Wait no continuing from my tags on my previous reblog, Veronica and her relationship with Scary I think explains a lot of why Scary has such a bad grasp on her emotions.
Like Veronica doesn’t seem like a very emotionally open person to begin with, in addition to the fact that she was a single mom lawyer who wouldn’t have the time to spend with Scary if she wanted to keep a roof over their heads.
Scary mostly grew up with a single parent who worked a job with very long hours. She probably didn’t get to have those emotional talks with her mom when something was bothering her, maybe bc if it wasn’t big enough than she couldn’t justify talking to her busy mom about it, or maybe Veronica just didn’t pick up on it. That’s just a natural part of being a single parent, you miss things, and sometimes those are important things, even if you try your best and you love your kid.
It could also in part play into Scary’s want for attention? Like that’s naturally a very teenage want, but like add on the fact that her mom is generally a very busy woman and her limited free time is suddenly being taken up by this loser cringe guy that she started dating instead of spending time with her cool daughter.
Like I think this is all SO interesting when contrasted with Taylor’s relationship with Cassandra. Cass is very very rich. In all honesty, she doesn’t really NEED to work. She can easily take time to spend with her kid, and I think it really shows in how close she and Taylor are.
Just, comparing the two teens and their relationship with their single parent moms in relation to their jobs and their class is just very interesting to me

I have an underrated superpower of "children declaring me to be their bestfriend in minutes to hours".
Idk why they clock me as approachable and goofy but they do and they're right. I have multiple peices of art from kids I don't know the name of (beautiful btw, even if not anatomically correct nd done in crayon XD), I have been declared a best friend mulitple times, I get goodbye hugs over their actual friends and/or relatives.
I am simply superior to common folk. (Read as: I have no dignity and love "childish things" and tangents and loose ended stories. Our cnversation went like - her sister loves labrador retrievers that's awesome! do you wanna see a picture of my dog? Oh you like pink too? Awesome! You think they make a pink sequined beanie in my size? Oh well guess I'll learn how to sew. Oh you know how to sew? Cool! I'm not very good yet. Oh you aren't either? Well then we can be bad at it together and just keep practicing :) [this is genuinely how we talked for like 15 minutes. love my new bestie <3 she's 7 and awesome. probably not gonna see her ever again but I will remember forever])

shoutout to @temmie-loony for giving both karivarry & speedy^3 kids. and shout out to @diannaphantomfiction for their karivarry kids. i love all of them.
separate posts with little headcanons will be made & linked here for more about these kids! these will all be tagged with ‘westwells-queen kidlets.’
neither jesse or thea really wanted to get pregnant since they had put so much stress on their bodies when doing hero stuff. this lead to a long conversation between the three of them that lead to the decision to adopt.
for the most part, they tried to adopt teenagers as they are the least likely to be adopted. and for them, the four cuties they ended up with are just as much family as they would be if they had been fully raised by the three parents.
from oldest to youngest they are:
angelika krystal westwells
samantha “sam” morgana griffin queen-west
jonathan “jon” quincy mclouglin queen-west
jason-dean norman zeilsdorf wells-queen
wally, jesse, & thea settled down in coast city on earth one after retirement & so that’s where all of the kids live & operate out of for their hero business.
the kids are all from different earths & were all adopted under their parents’ three different marriage’s on other earths. but it doesn’t make them any less of siblings as they all love each other despite their different backgrounds.
the four kids ( well--really three as angelika doesn’t join in on their heroing ) call themselves “team wings” as a reference to the bedtime story their parents would tell them--the legend of icarus. that & they didn’t really fit into any of the already established teams that their cousins are continuing.

Dear Chocolatier
This ended up kind of long. I really hope this doesn’t come across as too picky! While I’ve included prompts and general rambling, I can’t predict everything that I’d be interested in--so as long as your idea doesn’t fall under my DNWs, I’ll be happy to read whatever you come up with! This is mostly geared towards fic, since I’m not very good at talking about art, but I’d also be ecstatic about art fills. Full letter under the cut. (Note that I missed nominations, so I was limited to whatever was in the tagset; not all of my favorite relationships in these works are represented.)
What you need to know about me is that most, if not all, of my favorite pairings include some element of opposites attract. I’m not sure that’s the right phrase to use, since it’s often not literal opposites that attract me to a pairing. What I love is when characters have some sort of large difference(s) between them that is impossible to ignore, requires there to be communication between the members of the pairing, and (this is the big one!!) all the members of the relationship love each other in part because of the differences between them as well as recognizing the similarities they have. It’s a bit hard to explain in words, but I hope that helps. To use examples from the pairings I’ve requested: human/elf, human/alien, alien/different alien, human/robot AI, mage/warrior, warrior/diplomat, witch/fairy, angel/demon...I let out a dreamy sigh just typing those out, which should explain how much I love this trope lmao.
I want happy endings. There’s a place for tragedies, but I need to be in a very specific mood to gain satisfaction from them, and right now in my life I can’t really appreciate them much. I generally prefer a “happily ever after”, but “happy for now” is also acceptable (and is more appropriate for several of the pairings on this list). While I enjoy fluff, I’d also be happy with something more dramatic as long as it ultimately has a HEA/HFN. I’ve enjoyed hurt/comfort, but I usually prefer them to be heavy on the comfort.
