For my sister, I leaned pretty heavily into medicine, giving her a role more similar to that of Shinobu within the Corps: not primarily a fighter, and helping treat wounds sustained by other slayers in battle as a healer. My sister is, in the real world, a doctor, and I have massive respect for the amount of hard work she’s put into getting to where she is now. She’s such an inspiration honestly <3

Well I like to think of what my family grows or used to grow when I was little ^^ I'm sure a big part of all the crops are fields and gardens that had probably overgrown, that Knuckles found when exploring Angel Island. There could be potatoes, beetroot, cauliflower. They all could be different types than you find on the continent, maybe ancient ones that you can't find anywhere else, or native to Angel Island's climate, maybe some completely new ones. I dream of drawing Knuckles in a greenhouse!! He could grow tomatoes, cucumbers, maybe some peppers. I don't think a greenhouse would survive this long with no one around so maybe Sonic and Tails could help him build it, or rebuild some old one. It's very important that there are grapes! I used to have grapes where they would climb up from the ground in the backyard and surround the balcony and I would sit there and just eat them so I think he deserves the same. Maybe in whatever house he has on the island there could be a grape vine that climbs to his window. An entire grapevine would be cool but I don't know much about that.. I think what's also important are sunflowers. Knuckles gives me a grandma with a farm vibes and that image can't be complete without him eating an entire sunflower daily, he'd much on those seeds like crazy!

Of course there's chao fruit, lots of it probably grows wild but there could be some very old orchards or something like that. There could also be some vegetables that are completely unknown and only grow on the island

He would probably learn how to grow some of them from various texts left by his tribe, and the others would have to be trial and error until he figures it out. Maybe he would accidentally kill some vegetables until he got off the island and he would see someone growing them in their yard or something and he would ask about that.

it's also literally an empty plastic container. in which you pour water which you freeze. and then you have an icecube in a little plastic cup which you can now move over your face.

#now i happen to know there ARE in fact advantages to putting ice on your skin.having had eczema #for a flareup i would get some ice out of the freezer move it upwards over my face. sometimes cubes sometimes wrapped #this does work to reduce irritation! it also helps you look more awake! i still do it in the morning sometimes because it feels nice! #but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 20 euro for an empty plastic icecube container fsdhjgfgsahgf #it's literally free!!! not counting the costs of the freezer and idk 1 euro i paid for the icecube molds. which also come in ball shape btw #tho i'll admit i've used bags of frozen vegetables it's whatever

i planted potatoes at the end of the summer, and they did fine until they all just up and died on me for no reason and after that i kind of forgot about them in the sea of seemingly empty pots, and then we had the two week long freeze and if i’d remembered them i’d have written them off even more than i already had. Today I went through the planter because i wanted to get outside a bit and there was a whole large bowlful of potatoes grown in there??? The largest crop i’ve ever gotten from a single mini planter of spuds anyway??? 

and i did this with carrotts as well, planted them in early summer, the squirrel destroyed them trying to bury his nuts and i didn’t have anymore seeds left so i just left the planter empty, only to go back months later and find 5 reasonably sized carrots in there that apparently survived the great squirrel massacre of 2022. Before this the longest carrot i’ve ever grown was a massive one inch long. 

so basically i’ve discovered the key to me growing root vegetables is to put them in dirt and totally ignoring them for at least 3 months and to pretend i actually had something to do with the success of them growing i guess
