i try to keep my blog a mostly positive space bc i'm here to have fun, but sometimes i think too long about yang during the fall of beacon and i have to wonder what the hell happened here???
i mean i know the answer is Plot™ but what makes it more frustrating is that there's an easy solution to that that doesn't sacrifice yang's character and still makes the Plot™ happen.

Man, I really hate it when I'm reading something and the plot is incredibly good. Like so very good and then it just becomes smut. Pure smut. The amount of times this has happened to me is ridiculous. To each their own of course, I'm not hating on those writers. Everyone has their interests and if that's what they like then I'm happy they feel comfortable enough to share. It's just so difficult to find stories where characters remain platonic or where they don't just have sex a bunch to deepen their bond. Idk. Am I being a prude or an ass for thinking like this?
Are you talking about books or fics? :v
If the latter I highly suggest using the filters to blacklist. There's a guide here! Then just stick to rated G or T and avoid anything with tags that imply there's smut in it (there will still be people who don't tag their shit BUT try to avoid those). In general M or E is always gonna contain some kinda smut, or at least references to sex. Sometimes it's for violence/language but that's rare.
If it's books it's usually pretty easy to tell which books will have smut lol (at least in my experience, I avoid romance books generally)... if there's a shirtless or scantly-clad person on the cover it's prolly gonna have it. You can also check goodreads and sometimes you can tell based on comments and ratings if there will be smut, you can also just ask in the questions section.
You're not a prude or being an ass at all my friend!! Everybody's got stuff they're cool with and stuff they're not cool with. Heck, I have stretches of time where I'm super sex-repulsed and can't look at anything containing sex without wanting to gag. It's not at all unreasonable!
I'm not quite sure where to look for this BUT you may look for books/fics featuring asexual/aromantic characters. There aren't a ton but I know they exist! r/asexuality and/or r/aromantic as well as other internet forums may be helpful with locating books like this- there tends to be some overlap between the two so a lot of the time you'll find people looking for aroace stuff in one or the other. Also I have just today found out the term for romance books without smut is called "closed door" or "clean" romance so that's interesting
And remember: be the change you wanna see in the world! Maybe pick up writing and write the kind of relationship you prefer? It doesn't have to be a full-on book, maybe a fic or a short story with ocs? It can be super fun and fulfilling while also hitting that niche you crave

I HAVE A QUESTION
i wasn't sure how to ask without looking like a complete creeper, but something i noticed on ROTTMNT fanwork is all the dni tcest tags (which I understand because that is one of the worst ways to look at the boys). thats p common in any fandom to have one bad trope everyone is against
my q is, does tcest exist???? is the fandom really good at destroying it? i haven't seen a single fan created thing that could have even hinted at it
which is awesome!!
don't get me wrong
i'm just shocked its mentioned SO MUCH and i haven't come across it
TW tcest mention
Sadly yes it is. I actually have the tcest tag filtered, but not all tcesters even tag their shit that way. I scroll the rise tag a lot and have come across untagged tcest :(
Once I saw some really cool art in the rise tag and thought, hmm, I wonder if this artist has more cool art! Clicks on their bio, scrolls, ends up seeing tcest :( It was not tagged tcest it was tagged leotello, so now that is another tag I went and filtered before I blocked them. Some artists will post tcest and non tcest art, but frankly I don't want to support art from a tcester so if I ever reblog something from a tcester let me know so I can delete it.
I did not know that filtered tags showed up when I search the rise tag, but one post showed up the other day. I thought well hey a great opportunity to block said person I guess. It was a whole post about tcest supporters on tumblr ewwwwwww. Well, took that opportunity to go through and block as many of those as I could, there were a lot of reblogs :( Fortunately it looks like most of those blogs put they are tcest supporter blogs in their bios so they are easier to spot if you ever stumble across them in the wild.
But yeah, it exists. If you go on ao3 and search the rise tag, you need to blacklist like every.single.combination. Idk maybe there is a way to save filtered searches but I just keep my one window open all the time on my phone with my 45 million tags blocking out the tcest cause I don't want to see that.