Regarding smut: I’m fine with or without it. I’m asexual and porn does nothing for me sexually, but I can enjoy erotica, even PWPs, as an exploration of intimacy between characters. (Not necessarily even romantic intimacy--I’ve enjoyed smut about friends with benefits.) Stuff I enjoy in smut: blindfolds; body worship; bondage; cunnilingus; edging; facesitting; femdom/malesub; gentle domination; intercrural; mirror sex; multiple orgasms; mutual masturbation; pegging; praise kink; service topping; vibrators; wax play. And if the scene goes into BDSM territory, aftercare!
However! I am also a very, very big fan of non-sexual intimacy. Kissing, hugging, cuddling, spooning, literal sleeping together, massages, holding hands, words of affirmation...I could go on and on. Love it all. If you headcanon a character in a requested pairing as asexual, go for it!
Special shoutout to characters bathing together (preferably in a very large bathtub or similar body of water). It can easily lead to sex, and I don’t mind if it does, but I almost prefer if it doesn’t cross that line.
General DNW: 24/7 D/s, A/B/O, abuse between characters in requested pairings, ageplay, amnesia, ass to mouth, BDSM society AU, bestiality, bloodplay in settings without magical healing, breathplay, cancer, canon bi character portrayed as straight or gay, canon gay character portrayed as straight or bi, cheating/infidelity by character in a requested pairing, crossovers, daddy/mommy kink, death of a character's parent(s) as a major plot element (references to canon parent death OK but try not to linger too long on it), describing genitals of any kind as "weeping", dub-con, eating disorders, enemas, explicit underage, fake relationship, feederism, fisting, guro, hatesex, humiliation kink, incest, inflation, kidfic (canon kids OK but I'd rather not have a fic centering around them), lactation kink, love triangles, maledom/femsub, necrophilia, nipple clamps, permanent death of a character in a requested pairing, petplay, plots centered around prejudice or -isms, pregnancy, rape/non-con, rape roleplay/consensual non-consent, reader insert, rimming, scat, school-related AU, self-harm, sex in public places, soulmates AU, sounding, spanking, vore, watersports/omorashi, zombies
Some of these fandoms/pairings have more written about them than others. Please don’t take that as an indication that I’ll be disappointed if you pick a pairing or fandom I’ve written less about here--I really will be happy with any of these pairings!
Cinderella Phenomenon
(Psst...this is a free game...consider playing it?)
Delora/Parfait: I didn’t consider this pairing until I saw it in the tagset and now I 100% ship it. Love me a goth witch and pastel fairy couple. I’d like to see them negotiating around the drastically different perceptions of witches and fairies in Angielle. Or maybe something a bit fluffy, like sharing a stolen moment away from the Marchen, or just taking a break from the trials of everyday life.
Pairing-specific DNW: Work set during/after Rumpel’s, Waltz’s, or Fritz’s routes
Lucette Riella Britton/Karma: While I enjoyed the game as a whole, I think Karma’s route was my favorite. For all his eccentricities, Karma recognizes Lucette’s terrible upbringing and how it affected her before the other characters do, and the fact that he’s a prince means that you can get up to some really nice royal intrigue and politics with this pairing. (Also, I wonder--does Karma continue to wear dresses after his curse is broken, just for the fun of it?)
Pairing-specific DNW: Explicit smut (fade-to-black is fine)
Dragon Age
Fandom-specific DNW: Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor sides with templars, rivalmances for DA2 LIs, Cullen as major character
Alistair/Male Surana: Oh, Alistair, my first DA love. Even though he never actually became a templar, he was still trained as one, and I think that could cause some issues in a relationship with a mage. And being an elf mage? Whew. Even though I don’t want something where Alistair becomes king, I’m fine with something where they discuss the possibility of Alistair becoming king, as long as they ultimately decide not to put him on the throne. You could also do something set after DAO/Awakening, where both are active Wardens--maybe they’ve been separated for a few months for Warden-y reasons and they’ve just reunited?
Pairing-specific DNW: Alistair as king, Loghain recruited into Wardens
Fenris/Hawke: Any gender Hawke is fine (I just have m!Fenhawke tagged because it was in the tagset). My Hawke is female, but feel free to write male or nb Hawke; my Hawke is also a mage, because I like the idea of them falling in love despite the tension that causes between them--but if you’d rather write a warrior/rogue Hawke, that’s also good. (If you want to include specific details about my Hawke: she’s named Samantha, specializes in healing, and is mostly purple/joking with a blue/diplomatic streak. I headcanon her as asexual even if it can’t really be replicated in the game. But I’ll be fine with whatever Hawke you choose to write.)
