Summer is over and I'm not entirely happy about it. Not because I love summer and I feel that it goes by too fast, or I have the best times of my life during summer, or because I don't have to work or go to school during the summer, or I miss the weather, or any of those generic, cliche reasons why everyone but me loves summer and never wants it to end. In fact, I hate summer: it's too hot and everyone goes crazy, just like in Do The Right Thing. I'm not happy summer is over because this past summer is the last time I will be the youngest I will ever be.

I am 25 now. This November I will be 26. Meaning I am no longer and will never again be this young, and this past summer represented -- to me -- my last season of youth. On top of that, all I did this summer was work. I didn't even get to relish the time as much as I wanted to or as much as I could have because I didn't have the resources nor sanity to do so. Or perhaps I just didn't have the nerve. I be so frustrated with myself y'all!!

This summer was not good to me, at all!!! These shots represent the two dresses I wore all the time, the fan that kept me cool, and the assorted colors of pens I bought to distinguish all the different appointments I had in my calendar these past few months (doctor, more doctors, interviews, more interviews). Sigh...

Flowers Summer. The bottom photo is slightly different from the top. I edited the contrast and saturation thinking it would look better. I can't tell. So here they both are (I couldn't choose). These flowers have been in the crib all summer and they're still living. They're really beautiful. They've been lighting up my darker days this past season. I'm very glad whenever I come back in and they are still there. - She

How much does a boat cost?? It's probably way cheaper to live on a boat than in an apartment right? I wonder...

I would love to live on a boat. Especially one like this. Plus my crib would move. I could take it anywhere and only would have to pay like a dock fee.

First and last beautiful day I had the fortune of capturing this summer. I've been wasting opportunities and beautiful days away at work instead of taking photos. I hate that money is so important. I wish I could just travel around and capture everything I see. Just me, my iPod, and my Canon. Pity though, money is what paid for them, and money is what will pay for traveling. - She