Also, because I have seen some people get confused, on ao3, 'character a/character b' is a romantic pairing, and 'character a & character b' is a platonic relationship.
I'm not one for drama, just a block and move on if I see it. But some people do put tcest dni on their posts too. I know it can be really frustrating and gross if you posted some wholesome hugs or something and some gross person tags it as tcest. Certainly not a good feeling.
Hope that answers your question!

was having banri thoughts lately just bc like. why not right. and then i suddenly remember u mentioning that some ppl... did not like banri at the start? which is wild to me bc in my mind ive always been ride or die for him. like i love juza so much but i feel like. that doesnt rly oppose liking banris character as well? banri is such fun character drama at the beginning of autumn and then his and itarus dynamic is fun from the start... gosh and the acting in the final bits of the autumn troupe between him and juza! suchhh fun tension. like. idk. it just started making me think like wow. digging thru a3 on my own with mostly the influence of like, just you has probably skewed my opinion of what the common perception of a3 is like. for example in my head winter is the most popular troupe which... it maybe isnt? i feel like recently i saw u mention summer might be the most popular(? this couldve been a dream) and i didnt realize itaru was super popular until like. last month. i mean if i had to pick a character i thought was the most popular i'd pick. misumi.
LKFJDLKFJD god what an ask
yeah i doubt i'm exactly the "common a3 experience" but to be perfectly honest i haven’t really kept tabs on the fandom per se since hh mid-2020 when i started to dig into some tags and saw so much negativity i was just :/ and stopped doing so (the curse to liking rascals </3).
Nowadays my knowledge of the a3 fandom is mostly the people interreacting with me, which already generally means that they vibe with what i post, so it gives me a skewed vision of the fandom like, are we all like that? or are the loud voices that made me go avoid the tag still here yaknow?
More stuff under cut
For Banri, i'll admit i wasn't too hot about him when i started the game, which now i regret so bad because he's my precious little meow meow hands down. He has such a good arc!!!! I know in my case i just had a hard time because i cared for Juza right away and i was still so high on Summer's development i kept comparing Banri to Tenma and going "here's why Tenma is amazing and Banri is cringefail". But it lasted me until a bit before Banri sees the portraits, when he starts to be conflicted, after that i was all, oh wait i like that guy. And then the more content i saw of him the more i loved him and he became my fav Autumn Chara. (so if you want to ramble about him more you’re free to do so because i’m team i adore this guy. please do. you’re so right in what you say of him.)
But so i did expect people to have my experience - hard time in the beginning, then mellowing on him before the end of the Autumn Chapter. And it wasn't the case 😭😭😭😭 At least at the time, the Banri's takes were rancid. Like it was genuinely annoying at a point, you couldn't go anywhere without some Banri bashing fuckery, even after his initial arc, people just. really hated him. My most hated takes were that i saw so many people say Banri would bully Yuki or stuff implying they would have an antagonistic relationship and it's probably why i cling to Into the Night so much, like HELL you're going to twist one of my fav crosstroupe dynamic!!! I legit saw so many things reducing Banri to a menace and a bully, and if not that, talking about how much everyone in the dorm hated him, and it was really driving me insane then.
I remember once making a post about how i was so close to blacklist "Banri" because people didn't filter this bashing with tags so i was just ready to just, not see Banri anymore, but it was breaking my heart. But somehow after this post i got a few people coming back at me about how it annoyed them too and i saw some of those people make their own posts in a more. direct way. and after that i never saw Banri bashing again. My power (< absolutely not, coincidence at best i'm sure).
A lot of Banri bashing i saw back then were from "newcomers" in the sense that it was after the anime aired, and a lot of people were just coming in without knowing about the events. imo i think the events do help giving a better feel to Banri in general so the fact people were fresh from the anime might have skewed things. I remember a friend who was in that case, newcomer and all, only read the main story, didn't like Banri after reading the main story. Then, Main story act 2 came out and while they didn't read the events, they read the main story and they started liking Banri there (because he did develop so much since then)
And as a whole i'd say, by act 2 it must have died out a bit.