Zevran Arainai/Warden: Like with Fenris, I’m not picky about which genre or origin you pick and only put in the tags in the set for matching purposes. My Zev-romancing Warden is a f!Brosca, but if you prefer another gender/origin, do whatever you want. These two are my favorite enemies-to-lovers pairing, in part because Zevran never had any hard feelings for the Warden in the first place. (And the Warden telling Nathaniel “Some of my best friends have attempted to kill me” during Awakening gains a whole new level of hilarity with romanced Zev.) Zev comes across as a devil-may-care flirt, but he turns out to be a respectful lover if you actually put the effort to get to know him beyond surface level. (Also, that cool-ass Crow armor from the World of Thedas artbook. A+)
Female Lavellan/Josephine Montilyet: Josie! (。♥‿♥。) And I romance her with a f!Lavellan, so it’s a nice coincidence that this was in the tagset lol. I’ll be good with just about anything you come up with for this pairing. Josephine is one of the few non-Dalish characters who at least tries to be respectful of Lavellan’s Dalish heritage, even if she is a bit clumsy about it sometimes. My Lavellan is a lesbian mage named Ilena if you’re interested in including those details, but I’ll be happy with any f!Lavellan.
Josephine Montilyet/Cassandra Pentaghast: Fun fact--I ship this because of a bondage fic I read lmao. They have a very interesting dynamic--a warrior who kills on a regular basis (even if for a good cause); a diplomat who has renounced violence. I won’t be picky about anything for this pairing, either.
Good Omens
Fandom-specific DNW: Reverse AU (I don’t mind these but I’m not interested in receiving one), Aziraphale falling, smut involving Crowley’s snake form, work set before Crowley’s fall, strict top/bottom dynamics
Note: I’ve read the book and watched the series. I’m fine with stuff set in either canon (hence why I requested both). If you want to combine elements from both, that’s cool too.
Aziraphale/Crowley: My most recent love. I have lots and lots of feelings (at least a billion) about these two. Enough that I have a goddamn LIST.
I’m fine with any combination of genders/presentations/efforts/pronouns for these two. I headcanon Aziraphale as being agender with he/him pronouns and Crowley as genderfluid, but again, anything works. Lately I’ve adored fics and art of butch female-presenting Aziraphale, too.
Chubby Aziraphale!! I love!! So much!! Dovetails very well with my interest in body worship (sexual or otherwise). Crowley loves his soft angel!! So much!! And! So much cuddling potential!! (More serious note: I’m not a huge fan of stuff where Aziraphale is extremely self-conscious about his body. Surely he’d miracle himself a different shape if he hated it so much? And he’s been around for millennia, so he’s witnessed beauty standards change drastically over time. It makes more sense in human AUs, but it’s still something I tolerate more than enjoy.)
I’m a big fan of “Aziraphale and Crowley through history” stuff. Pick a time period you like and go wild. Personally, I have a huge soft spot for the 1920s--Crowley would look amazing in a flapper dress. (Realistic or Hollywood-style, take your pick.) (I know that according to the TV script they didn’t see each other between the fight at St James and the church scene, but...bah. Flapper Crowley!!) Some great opportunities for mutual pining, or if you want to write an AU where they got together before the Notpocalypse, go for it.
I have a big soft spot for stuff where Crowley is in his snake form (no smut, please--if the story turns that way I want him in his human form for sex)
I will never ever get tired of “first love confession” or “first kiss” stories for these two because I am a romantic sap who just wants them to be happy (they’ve spent so long not being able to be close to each other! they deserve it!!)
Outsider POVs: “random normal person weirded out by bizarre relationship between fussy bookseller and his goth husband” is one of my favorite fandom tropes
Praise kink! I mentioned this in my general smut likes but it bears repeating here. The major fanon is Crowley having a praise kink, which is wonderful and valid (tfw your crush calls you nice and it turns you on so much you try to play it cool by shoving him against a wall). I’ve seen some stuff recently with Aziraphale having a praise kink and now that’s an idea. (He’s spent so long just wanting to be good for Heaven! Even though Heaven’s standard for what’s good is kind of terrible and they hate him anyway so he’d never be good enough for them! But Crowley knows that Aziraphale is good and he’s more than willing to tell him every little thing he loves about him! aaaaaaaa) Regardless of who has the kink, I think they’d be a bit embarrassed at first at having it found out (Crowley: “Being turned on by compliments? C’mon, that’s not me” [it’s totally him]/Aziraphale: “It’s...a bit selfish, isn’t it?” [but since when has that stopped him]), but the other would be more than willing to indulge. (And while Aziraphale is naturally suited to provide praise, given how good he is with words, I think Crowley could grow into the role too, in his own way.)
Heart of the Woods
Tara Bryck/Morgan Fischer, Abigail Dalsing/Madison Raines: I put these two together because they’re so intertwined in the original game, but if you want to focus on one pairing over the other, that’s great! Something that really interests me would be seeing how Morgan and especially Abby would react to the...idiosyncrasies of modern-day America. Also, Abby being introduced to the internet could be hilarious. (Also also, Morgan getting to live her best butch life, and Tara being her slightly overly enthusiastic cheerleader.) On a more serious note, how does Maddie move on after leaving Taranormal?
Lake of Voices
(Psst...this is also a free game...consider playing it too?)
