to his mother when he found him and his dying mother.
Lloyd decided to embed the Dust crystal on his hand, with the help of his adoptive father’s blacksmith skills, they were able to safely embed the crystal on Lloyd’s hand.
He became a mercenary after he went on a journey with his friends, destroying faunus ranches left and right and freeing the enslaved faunus inside. He had encountered a mercenary that took to prioritizing him over anyone else.
This certain mercenary gifted Lloyd one hard-light Dust crystal. Who then taught him to use his aura to shape the light that the Dust crystals emit. Hence using it to attack with a lion head.

Team Rock - Backstory
As Raimundo, Clay and Kimiko was assembled to the temple by their master, Fung. Omi made it his mission to teach and “newbies” in the ways of being Huntsman Templar. (their version of a Xiaolin) and proclaimed himself their teacher.
And that was met with various levels of indifference. The three newcomers largely ignored Omi or at the very least, follow him when Fung was there. It was’t for lack of trying but with Omi’s sexist and condescending attitude, the three of them opted to tune the small boy than humor him only to be faced with insults left and right.
With Fung’s urging, the three opened up to Omi and mildly understood why the boy was like that. He’s like the younger brother who doesn’t want the attention placed on him to disappear.
Raimundo, Clay and Kimiko learned to tune out Omi’s insult and learned to work well with him, despite the many times he has ruined things for them.
As part of their training in the temple, Raimundo’s team were tasked with protecting nearby villages from the threat of the Grimm, villages that severed their ties with the Mistrali kingdom.
Not long before their last few weeks in the temple and a few days after Raimundo has been named leader of their team by way of Master Fung’s judgement they embarked on two separate rescue missions.
One mission lead to them battling a horde of Grimm that surrounded the village. Which lead them to meeting someone affectionately named Ping Pong.
Omi actually saved Ping Pong when the little boy wandered in the battle field, trying to find his parents.
Another mission lead them near the Kingdom of Vale. They were actually tasked to defend a village that was far away from the Kingdom of Vale and the Kingdom in question couldn’t spare even a single team of Huntsmen and Huntresses in training to protect them.
This lead to them saving someone named Jermaine, who like Ping Pong, wandered to the battlefield, but for completely different reasons.
Jermaine’s reasons were however saving someone else entirely, one of his friends who was trapped in the battlefield.
Team ROCK maintained contact with Jermaine and Ping Pong, especially Omi, and offered his own brand of advise and training. The team also maintained communication lines with their Master and help him in any way they can.
Granted that the Headmaster would grant their request.
They were instrumental in hiding a lot of injured Huntsmen and Huntresses into the temple where they once trained when they realized someone was picking on professional huntsmen and huntresses one by one.,

Raimundo Pedrosa - Character Profile
Name: Raimundo Pedrosa
Franchise: Xiaolin Showdown/Xiaolin Chronicles
Type of Media: Animated Series
Age: 17
Occupation: Student
Affiliation: Haven Academy/Team ROCK
Semblance: Focused Accuracy - He can calm his mind and accurately pinpoint the enemy’s weakness. Also when he’s firing projectiles, he never misses, not unless his target moves.
Color Association: Green
Weapon: Lucida Storm - A one handed sword that houses Wind Dust Crystals that lets him fire wind-based projectiles at the enemy when spun and/or swung in any direction.
Other Gadgets: Boots equipped with Gravity Dust Crystals, which gives him the ability to fly.
Background Story: Raimundo comes from a performing family in the Kingdom of Mistral. They performed all sorts of shows, from acting in theaters to a circus performance in tents.
He was then scouted by a person he affectionately calls “Master Fung” which prompted him to move out of the Kingdom and train in the mountainous parts of the continent of Anima.

Name: Clay Bailey
Franchise: Xiaolin Showdown/Xiaolin Chronicles

Affiliation: Haven Academy/Team ROCK
Semblance: Surface Break - His semblance enables him to break any type of surface whenever he punches them. Be it walls, the ground, the pavement and whatnot.
Color Association: Brown
Weapon: Tebigong’s Gauntlets - Gauntlets that fire off Earth Dusts when punched in the air, Like say big rocks chucked at the enemy.
Other Gadgets: Boots equipped with Gravity Dust Crystals, which gives him the ability to fly.
Background Story: Clay’s family resided outside the Kingdom of Mistral raising cattle as a livelihood. They survived the grimm infested outside world of Anima because most of the Bailey family members were retired huntsmen and huntresses..
Same as Raimundo, Team ROCK’s team leader, he was scouted by someone the entire team affectionately called “Master Fung”.
The Baileys did object at first but they were won over by the fact that the temple where Clay would train can be considered a combat school and would help Clay in becoming a huntsman and sooner help defend their cattle farm from the forces of Grimm.

Kimiko Tohomiko - Character Profile
Name: Kimiko Tohomiko
Franchise: Xiaolin Showdown/Xiaolin Chronicles
Type of Media: Animated Series
Age: 17
Occupation: Student
Affiliation: Haven Academy/Team ROCK
Semblance: Elongation - It makes any non moving thing she infuses with aura flexible and elongated. She oftentimes gives them to Clay who has more experience using a lasso than she is. She mainly uses her semblance to warp logs and rocks and make barriers.
She also uses her semblance on a few of her arrows and use those elongated arrows as a grappling device.
Color Association: Purple
Weapon: Kagustsuchi - A Crossbow with 12 arrows coated with Fire Dust loaded into the chambers. Using the crossbow and two arrows coated with Fire Dust she makes her crossbow into a Flame-coated pair of Tonfas.
Other Gadgets: Boots equipped with Gravity Dust Crystals, which gives her the ability to fly.
Background Story: Kimiko was the daughter of a very successful Mistrali businessman. As such, she had the privilege of traveling back and forth to Atlas. She oftentimes alpha-tests her father’s products before they even go through the normal Alpha-testing process.
Same as Raimundo, Team ROCK’s team leader, she was scouted by someone the entire team affectionately called “Master Fung”.
Kimiko’s father gave her a farewell gift, it was the weapon she had the most fun testing, Kagustsuchi, the bow and arrow she had so much fun using.
A few months into training with the rest of Team ROCK under Master Fung’s tutelage, her father visited the temple and gifted her and her friends with Boots equipped with Gravity Dust crystals.
Suffice to say, that they gained more leverage against the grimm as they themselves can fly.