There's another chara who gets bashed a lot but. Act 2 stuff 😔. Unfortunately a chara i like a lot so this was my breaking point of "i'm not checking the tags anymore none of you know how to behave". I think it mellowed since then? and i know the chara is popular in the JPN fandom meanwhile.
else i've seen like, Tasuku having very little content from fans and a few people being mean to him when they talked about him, but it was a long time ago and i sure hope it died out. I don't think i'd say he's bashed, more that most folks don't have strong feelings about him and stopped just with a bitter taste over his anger toward Tsumugi in the first winter chap.
Now. About popularity, Winter is DEF NOT the most popular troupe. Pretty sure it plays between Autumn and Summer in term of popularity. That said it's not like any of the troupes are unpopular so any ramblings about each Troupe would be meet with pleased reactions from the fandom, so it is harder to gauge that but yeah.
Troupewise something i noticed is that i think Summer is the most popular in term of GROUP, while Autumn is the most popular in term of Individuals. So a lot of people liked Summer specifically for their dynamic and how each of those charas played out each other more than individually liking each of them, while for Autumn it was, they liked all of them strongly! not specifically for their dynamic, though of course it plays a part, but as individuals. I mention it because i think it was the key difference in rank up in why i think Summer plays were okay to rank up to while Autumn were a nightmare. (that said that can also be "blamed" on "fans gravitate around characters that have elements they have as well" or something which means Autumn fans were more likely to be competitive and stubborn in a way Summer were more mellow.)
Itaru is definitely the most popular character of the whole game, period. It's not even a competition at this point it's so funny. when the EN server was live, anytime Itaru had a rank up card was a bloodbath (< survivor of Kniroun ranking up at 0.2%. Didn't sleep normally for the whole duration of the event it was so much.).
By the end of the server things were dying out a bit but still in general you could get a vague idea of popularity by how wild the rankings could be. For instance the fact Tasuku's ranking was a breeze without even trying was indicative of how he's not that popular.
In general i've noticed, at the time at least, that Winter ranks up were rather easy. I've ranked up for a few of Summer and i didn't see much of a problem otherwise*. Spring was really chill unless Itaru was in rank up. Autumn was THE Bloodbath. There were Autumn Stans organziation all over, the appp SYSTEMATICALLY broke EVERYTIME Autumn was around, it was always much more challenging, so yeah man.
Misumi* is probably the one i'd consider the second most popular character of the game, pretty much.
(*The funny thing is that Misumi got his lead play very early in the server's history, and i know i ranked up for him then and i didn't think it was too hard. In retrospect i'm sure it has more to do with the fact the game didn't have as many people playing it, than it had to do with popularity, so my word on Summer not being a problem is based on weird stats)
A while ago, for the Taiwanese server, there was a special set of cards in term of popularity on this server. Itaru got a SSR, Masumi got a SR, and Misumi got a R.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Masumi is in a weird position because i'd say he's fairly unpopular in the EN server, while he's popular in the JPN and Taiwanese server. Honestly i'm assuming he's especially popular with the teen audience.
AND THE MOST TELLING PART:
The first Cross-troupe's play was involving the most popular character of each troupe, by a poll being made by the JPN server. The leads were Itaru and Banri, then Misumi as a secondary character and Tsumugi as a more support character.
Meaning at the time, this was the order of the 4 most popular characters of the game.
When the mixed troupe event came to the English server, i remember a poll circulating on tumblr and likely twitter as well, trying to see if the EN Server had different favorites. Itaru still came on top, Misumi followed closely afterward. For Autumn, it was Juza and Taichi that were on the top of the Autumn poll, not Banri, and for Winter, i think it was still Tsumugi but Homare was very close behind.
So that was the popularity at least back then, god knows opinions now.
I've seen Homare be extremely popular on tumblr for sure. I have no doubt in Juza's popularity as well.
