#artists on tumblr #art #illustration #digital art #digital drawing #dnd #dungeons and dragons #homebrew #original art #my art #my ocs #Setting: Heim #I drew these a couple of years ago now i think #but since i'm drawing stuff for this setting again i'm reuploading with updated information cause the last one is outdated #I will say right off the bat however #If you compare my designs to already existing IPs i will block you on sight #the last time i posted these they got compared to a piece of media i really dislike #and that comment alone made me fall out of love with this setting for almost two years #so please. do not. it's rude and unnecessary #These are the artefacts my setting and its story is largely centered around #Tethry is credited with creating them (Even though he didn't) #They were gifted by Tethry to each of the largest cities in the world to serve as power generators supplying arcane power to the whole city #immediately pushing the four sister cities into prosperity and progress. leaving literally everyone else in the dust #which caused some understandable tension between countries that already had a bit of a strained relationship to begin with #There is SO MUCH to these little trinkets and their link to Tethry and how finding them essentially fucked up his whole entire life #You'd think becoming the world's most renowned arcanist would be the best thing that ever happened to an aspiring caster #but to some poor dude just trying to study arcane language. stumbling across the magical equivalent of the demon core #was very much not on his wishlist #especially not dealing with the consequences of trying to make sure no one actually realises how nasty they have the potential to be #which. someone inevitably does

#mine #i love my steam deck sooooooooo much im so happy i can actually play games again like a big proper library of them #and everything #everything on steam AND emulators is available to me. do you know how many games that is! #i started a new beegee3 playthrough on the HARDEST DIFFICULTY (!) today. which is also a single-save difficulty #and im in one of the most difficult parts of the game right now (level 4) and kind of nervous lol #but at the same time im really proud of myself for learning the game to the point i feel comfortable challenging myself in it #and im happy i get to at all :D i love you video games #and sooner or later ill come back to stardew valley cause there was that big update and i have some games on my wishlist too #and its not verified yet but i might play that pomeranian making the house dirty game cause it looked cute #oh and yakuza also because my friend got two of the yakuzas for me #YAYYYYY GAMES #also kind of sad though because tomorrow i pack and sunday i go back for babys last quarter of college #and im worried about how busy its going to be with classes and job apps and then of course actually graduating #and moving out and haivng a job and stuff #when all i want is to enjoy being able to play video games again.... sig #sigh* #WHATEVER...future mes problem #oh i almost forgot...one of the best parts of the deck imo is the versatility because with games like beegee3 #you can play it in controller mode which has its pros and cons but you can also swap to computer mode #which also has its pros and cons so like. i can adjust as needed #when im just exploring or trying to loot an area etc i go controller #but when im in combat i go computer because the hotbar is REALLY helpful for decision making #its really nice to have the option to choose since no console players have that it seems #and the only pc players who can do that are the ones who have and are willing to connect controllers #and most of them dont seem to be into that #but im really glad to be able to do both #ok done yapping now

in other news, aisling ending the cycle of trauma and abuse so well that it never repeats ever again. aisling, who never really grew up with unconditional love and affection, who never received hugs or kindness without an ulterior motive, becoming the kind of mom who rushes into her kids' rooms and hugs them tight when they waken from a nightmare, or who sings to them when they can't sleep, or who knows all their favorite things and treasures their achievements while comforting them during their self-perceived failures.

okay i am making a wishlist of ideal mikey threads for Reasons

-i already mentioned this one recently, but members in toman learning about the things mikey's been hiding. generally cracking him open like a walnut, etc. preferably with lots of emotional vulnerability from mikey's side

- similarly to the above, threads set in the final arc timeline with members of toman. like that specific time period where mikey's trying to make everyone hate him, and they don't know wtf he's doing. nice.

- something related to mikey's frustrations with his lack of agency & feeling useless/a burden due to the dark impulses and being unable to help his friends??this would work well with a takemichi who he could openly discuss things with, but i'd be interested to see how it could work with other characters too. i don't have ideas for that yet unfortunately tho

okay i don't know why tumblr suddenly insisted on adding bullet points but. sanzu and mikey threads!! especially where sanzu knows exactly what's going on with mikey but mikey himself doesn't. i love that shit.

the problem with a lot of these is that they require specific characters to work, so i also want to think of ideas that aren't centered on toman. maybe something with post-canon mikey using his knowledge from the future to understand someone in a way they wouldn't expect?? or maybe... him being forced to go to someone for help with something?? idk. i'll update this post with more non-toman threads in a bit, i think...

That would be fantastic! Khare is in dire need of more friends and Ava would be such a good one to have! Being so sweet and friendly, Ava's vibes are just the sort that Khare can feel chill around and it doesn't hurt that she's got a career in Paleontology also. Khare LOVES dinosaurs and anything prehistoric, it's so interesting to her so it's quite apt that these two who can find it hard to break out of their shells (haha) can end up being very good friends? Khare would definitely look into new recipes for Ava to try (including her favourite fried crickets!)