Kikka/Margret: I’m less interested in fluff for this pairing thanks to how dark the original material is, but I’d still rather not have something totally grim. Margret’s route isn’t truly romantic, not really, but considering the short period of time the game takes place during, that’s not surprising--so I’d like to see how their relationship progresses after the events of the game.
Mass Effect Trilogy
Fandom-specific DNW: Sabotaging the genophage cure; Control/Synthesis/Refusal endings; synthetics dying in Destroy ending (yes I know this is canon, no I don’t care; please don’t do post-ME3 if you aren’t willing to work around this); dead Wrex; no peace between geth and quarians (for ME3)
Female Shepard/Garrus Vakarian: While Shakarian isn’t my favorite ME pairing, I do still love it. No Shepard without Vakarian, after all. They work so well as a battle couple and have such great chemistry. My Garrus-romancing Shepard is a Paragade Vanguard named Elliott, Earthborn/War Hero if you want those details.
Female Shepard & Mordin Solus: Death DNW doesn’t apply to this one; hit me with all the feels over Mordin’s death (I don’t like what you have to do for him to survive). Or avoid the issue by doing something set during ME2. Alien Sex Ed is always a classic trope, or something more serious regarding Mordin’s past as an STG operative or his work with the genophage.
Grunt & Female Shepard: Shepard is very proud of her strong krogan vat bby.
Kolyat Krios & Female Shepard: With or without Shep/Thane (”YOU’RE NOT MY REAL MOM”), either works. If there’s romance, how does Kolyat react to his missing dad showing up with a human girlfriend? Does Shepard try to become a part of Kolyat’s life or does she try to stay out of it? There’s less reason for Shepard to get involved if there’s no Thanemance, but I think there’s still opportunity there, since Kolyat and Thane keep in contact after the loyalty mission is completed.
Pairing-specific DNW: Thane dying
Thane Krios/Female Shepard: My favorite ME pairing! At least until BW fucked it up in ME3. (I still kind of haven’t forgiven them.) They have a very mature relationship, I think--both of them a bit weary--and they find solace in each other, at least until the inevitable. I would prefer a fic set during ME2, or in the time period between the end of ME2 and Shepard being detained before ME3. If you want to make something set during ME3, I’d like to see him receive treatment (not necessarily a cure, though I won’t complain if you go that route, but preferably something more realistic than “oh I took a pill and now I’m all better!” or similar) for Kepral’s. I also don’t like the defeatist “well, I guess I’m just gonna lay down and die now” attitude he has when you meet him at Huerta in ME3; it clashes so much with his entire ME2 arc, which has him realize that he does still have things to live for (his son, for one, and Shepard if you romance him). If you’re interested in details about my Shepard: her name is Diana; she’s a Paragon Infiltrator, Colonist/War Hero.
Pairing-specific DNW: Excessive focus on his illness (I know it’s a big part of his character, and I don’t expect people to avoid it entirely, but I don’t enjoy stuff that’s centered totally around it); Irikah bashing or trying to portray her as unimportant
Nyreen Kandros/Aria T’Loak: (STILL SCREAMING ABOUT BADASS TURIAN LADY) I want to see something from when these two were still together, or a fix-it where Nyreen doesn’t die and she and Aria enter a (possibly uneasy) truce. Less concerned about happiness for this one as long as neither of them dies; I’m fine if it ends up that their relationship just doesn’t work out.
EDI/Samantha Traynor: Geeky lesbian with a robot kink + sexy fembot = ooh la la. On a serious note, how would a human/AI relationship work? There’s a lot of possibilities here.
Stardew Valley
Fandom-specific DNW: Player siding with Joja-Mart
Abigail/Female Player, Elliott/Player, Leah/Female Player, Maru/Female Player: I’m putting these together not because I think they’re interchangeable (they’re not), but because what I want is basically the same for each of them--slice-of-life about the farmer and their partner (either dating or married...or dating then married; no kids please), with emphasis on how the partner’s personality and lifestyle meshes, or doesn’t mesh, with the player’s farm life. Maybe there’s conflicts that have to be resolved, compromises that have to be made. (But I do want them to eventually work it out and be happy together.) If you pick Elliott/Player, I’m fine with whatever gender farmer you want.