I saw a lot of Taichi fan going "Taichi is underappreciated" but i saw so many of them i was kinda just thinking "bro i'm pretty sure Taichi is in the popular character squad by now" But i'm also on the other hand as i've once seen a post saying Hisoka was popular and it stunned me a moment going ????? because as a huge Hisoka stan i don't see it???? There's a few devoted fans, and he has a better fanbase in JPN server, but in EN server??? (I'm comparing the last rank up for Hisoka VS the last rank up for Taichi in my mind and i genuinely don't see it for instance) so i also think it's likely i have a "fav blindspot" where i just don't think people are vibing with the charas the way i'm vibing, just. exactly like what i'm talking about with the Taichi stans so.... (that said i also once was tagged in a post that was going "i don't think i've ever seen a Hisoka or Tasuku stan" and a friend just went @ icha come here. Schrodinger Hisoka who's both popular and unpopular depending on who you're asking. And Tasuku IS MY UNDERRATED MEOW MEOW)
I think i recall Tenma being popular for a time, and Yuki is well appreciated by everyone around here. Kazunari has a loud fanbase but i'm pretty sure the seiyuu thing was a huge blow to them and a lot of them got more quiet at the time.
And for what it's worth i do think there's a sizeable portion of the fandom that really like Tsuzuru, but i think it's just, something you get to see a lot when a huge part of the fandom is creatives. And to be completely fair, Clockwork Heart is the one event i had a massive burn out at and didn't pay attention to the rankings at all, so i can't tell if people went really wild about it. And the next Tsuzuru rank up event was literally the last event of the EN server and i'm sure it's not indicative of anything since a lot of folks just didn't want to bother. So unlike the others were i'm using rank up as a gauge of popularity i can't tell how Tsuzuru's might influence his.
SO YEAH that's for what i could pick up BACK THEN, as i remind, i didn't really look deeply into the fandom itself. I'm really good in my corner so it might not actually be indicative of the fandom trends and i'm maybe completely off base.
Then about how, i, personally, don't represent the fandom, unless the fandom changed since then: When i first liveblogged a3, it was when the server was new and no one was on tumblr about it, so i was a little unfiltered from people's opinions. when i came back about a year later to comment on act 2, getting all worked up, and running then into the growing fanbase on this website, is when i started to run into fan takes and everything.
And, let's be clear, i came back because i was crying very hard over Hisoka and Azuma and the full Winter Troupe, and Chikage, so i really came here with my Big Winter Boots only talking about Winter and then Spring.
I ended up getting a feel of what people were talking about a lot at that time, and kinda ended up talking more about what i considered my Underrated Gems.
For instance, i absolutely adore Itaru. I ranked up for him, i've bleed for him, i love the dude. But he's so popular i figured i legit had nothing to say about him that a hundred people wouldn't have been able to say before. So i've mostly didn't really talk about him much despite loving him a LOT because i just didn't think i had anything to say. (now in my current reread i'm doing it so disconnected from what i know of the fandom that i indulged in talking more about how much i like him LMAO)
Meanwhile, there's characters i love that i know the fandom don't talk about much so i end up talking about them more, and it's the case of Tasuku. I wouldn't be surprised Tasuku is really low on most people's popular list. I'm just Not Most People and you're going to hear me ramble about that hunk of a man every few days or so.
I've made my niche in the Winter Troupe appreciation gang and i'm pretty sure by now a lot of other Winter people follow me as a result because i couldn't shut the fuck up, so then my perception of the fanbase gets skewed because i just think of Them ahah.
And there is the fact i adore the rookies, mainly Chikage and Guy, but don't talk about them so much mostly because they came out later in the main story and i've been rereading act 1 so many times instead,,, and didn't talk much about act 2 in case some people managed to save themselves from being spoiled (like you!!)
So my personal perception of a3 is probably not reflecting the whole a3 fanbase really much. God the amount of times i talked my friends's ears off about Winter, that they kinda just humored me without thinking much about it, until they found out one of the More Popular Chara (Itaru, Tenma and the whole Autumn Troupe mostly) and suddenly they're like *twirls hair* heeyy Icha tell us more about a3. It's genuinely so funny to me.
and again i don't know perhaps i'm full of shit, and it's not like i've kept tabs on the fandom recently either!
