Last Movie: just streamed The Nice Guys last night, which was a fun movie.

Currently reading: Persepolis, the graphic novel written by a woman who grew up in Iran during the revolution. It has echoes of what is happening today as the government is cracking down on its protesting citizens. It’s a great read. Highly recommend.

Currently consuming: a mandarin orange and some seaweed crackers

Currently craving: hmmm, Thai? Either a good Massaman curry or some Miang Kham.

Three ships: only 3?! that’s no fair ;-; Alright, okay, um. I’ll go with Superbat, kakavege and destiel. These (and like three others) are the ships I always return to no matter how much time passes. 

First ever ship: I think it was kakavege, because I saw Dragon Ball z as a pre-teen-ish, while I started Batman (and later Superman and the Justice League cartoons) as a very small child and didn’t really ship anyone before I got older. 

Last song: Devils don’t fly by Natalia Kills 

Last movie: I haven’t actually watched movies in months and months but then my sister sat me down to watch A Strange World yesterday. A nice movie, in case you’re wondering :)

Currently reading: nothing, nothing, nothing. I mean, yeah, I’m rereading a few of my favorite mangas on-off but my brain is being a jerk and won’t let me read any books or longer fics, so I’m not currently reading anything. 

Currently consuming: Iced tea, peach flavored, in my new mead mug that I bought myself in Ikea yesterday after having to be in the House of Doom for an hour. (it’s a very nice mug, I like it) 

Currently craving: Does sleep count?? Proper rest, I suppose. Uhhh, anything greasy and junk-food-y honestly. Takeaway food and it’s mostly because I don’t have energy to actually make food these days and my current diet doesn’t really allow for me to order pizza.. so. yaknow. craving what you can’t have XD

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Here’s a gift. The continuation of Dr Wayne AU where he’s the primary doctor for the JL and everyone is crushing on him, especially Supes. This is pure crack at this point. I spent way too long drawing all this in service of a joke that was funnier in my head.

Any concept: exists

Some Asian somewhere: pushing that concept to its absolute limit in execution and testing the bounds of reality, all while in service of creating something adorable.

This actually feels weirdly demoralizing. Why bother doing anything. I’ll never be half as good at anything as this person is at making mantou.

I’m so saddened by this news. Goodbye Mr Conroy. He will forever be my Batman. His voice, his acting, his heart was what made me fall in love with the character and world of Batman in fifth grade. He absolutely changed the way I viewed the world. So devastated by his passing. He was an absolute legend that changed the course of the Batman narrative for the world.

More Battinson/CavilleSupes art. Every version of Bruce is challenging in his own way, but I think this version would have to work especially hard on communication. Luckily, Clark is head-over-heels for this stubborn, intractable, wet cat of a man.