Sweet Fuse: At Your Side
Inafune Saki/Meoshi Kouta: One thing I enjoyed about Meoshi’s route is how he doesn’t have to give up games entirely in order to deserve love and improve as a person, he just develops a healthier relationship with gaming. I like the idea of Kouta participating in a fighting game tournament with Saki cheering him on...or maybe he taught her how to play and she’s a competitor too now? DUN DUN DUN. (but it’s all in good fun)
Pairing-specific DNW: Explicit smut (fade-to-black is fine)
Original Work
Dethroned and Dishonored Queen/Lone Loyal Female Knight
Lady Locked in a Tower/Lady Who Turns Into a Hawk
Female Werewolf Hunter/Her Boyfriend Who Gets Turned Into a Werewolf
Female Tall Muscular Badass/Female Short Chubby Nerd
Hiker/Sporty Girl Who Sprained Her Ankle Miles from Nowhere
Grumpy Lonely Sorceress/Female Courtesan She Hires for a Ritual
Female Witch/Female Werewolf
Female Witch/Female Demon She Accidentally Summons
Female Knight/Female Bath Attendant with a Crush
Female Gamer/Female Bookworm
Female Court Painter/Impatient Princess Sitting for a Painting
Female Armorsmith/Female Warrior Who Needs Frequent Repairs
Female Adventurer Lost in the Snow/Female Fire Spirit
Male Speakeasy Bartender/Male Speakeasy Piano Player
Librarian/Her Monster-Hunting Wife Who Keeps Dragging Her Into Wacky Supernatural Adventures
Sensible Royal Guardswoman/Arrogant but Skilled Court Sorceress
Dark Mage/Light Mage
Beleaguered Playwright/Actress Cursed to Ruin Any Show She’s In
Female Vampire/Female Vampire Hunter
Victorian Lady/Victorian Lady
GO WILD. Just don’t hit my DNWs. For the pairings that don’t specify the genders of both members, I’d prefer f/f works.

the trash is finally here ?? who would’ve thought ? not me that’s for damn sure. but anyway hello i’m gav ( she/her ) and this is my second time around in the rp and well let’s hope “the third time is a charm” doesn’t reign true in my case. anyway let me get on with telling you about these trash characters.
trigger warnings: attempted murder & kidnapping mention.
CINDY KIMBERLY, CIS FEMALE, SHE/HER — have you met antonia marie fonseca yet ? the eighteen year old is known for being both forthright and urbane, but also very disorganized and amoral. born in california, nia now lives in soho, being an instagram model.
born and raised in los angeles, california to a lower-middle class family.
their life was pretty normal, parents working paycheck to paycheck, money problems weighing heavily on her parent's minds but they never let their children know.
she's the middle child of three, with a younger brother and older sister. they were all very close, only being a year apart from each other.
things changed when she was fifteen and her sister had gotten into acting. it was a pilot for a new abc show and truthfully, nia didn't see it going anywhere. ( lmao she HOPED it wouldn't go anywhere ) but rip it was renewed for another season ( and three more after that ).
with her growing fame, came the jealously. jealously over the fact her sister was getting so much attention from her parents, fans, literally anyone you can think of. and because she couldn't control said jealously, she began to push her sister away and inherently because it was easier to deal with everything from a distance.
when she was seventeen, she took up "modeling" on instagram. ( because she's the self-proclaimed "hotter sister" ) and for the first time, she was the one getting the attention and she loved it.
she’s very impetuous. never really thinks twice about the things she says or does.
lowkey very insecure. tries to make up for it with copious amounts of sex. ( it never works )
decided to move to la when her sister had to move there as well for a movie role and just never left.
frequents her sister’s instagram .. any time she gets lower than 100k likes, nia posts another picture of herself as a “fuck you”.
HAILEY BALDWIN, CIS FEMALE, SHE/HER — have you met aspen clarice demerson yet ? the twenty-one year old is known for being both polished and gregarious, but also very vindictive and pugnacious. born in cheshire, aspen now lives in chelsea, tending to her modelling career.
she’s loosely based off once upon a time’s interpretation of cruella de vil ?? what a Mess already. like … THIS GIF is aspen demerson ??
is originally from cheshire ( shoutout to my main mans horton steels for the inspo ) so that makes her v british. if you hear someone with a heavy accent yelling about their louboutins getting scuffed then it’s probs her.
her mother and father were both from old money and made even more together with their business endeavors so she lived a very lush lifestyle—had parents, maids, etc that doted on her. she never had to worry about ONE thing.
some would think her lash lifestyle would have lead to her absolutely brattiness towards everyone growing up but nope, aspen just came out of the womb that way.
fr she treats her parents—who are ANGELS™—like trash and doesn’t think twice about it. actually she wonders why people try to scold her for it ??
can probably find her listening to greek tragedy by the wombats bc she’s that Bitch.
a v calculated person; knows what she wants and how to get it. if she wants something from you, she can play you and have it gone before you notice you’re playing into her scheme. if she doesn’t ?? you dont even exist to her tbh.
part of her sometimes wants to pull a lucrezia borgia and have a hallow ring she can use to poison the drinks of the ppl she hates the most .. maybe One Day.
v gray-romantic like she’ll fuq you but you never have to worry about her suddenly having feelings, her having feelings ( lol what are emotions, she asks ) is a rare occasion tbh.
basically she’s a soulless bitch who, if given the chance, would poison your drink and not think about it twice ( only to reminisce but to feel bad ?? nah )
LILY COLLINS, CIS FEMALE, SHE/HER — have you met samantha josefine gale ? the twenty-five year old is known for being both idiosyncratic and stoic, but also very stringent and distant. born in seattle, sam now lives in chelsea, working as a publicist.
currently twenty-five and working as a publicist to her twin sister, simini.
literally couldn’t care less about anything, if you were to tell her a joke she would just stare at you like |:
but that’s only because she’s spent so long forgoing any feelings about anything after her mother attempted to m*rder her sister.