But that is at least a bit of what i remember in term of popularity and what i can say is that i shouldn't be taken as an example of the fanbase's views in general.
I'm vibing in my corner, and by experience, it usually meant i ended up talking about more niche things, but since i'm disconnected from the fandom i'm pretty sure i still have opinions that are popular opinions. So who knows! not me!
So yeah that's all i can say about the popularity of the a3 fandom. Def not an indication of it by me.
and it must be funny for you since you only really have me as your fandom gateaway because well. *waves at post* yeah.
The more you know!

I think what you say is fair, but I think it’s un-useful and showy to tag for something that is in the body of the post as text. If it was text in an image, then the tag is serving a filtering purpose for people affected badly by certain slurs, since filters can’t read images. But if it’s already in the text of the post, the tag is only telling the original poster “I see you used this bad word” which is probably part of why they got snippy
1. try reading my post before talking about it
Tumblr media
the tag is not directed at the poster it’s an informational tool for other people lmao. if you say a slur and someone tags it as a slur and you take that personally, that is entirely a you problem. like, it IS a slur lmao. and if you can’t even cope with an ENTIRELY NEUTRAL reminder that it’s a slur and therefore not everybody wants to see it, you have no business reclaiming it and honest to god need to grow up. if you respect other triggers at all you should respect slurs as a trigger it’s not that hard idk how to explain to you that you should care about other people
2. i care more about protecting the mental wellbeing of someone who might get triggered by a slur than i care about merely annoying someone who throws a fit when reminded that slurs still hurt people
3. if someone blacklists the word faggot bc they don’t want to see it, tumblr puts up a banner that says “THIS POST CONTAINS THE WORD FAGGOT 🗣️” which forces them to see it anyway. if they tag it “f slur” and someone has that blacklisted they don’t have to see it at all
4. “un-useful and showy to tag for something that’s in the body of the post” get your head out of your ass it’s a tag on a post. it’s like 5 characters and a space. are we trying to conserve tags are we running out of them?? i will add a thousand un-useful and showy tags to a post if it stops one person feeling bad. IT DOESN’T AFFECT YOU. if it does annoy you, pls refer to points #1 and 2 above
5. never say stupid things to me again bye

ok i was blabbing this on priv twitter but, i saw that sheezy is back which is cool, i did actually like it out of the art gallery sites that had been popping up. i logged back in so i have my profile there tho idk how active i will be
however i keep thinking more about its site management, also in comparison to other websites that have tried the same thing. this isnt a jab at the mods there, but an observation... they have ratings of general, mature, and explicit all with different teirs of whats allowed in terms of things like nudity or gore (and other topics on the mature/explicit teirs). normal thing to see, but the potential issues i start to see are when there are specific visual guides, and specific tags expected for a variety of different visuals that may either be subjective on whether or not they are that thing, or could easily be tagged as something else/something similar but still not be considered properly tagged. plus when you have three different maturity ratings and you say "all of them can have blood and nudity, just different levels of it!" you get that confusion and subjectivity on what may be too much or too little, despite having visual guides.
for example i had a piece i uploaded with (in a large art summary so it wasnt the whole peice) self harm in it, which i tagged "selfharm". however a mod came a added the tag "sensitivetopics" because apparently thats what i needed to tag instead. not anger at the mods here, its great theyre on top of things. but why isnt "selfharm" caught in this system? its incredibly specific, while "sensitivetopics" is not. but thats what the system goes by/expects. even if i had marked it mature and added "selfharm" it still wouldnt be tagged correctly.... and thats an issue. 1) it makes more work for the mods who manually check this 2) its just hard to follow. and if it was more serious of a thing, there could certainly be upset from people if they kind of tagged it right but apparently not right by the mod's rules.
there is always a push for making sure content is tagged better these days so people can curate their experiences. understandably simply having general, mature, and explicit doesnt account for lots of stuff so tags are expected to help out. but getting far to specific on what it expected to only be in those labels is kind of a problem.