Occupation: Student
Affiliation: Haven Academy/Team ROCK
Semblance: Tiger Instinct. He can dodge most attacks coming at him, even when blindfolded. As a result he’s innocently arrogant.
Other Gadgets: Boots equipped with Gravity Dust Crystals, which gives him the ability to fly.
Color Association: Blue
Weapon: Tornami Shimo - A staff that can shoot ice projectiles at the enemy through the Ice Dust Crystal it contains. It can extend its length, the maximum length is twice Clay’s Height.
Other Gadgets: Boots equipped with Gravity Dust Crystals, which gives him the ability to fly.
Background Story: Omi had stayed in the temple all his life. He didn’t even got to know his mother. All he knew was that he was left at the temple’s gateway, abandoned.
Ever since he became conscious of his surroundings and actions, he trained to be a Xiaolin Huntsman ever since and all with the guidance of the temple’s master, Master Fung.
He soon encountered Kimiko, Clay and Raimundo, whom he had an antagonistic relationship with, claiming to be the “master” as the four of them trained together under Master Fung’s tutelage.

Semblance: Momentum Rage - Every time Gladio takes a hit, his speed and strength gets a boost. He can deliver powerful and fast blows when he’s hit four consecutive times, but once activated, his aura defenses are low.
His semblance also has a time limit, which he can expand through with training, but still on a time limit. Currently he can maintain his rage mode for four minutes.
The upside is that, his speed also gets a boost so he can land consecutive blows when in rage mode and he’s in control of his actions.
Color Association: Light Pink
Weapon: Magnum Protega - A Great Sword that can turn into a shield. His sword-shield can also has Dust chambers that contain Dust crystals that puts an elemental attribute on his sword every time he strikes an enemy.
Other Gadgets: Shield sheath. Its Magnum Protega’s sheath that can also expand to a shield.
Background Story: Gladiolus, affectionately named Gladio, has been trained to protect a young boy, two years his junior, at a young age. The boy in question would turn out to be his team leader.
He was also in charged of training said boy to be competent in fighting, and a lot of weapons.
One day while saving a village from a massive Grimm Attack that put his charge into a coma. He was guilty and distraught at failing at his one job that he was the first one to take off from the team.
He, like the rest of his team, are waiting for their buddy to wake up from a coma.

Name: Prompto Argentum

Semblance: Accurate Shots - Prompto uses his semblance to assist from afar as he can easily pinpoint and shoot any enemy’s weak point and/or weaknesses. There’s a drawback tho, it consumes his aura a lot faster.
Color Association: Silver
Weapon: MT - A pair of pistols that’s loaded with different Dust Crystals
Other Gadgets: Camera. Prompto’s hobby is taking pictures so he has his handy-dandy camera with him. It’s also a great piece for distraction, flash the enemy with lights and he can make a quick escape.
Background Story: Prompto wasn’t this always thin, he was a plump kid who got motivated to exercise and eat healthily so he can be introduce himself to someone to this person. One of his best-buddies.
He was on a team but after saving a village from a Massive Grimm attack, his friend and team leader fell into a coma and that’s how the team were separated and here he was now.
Now Prompto is acting like a freelancing huntsman as he traveled to places outside of the kingdoms and protect them from the Grimm, with his semblance and all around ability with any kind of gun, he can strike down any Grimm and stop the attack before it even happens.
He, like the rest of his team, are waiting for their buddy to wake up from a coma.

Jack Frost - Character Profile
Name: Jackson Overland Frost
Franchise: Rise of the Guardians/Guardians of Childhood
Type of Media: Animated Movie/Book Series
Age: 17
Occupation: Student
Affiliation: Atlas Academy
Semblance: N/A
Color Association: Sky Blue
Weapon: Twinetender - A staff equipped with Ice Dust Particles and an Ice Dust Crystal. It shoots ice from the staff’s crown. The staff itself can separate into three parts, a pair of eskrima sticks and the third part, the crown, can be used as a knuckle extension and deal a ice-powered punch.
Other Gadgets: His Blue Hoddie has a mini compartment that houses fire Dust particles to keep him warm in times of cold and in the Kingdom of Atlas,its always.
Background Story: While playing with his little sister in a frozen pond, he saved her from falling in the very cold lake by taking her place. He was thankfully saved a few moments later when his sister came back running to their house and asked for help.
Jack was diagnosed with severe Hypothermia that he had to be taken to a hospital for further medication. Thankfully he recovered right before he was admitted to Atlas Academy.
As a student, he was non-chalant. Sometimes rule-breaking but he always thinks that its worth it. Specialist Schnee finds him irritating as he was always found “slacking off” and by slacking off, just doing fun activities.
Despite Jack’s fun-loving nature, he always turned in exemplary work that none of the teachers at Atlas bothered to correct his behaviour, even his team seem to tolerate him.
Jack is the life and the fun in his team and nothing can change that.