it fucked with her brain a lot, especially the aftermath when simini went off the rails because of the altercation.
she kept her own emotions bottled up solely for simini’s sake, she didn’t want her sister to see her being Weak when she was already in a fragile state herself ( has to go to therapy weekly bc of this lmao and she’s also on antidepressants ).
she loves simini so much tho, would probs die for her but instead decided to take on the job of being her manager ( which really entails her cleaning up the messy things simini does so the public doesn’t find out ).
her sexuality is very up in the air atm. it’s something she thinks about rarely but when she does it’s a very confusing topic to her.
is probably silently judging you always with a straight face, waiting for an inevitable fuck up before telling you “i knew that would happen”.
has been a vegan since she was twenty. every time someone makes a backhanded comment she’s just giving them the |:< face.
honestly she’s just here to make sure her sister doesn’t make an entire mess of herself.
NINA DOBREV, CIS FEMALE, SHE/HER — have you met noelle isabella yates yet ? the twenty-five year old is known for being both audacious and jubilant, but also very reticent and turbulent. born in copenhagen, elle now lives in harrow, working as a waitress.
a twenty-five year old that was born and raised in copenhagen, denmark
life was “normal”, noelle being very close with all her siblings ( even if her two sisters were always butting heads ).
always the mom friend in every situation ever. could be drunk off her ass and she’s still offering you water, crackers and tylenol to make sure YOU’RE okay.
was attending university ( majoring in psychology ) when her sister, imogen, was kidnapped. the experience was very harrowing for her. she went from having a best friend and a sister to someone who had no idea who she was.
it’s what forced her to pack up, ask her parent’s for money and start backpacking through south american and then back through europe. meeting new people and seeing new places helped elevate the stress that came with the entire ordeal.
but when she was in ireland and after a night of partying, she woke up in a hotel room with a ring on her finger. she had no recollection of getting married or the person she had been married to. needless to say, she left the ring on the bedside table and fled. ( she’s technically still married, just chooses not to talk about them )
unfortunately has a vlog channel where she documented the entire time she was backpacking ( except the whole marriage thing )
after phoning her parents and finding out imogen had moved to london and opened her own business, she decided to visit her. it was only after spending a day with her she realized how much she had missed her and made london the last place she visited.
tried being vegan once ... it was terrible. which is ironic because she’s a waitress at her sister’s vegan restaurant. she tries not to think about that.
ANYWAY that’s it for now i think. i’m setting up a muse + plots page for all of them but if you would like to brainstorm pls free to hmu <3

“The Altered Adventure: Secrets of the Cyclone: Grave Robbers (Chp 10)” Reaction
This will probably be the most different from the Minecraft roleplay. That’s exciting.
If you don’t want spoilers, stop scrolling down and blacklist “altered adventure spoilers” or “secrets of the cyclone”
I’m actually sad that Brayden wasn’t that involved in the book. I was under the impression that he would. Well, if the future books at least clarify his motives, I don’t care if he’s underused. Just fix the plot holes.
I thought campfire was a typo. Omg, I loved that joke. (There are a few typos and formatting errors in this book, btw)
Omg, Letvia and Inferno finally appear. Yuuuussss
Omg, guys, the novel is giving so much Voice/Letvia shipping fuel. I think this book is trying to redeem itself with how the roleplay treated Voice/Letvia
LETVIA, YOU’RE BLUE NOW. THAT’S MY ATTACK. Third time. Her skin is actually blue. I assume she’s a Justment. So Justments give no shit about what color they look like. But I want to know what their bodies look like figure-wise and what sets them apart from NPCs.
Inferno looks exactly the same.
I like the tension between these Guardians and the different opinions.
Without his body, Voice felt anxious and empty. And 136% done with all the puns he had to hear
Graves just pop out like daisies? Ok. I can roll with that. It feels like a video game. First the quest vibe. Now this. These aspects make me excited about Altered.
“rip Samantha Telling. You had a very weird name. Like, what parents in their right mind would name someone Samantha in Altered?” I wonder if Samantha Telling is a shoutout/easter egg that I don’t know.
Poor Betsy and Gizzy :( Why did they have to make this hurt
Elizabeth is more appreciated that Barath. Rip Barath. Rip. Still the least favorite Guardian of them all
Gizzy’s asking Benji for advice. That’s a step :D
A trap to anyone who steals the keys. Courtesy of the Guardians. Now that’s what I call actually protecting the Prophecy.
I’m glad there’s flaws to the morph ability. Coming to think about it, I think the morph ability is more balanced in the novel. It’s harder to kill things in the real world than in Minecraft, so it will be harder to gain new forms. I’m starting to appreciate this power
Daaaang. A skeleton army o_o This really escalated from the wolf pack and Ratchet
Barath was destroyed by his own hammer. How ironic. And finally Gizzy uses that hammer for once
Clayton, goddamnit. Have you been following him all this time?
I feel so worried for Gizzy and Benji. Who’s gonna save them this time? Not Betsy, that’s for sure.