but it shouldn't have to be, imo? i think most sites that have loosely defined general, mature, and adult/explicit labels make it work just fine. and enforcing tags for blacklisting can easily lead to more issues. its a great thought to have, to want to make sure things are tagged in a way thats unbiased and simply for users to curate their use of the site. but its never realistic. curating your online space doesnt mean the website should curate it for you by practically promising they will be the one to make sure everything gets tagged all the time no matter what. because its not possible, as much as they may try to get mods to check every drawing. and whether or not the site promised this at all, the failure to achieve it would likely upset users who expected everything to go just that way.
it is tricky, just because of course people could mislabel in a very bad way (explicit marked as general). but those instances of a drawing being under a mature filter but not tagging something specific shouldnt be the focus for every single post on the site, i just see that becoming an issue in the long run-- whether its subjectivity (or the pressure to make more and more tags to get more specific), or just the effort from the mod side.

Tumblr staff: there's a form if you want to send us feedback! please use this form to send us feedback about things you'd like us to improve!
me, using the feedback form: it'd be great if you could refine the algorithm you use to recommend me posts, because I really like and use that tab, but sometimes it recommends me posts based on the tags of what the people I follow interact with, not on the tags of what I interact with. And sometimes it's harmless, like shows I don't watch, but sometimes it recommends me posts about things that I would never interact with and that can be potentially harmful, like violently bigoted content and k*nks, which I'd like to believe none of the people I follow interact with either, so Idk where those are coming from.
Tumblr staff: hey there! we cannot turn off the recommended posts tab at the time :( you can try not using it.
me: yeah I wouldn't want to turn it off, I find it very useful! I'd just appreciate it if you could refine the algorithm so I don't have to see, for example, incredibly violent d*tr*nsit*on k*nk posts, which is not something I'd ever interact with and, while only upsetting to me, could be harmful to other people.
Tumblr staff: hey! have you tried reporting and blocking? :)
me: yes, I already reported and blocked those posts after I already saw the upsetting content, but I'm sending feedback on this feature so that maybe I don't have to see them at all in the future, as I think this could be potentially harmful to some people and it's also unpleasant to me.
Tumblr staff: hey there! please use the filtering feature to blacklist tags you don't want to see posts about :)
me: for fuck's sake, I can't blacklist all the things in the world that could potentially annoy or upset me that I don't even know about on the off-chance that your stupid algorithm will think of recommending me posts about it!! I'm using the feedback form!! I'm providing feedback!! I'm not asking for help and suggestions!! I'm the one sending a suggestion for your consideration!! it doesn't seem like you're reading my messages at all!! please don't send me another fucking stupid suggestion that doesn't solve my original request!!

A Tip for the Reddit Refugees
Maybe someone’s made this post but I haven’t seen it yet SO if you are new to Tumblr (and yeah this can go to any Twitter escapees who stuck around but I’m doing this right around the Reddit migration), here are two things you’re gonna wanna get (for the web version, I don’t use the app so idk if these things are there for the app):
Tumblr Savior: a frankly vital add on in Firefox and Chrome that lets you blacklist certain tags or keywords. It does have some weird “tumblr behavior” settings that are defaulted on (namely: hiding the source attribution? as in the blogs who create/reblog the post?? why is that a thing) but just turn those off and you are Good to Go. Never see a post about Taco Bell or whatever again.
Xkit Rewritten: a really robust add-on (in both Firefox and Chrome) that...basically makes tumblr better to use? Like it’s hard to describe what Xkit does, because it does a lot. There’s Tweaks, which, well, tweaks things about the tumblr dash (if you saw people complaining about a change to how the header of a post didn’t link to the individual post, Tweaks will fix that). There’s Quick Reblog, which makes reblogging and tagging things way easier. There’s AccessKit, which is an accessibility suite. There’s just a lot here and it’s worth looking at imo! (There is also New Xkit, which...is no longer new, but it does still work if you wanna get that one as well. I have both since uninstalling New Xkit is work and I am lazy, and there’s no conflicts.)
