drawing (and writing), makes me feel safe, somehow. i'm not an artist, I've never been one, but the act of creating something makes me happy. is it because of a sense of control? my art, is mine and will always be. nothing and no one can take away from me things born from my own hands; they're a part of me. art (and beauty) means: "i exist in my own way".

I've been a feminist for YEARS now but it's incredible how misogyny and patriarchy affect my whole life every single fucking day, mostly because of the first part of my adolescence and my stupid behavior as a child back then. i hate it, i fucking hate it. I'm aware of how wrong it is to think this but, would I be someone without beauty? would someone love me as the person that i am? my best friends found another girl to do everything with as they used to do with me. why her and not me? is it because she's more pretty? she's more loveable? less of a crazy mad woman? i'm so "traumatized" that even awareness cannot help me, it can only make me fall even deeper in this small little hole in which i can't breathe, full of nightmares and beliefs of a little 13yo girl and the woman I am now. why her and not me? i'm sorry i couldn't be enough for you, dear friends.