Ouch. Hit in the head. …is it bad that I’m hoping for one of those flashbacks?
Yaaay, flashback
Omg. Please don’t mess up with Ratchet’s character and the timeline continuity. Pleeeeeaaaase. I’m begging you.
Witch left his chill back in the Minecraft roleplay. He’s so dramatic in the novels.
Oooooooooh, Voice. That was SAVAGE
“Egotistical notion” Witch is implying that Voice is saving the world just to improve his image. I can take this in two ways. 1: Voice loves his reputation, will do anything to secure it and thinks saving the world is the best way to do so. He’s not saving the world for the lives, but for himself, and doesn’t care if people get hurt. Or 2: Voice is so concerned about being Altered’s best Guardian. He feels like he has no choice but to prioritize the Prophecy over Aurona because he believes it’s what’s expected of him. He doesn’t want to fail Altered and make the people fall into despair.
“you’re going to pay for those words” BY BECOMING WORDS
Witch is also calling Voice hypocritical.
“This, Voice, is a fitting punishment for such a ridiculous name.” OOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOH BUUUUUUURN. So apparently, in Altered, Shamas, Witch, Letvia, Samantha and Alpha are acceptable names. But being named Voice is a tragedy. Lol.
Looks like Voice’s attacks are weak when he has no body. I like that limitation.
Ok, the book doesn’t acknowledge the timeline continuity nor Ratchet’s motives. It better not had mess it up…
Seriously, Gizzy needs to get his head checked for a concussion. He won’t survive long enough to kill the Demon if he’s suffering internal bleeding.
Witch as ashamed? Gypsy has no chill? OMG, did he just SLAP his son? Omg, they’re both crying?? Omg. No nooooo. Omg. Witch’s mental breakdown reminds me of my Witch Redemption AU. I don’t know if I should be happy for the similarities or be even sadder. Aaaaaaah Omg. We finally get Witch’s backstory…but I don’t know what to make out of it :’D
Aurona overshadowed Witch. But Witch still cares about him.
Ok, Witch’s motives are better explained. I like that.
“You will become king of Altered” *DESK SLAM* STOP LYING. We know this isn’t true! The book describes Gypsy as uncertain when he said that. But why is Gypsy insisting it anyway? I hope this is addressed later.
Witch says that the Guardians made him look bad…but he is bad. He did a lot of bad stuff in the Minecraft roleplay. I wonder how the novel series is gonna present this guy. So far, he’s someone I sympathize for.
I’m finding so much info that aligns with my Witch redemption AU too :D Differences are Witch being more sentimental and being the older brother
I’m kinda confused…the Chosen One and the savior of Altered…are not the same thing. ???
Dang, Ratchet is still villainous. I’m starting to doubt that he will receive a redemption. Like, at this point, Witch has a better chance to be redeemed that Voice and Ratchet
I’m still confused about the Prophecy. It can either make Witch king or take Gizzy home. I hope this is addressed better later. If I didn’t knew about the Minecraft roleplay, I would assume that the Prophecy is something that grants people wishes.
Also, I noticed that Gypsy didn’t say that his time was coming to an end…hmm…
There’s one great thing about making Aurona and Gizzy children in the books: it questions morality. Witch was angry at Voice for separating him from Aurona (a child), but he was ok with Voice’s plan to separate Gizzy (another child) from his family. So, is Witch just as bad as Voice?
I don’t know what to think about Witch. His character is not clearly defined with all these different perspectives. Like, this info contradicts the info from chapters 2 and 3. I want to analyze this later and figure out why the narrator lied about Witch in chapters 2 and 3.
Did Witch agree to Voice’s plan willingly or unwillingly? What did Witch do as a Guardian? So many questions, but they can’t be answered in the book.

2016 Music Madness
Super super overdue but again I wanted to commemorate another good year in music and I definitely think there are some fantastic songs out there despite all the viral ones that only became famous because of challenges-memes. For those who read last year’s list you’d also notice I added new categories (signposted as ‘new’). Hope everyone will try to check out these songs just to get out of your comfort zone but also so that we can discuss them (and fangirl over the artists(!!))
Album of the Year Carly Rae Jensen - Side B
This was a tough one. I’m super biased because I almost awarded Emotion AotY in 2015 but it was beaten by Adele’s later release of 25. This year I was still happily listening to the songs in Emotion but around March Carly released the *songs that didn’t make the cut/didn’t make it to Emotion* and I was so f@*%ing ecstatic because I wanted more of her 80s synth-pop songs. Will be discussing my faves from Side B below.
The reason it was tough was because I also just discovered Alessia Cara’s Know-It-All (released late 2015) in 2016 and I really really like her songs too (pun intended). She is so refreshing not just with her non-pretentious MVs but it’s the first time since Taylor, Adele and Carly that I truly thought the lyrics were great and relatable and were written by a true artist (or maybe I’ve just not tried to discover that many artists in a hot minute). So I’m giving Know-It-All the runner-up award to Best Album of 2016 (even though technically it’s a 2015 album).