Also obviously your adblockers and whatnot do work on Tumblr, and there’s a filter I saw going around to block the Following/For You tabs on the dashboard that I’ll reblog once I find it again, it’ll be tagged “reference” and “tumblr” on my blog if anyone wants those!

yes, friend, because when domestic violence happens years ago that removes its importance. very clever. tag your fucking shit.
Unfollow. Seriously. I’ve stated why I won’t be tagging shit for random anons.
The filtering system tumblr has now filters out mentions of certain keywords as long as they’re unique, and “cellbit” doesn’t share a search term with anything else to my knowledge. The reason I tag FitMC is because a friend that I care about asked me to, because blacklisting “fit” removes more than just FitMC, and even then I warned them that I may forget.
Clearly, you don’t like me. So I don’t know why you’re following anyways, if you are.
If you think I’m a POS for doing my research after you sent me an anon and coming to the conclusion that not only is this not an ongoing thing, it happened and was resolved over a year ago, then oh well my guy. People change and should in most cases be allowed to do so. IMO, because both parties came to an agreement and per my cursory google search it appears to be upheld and the hurt party wants it dropped, I see nothing wrong with doing as she has asked.
Frankly if you send another anon demand like this, I’ll be blocking you. I don’t know who you are and have no reason to blindly trust your judgement of a situation over my own, nor do I feel like worrying over remembering to tag something for you when it’s unclear if you’ll even actually benefit from it.
Feel free to add me to your callout post. God knows I’ve been due for a while.
Idk if you’re from Twitter or just don’t get how tumblr works, but if you think this is an effective way to get what you want from me and feel better about yourself, you are sorely mistaken and should probably try a hobby. I’d recommend sewing or gardening, both have brought me a lot of joy lately :)

okay i'm almost done planning the tag system for my blog. i have the drafts and i'll post them just like that, it's awkward but meh.
i'm just still a bit hesitant about a certain thing tho. in regards to like,, if i ever post or reblog something nsfw or suggestive (the latter is more probable than the former)... i was thinking of using the citrus scale? like, lemon and lime, respectively. but maybe in order to not get in trouble with tumblr's guidelines i should just stick to the actual words, or use the post filter? it's sketchy. also obviously i'm talking about like, drawings and fics, i wouldn't share stuff like that with irl people.
my main concern is that if i use the actual tags, my blog might get shadow banned or something like that? but at the same time it's the most safe way to go i guess. kids nowadays probably don't even know the citrus scale but they can easily learn it. and if i say, hey i use this tag on my blog so blacklist it, i should be safe, right?
although at the same time if i post something and tag it with lemon and not nsfw it would be wrong, right? what about reblogs? also some people say that posting nsfw in the main tag of a fandom is wrong...
IDK!!! like, the actual chances of me posting nsfw are VERY low, but never zero!!! and i want to be careful in order to not get in trouble you know!
if someone read all this, i would appreciate your opinions on the matter T~T

b*lly stans are wild like YOU FILTERED HIM AND TAGGED IT AS ANTIS BUT THEY STILL CAME FOAMING AT THE MOUTH. like uh. so sorry we think johnathan would care more about victims of b*lly's abuse than the racist abuser himself, even if he was also abused. and when discussing steve did they forget that johnathan beat the shit out of him in that fight and only got on eh terms once steve got him a new camera and apologized??? wild. and again they need to learn about filtering and scrolling JFC
Literally amazes and astounds me how they will go out of their way to get big mad. It's tagged ANTI, idk blacklist the anti tag then?? Ever thought of that😂 like you can't get mad at me when I'm using the proper tags!
I'm so glad you get it anon. Truly blasphemous and like deranged behavior? Idk who looks at Jonathan and thinks he'd feel bad for b*lly.(yea he might feel bad for the dude being abused but he has critical thinking. He's not going to sympathize with b*lly passing his abuse down to max and then using his racism and hatred towards lucas. Oh yea and the fact b*lly threatened and would've ran over the kids) LIKE WHAT?!
The most delusional group of people.
