It's been a while since I wrote something, but I recently finished watching the first season of the new Goosebumps series, thought their version of Slappy was really awesome, but then I watched the last two episodes, took one look at Kanduu and I was in love.

So, I decided to write this and finally finished it tonight, and since I know I wasn't the only one who thought Kanduu was really attractive, I hope some of you enjoy this, so please have a nice reading. 😊

So I finally got around to watch The Last Voyage of the Demeter and I loved it, a tad depressing at times so I don't really think I'll watch it again, but it was a great monster movie and I really hope the ending means that we're gonna get a sequel, cause I think it would be really interesting to see how they might play with the rest of the novel and what twists and turns they might bring to the story and the characters should they actually choose to use them. I think Van Helsing for example would be a great character for such a movie cause they could make him into a real badass. 😁

As for Dracula, I did not particularly liked the wendigo-like creature he was at the beginning and I especially don't like the creepy face, but he looked awesome once he got the wings. 😄

Seriously, this was one of the first Draculas that I had a crush on. 😍 I think it’s mostly his voice, but he’s also really beautiful, it’s such a shame the actor never played Dracula in something more serious. And yeah, you also gotta love him for the relationship he has with Vlad.

Cage looks damn good for his age kinda the same way Bela Lugosi did when he played Dracula and I don’t think it’s a coincidence they both played the role when they were around 60. Cage was born to play the vampire. He looks especially good as a vampire. 😊 It’s very fascinating cause they somehow managed to make him fit into the modern setting without making him look too modern, that could have end up badly, but the costume designers are geniouses.

And Cage is a great actor, yes, he has his own way of acting, and not everybody likes it, though I really don’t know why, he’s just a lot of fun to watch in a movie. And he definitely did such a loving tribute to Dracula in Renfield, his portrayal of the character was very Cage-like, yes, but nothing I wouldn’t believe Dracula to be like after 100 years in the future.

And exactly, I love my vampires, especially Dracula, a bit older because it gives them kind of like the old world charm, I am generally into older men, so I don’t like when they’re pushing the young and handsome thing, part of a vampire’s charm is that you’re not exactly supposed to know why you’re attracted to them, it just happens. ☺️

Its weird a lot of acquantices dont seem to like Nic Cage very much, even before Renfield got me obsessed with Cage and i just knew him as a meme i still liked him. He has a cool kooky Uncle vibe. Like so many ppl kinda wrinkled their nose at me when i said my fave film of the year has Nic Cage in it. Some turd was like 'he looks so old in Renfield!' Yo, I appreciate a modern vampire thats not a 28 yr old angular model. Gimme more Daddy Dracs goddamn!

It is strange, the way he's sort of a meme but regarded as a 'bad' or 'lesser' one. They don't regard him as anyone with talent, when he has. A fucking Lot. He's over the top but that is his whole deal, and even when he's more subtle it shines through. He absolutely has the Kooky Uncle vibe and I love it DFGDHGSHSD his filmography is ridiculously impressive in length alone and yeah acting a lot doesnt make the actor great by default but if you look at his creds its obvious that he's not just someone you Sniff At and turn away.

I will say he's not everyone's taste, and as people are prone to do on the internet, many have made their distaste a substantial part of themselves. Or even not just Him, but a movie or other piece of media he's tied to has become so ingrained as negative in someones brain that they regard him the same (looking at you Homestuck haters)

Also yes he's old in Renfield!! Because he is old! And also the appeal of Dracula is the fact he's more than half a millennia old!!!! And also he's still hot for an old guy and even MORE so dressed up as Dracula.