The way they talk ass backwards about what everyone else has done...always blowing it out of proportion or not telling the full truth, but oh no can't mention what their disgusting demented fave did, can't mention those truths that they will sugarcoat and water down...like gtfo of here with that. bffr!
At this point you can't even tag anti because they're watching that tag like hawks apparently 😂😂
(And what people don't get is Max is also a victim of abuse, thanks to b*lly...since they think comparing him to Jonathan isn't the same, Max is actively under threat and in fear of b*lly up until the moment he dies. We don't see her bullying and trying to murder the party or any other kids. We don't see her being racist and disgusting despite the way b*lly wants to beat that disgusting belief into her. No, instead she sees his awful beliefs and actions and wants to protect Lucas. She recognizes that it's horrible. She recognizes and even states she doesn't want to be like him. So if Jonathan is going to protect anyone from anything it's Max. B*lly no doubt is also homophobic, idk something in the interactions/intimidation tactics with Steve. But believe you me Jonathan ABSOLUTELY would beat the shit out of b*lly to protect anyone of them. So yes. I say again bffr.)
Sorry for the rant. Sorry for the tangent.

Hey, please don't follow or interact with me if you're going to be gross when disliking a harmless ship
Seen a lot of people being gross when it comes to hating Huntlow. It's okay to dislike the ship!! It's okay to blacklist/filter the ship tag because if your dislike, too!!
It's also okay to still be uncomfortable or dislike it even though Willow has been confirmed to have turned 15 at some point in S2A (most of those photos seen featured Gus' S2 design. His face also didn't seem as round in that photo so I'm positive it took place in 2A)!!
What isn't okay is being really disgusting with your hate. I've seen so many people say really gross things, especially now that Willow has been confirmed to be 15 while Hunter is 16. So, if you've said or agree with any of the following, please just block me:
People should die for shipping it
You'll kill yourself if you see the ship/it becomes canon
Being fatphobic and racist (I've heard this is mostly happening on Tiktok??)
Calling the ship gross and that "people who ship this must have been groomed as a kid"/making fun of grooming and the victims of it while hating the ship
If you believe victims don't deserve to be happy and in a relationship (idk as a victim who had multiple abusers... It really makes me feel like some of you are saying we're too broken for relationships. I understand wanting Hunter to get therapy, I do too, but the way I've seen some people word this makes it come off as if some just think none of us are allowed to date at all because we've been abused/traumatised)
People hating the ship just because its 'hetero'/'straight' and not LGBT+ (mspec and trans people exist. If we date the opposite gender, we're still LGBT+. Our relationship is still LGBT+. Don't be phobic just because mspec and trans people may date the opposite gender)
Again, it's perfectly fine if you don't like the ship!! Nobody is forcing you to ship it. Even now that its confirmed in episode that Willow turned 15 at some point in S2A, which means there's about a year gap between her and Hunter, I understand if people still don't like the ship because of headcanons or anything like that!!
I just don't feel comfortable with people who say that kind of disgusting thing interacting with me. Especially when you could just... Block/blacklist the ship tag (and block accounts if needed) and just continue on with your day. So, if you've said anything like the stuff I've listed, or have agreed - and continue to agree with it - with anyone saying it, please just block me because I really don't want any of you interacting with me

hi, how do i tag something i dont think youd want to see? like idk how to say it but some people have tags like "[name] dont look" they can ask their friends to use to filter out stuff that might make them uncomfortable since a lot of people tag triggers in different formats
hiya, i appreciate you sending me an ask about this! i don't have a specific tag but i can definitely make one (i've been considering it for a while)! i'll make it #fish don't look, otherwise i have heaps of variations of stuff like drugs and nsfw blacklisted if it's something more general

Hope this doesn't come across wrong, but are you going to be posting a lot about leaks now that you've caught up? I just really don't want to see that stuff and blacklisting the tag doesn't work.
Take care of yourself and have fun tho!
yeah i’m a manga reader so i’ll be posting a lot abt it. the filters work great for me so idk why it’s not working for you. it’s my pinned post, but here are the tags i use for spoilers:
• bnha spoilers
• bnha manga spoilers
• bnha [chapter number]