Best Comeback - None I can think of/that is notable
Most Surprising Album (in a good way) - Troye Sivan’s Blue Nieighbourhood and Charlie Puth’s Nine Track Mind
Don’t wish to belabor this but I just find it a recurring experience of mine that the first single off any album I almost always am annoyed by. Just like when I initially thought Adele’s Hello was annoyingly sombre when it first came out (because she said it was kind of a ‘revival’ album–of her coming to terms with everything that’s happened in her life so far, so I wasn’t expecting Hello to be the first single off 25, was expecting something more upbeat and revival-y). Anyhoo, Youth from Blue Neighbourhood and Marvin Gaye from Nine Track Mind annoyed the f%@# out of me too initially. Probably because they were always on the radio but I guess like Hello they were songs that just grew on you more than anything. And for the record I understand why the song was named Marvin Gaye but my goodness if he was gonna name a song after a classic artist I feel that the song should’ve at least channeled the artist’s style at the very least? It happened that it was only alluding to the mood that Marvin Gaye songs put people in which is such a waste because Marvin Gaye was a true thespian and master of his craft (listen to What’s Going On and you’ll know what I mean).
Fave New Artist (New) Zara Larsson
People are calling her the ‘White Rihanna’ which I think is unfair because although there are similarities in their music Rihanna is such a queen in her genre and Zara is just starting out (she’s only 19!! Omg I feel so unaccomplished) but I have confidence that this girl is gonna go far (not to say she’ll be Taylor Swift big but I think we haven’t seen much of her yet/she’s only just begun).
fave songs of 2016 (in no particular order) Carly Rae Jensen - Fever, Higher and Store Alessia Cara - I’m yours, Scars to your Beautiful and Overdose Troye Sivan- Wild (ft. Alessia Cara) and Heaven (ft. Betty Who) Charlie Puth - We Don’t Talk Anymore (ft. Selena Gomez), Marvin Gaye (ft. Meghan Trainor) Zara Larsson - Ain’t My Fault and I Would Like Flume - Never Be Like You Michael Posner - I took a pill in Ibiza James Arthur - Say You Won’t Let Go Little Mix - Shoutout to My Ex The Weeknd - I Feel It Coming Maroon 5 - I Dont Wanna Know Drake - One Dance and Too Good (ft. Rihanna) Middle - DJ Snake Chainsmokers - Closer (ft. Halsey) Cashmere Cat - Trust Nobody (ft. Selena Gomez) DNCE - Body Moves Neikd - Sexual Léon - Treasure Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna - This is what you came for
Honorable Mentions Chainsmokers - All We Know and Dont Let Me Down Charlie Puth - Dangerously Meghan Trainor - No Shawn Mendez - Treat You Better and Mercy Flume - Say It (ft. Tove Lo) The Veronicas - On Your Side The Weeknd - Starboy Demi Lovato - body Say Jonas Blue ft. JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers DNCE - Toothbrush Léon - Tired of Talking (remix) Jonas Blue - By Your Side Bad things - Machine gun Kelly ft. Camilla Cabello
DJ Snake ft. justin Bieber - Let Me Love You
Most Overrated Song (New) Side to Side - Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj
Im a fan of both artists (don’t judge but yes I listen to Nicki from time to time) but I just couldn’t with this song. I don’t know what the hype is all about.
Most Disappointing Song Release/Collaboration (New) Cold Water - Major Lazer and Justin Bieber
I enjoy some of Major Lazer's songs and as you know I selected Justin as best comeback of 2015 but even though this song went into the top 10 charts I was still disappointed. Not their best work tbh.
Artist with Potential (but needs to tweak his/her current Sound - New) Bebe Rexha - trying too hard to be edgy but I think she’ll shine with more ballads (In the Name of Love ft. G-Eazy was pretty good)
Annoying (but still OK) Can’t stop the feeling - Justin Timberlake Black Beatles - Rae Sremmurd
When Trolls came out, this. song. Was. Everywhere. All. The. Damned. Time. Black Beatles was slightly better because I didn’t mind it with the mannequin challenge–but really it was everywhere too😅 #annoyingaf
Best Animated Movie Song (New) How Far I’ll Go - both Auli'i Cravalho and Alessia Cara versions
Shoutout to Disney for finally getting a Pacific Islander Princess. Some problematic Orientalisms and slight cultural appropriation aside, I’m letting it slide because wtf at least Disney is trying and we all know diversity has to start somewhere. Moana was a good first step and as a Pacific Islander myself I really dont mind it. First time ever that I can 100% fully relate to a Disney Princess even down to the overprotective parents and amazing grandma😭😂😝 I cried watching. Twice (or maybe thrice oops).
Most Annoying Song (shouldn’t have been made) Juju on the Beat - Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall
Read up on this because it was such a WTF Song moment and what I found out was that these were two middle school boys who wanted to go viral on the internet. Yes, boys. Yes, because they wanted to be viral. Go figure why this song sucks 🙃
Album I recognise as a work of art but I just can’t get on the bandwagon (New) Lemonade - Beyoncé (maybe it’ll grow on me too but atm I still can’t and please don’t hate me I’m just being honest)
Indie Music I couldn’t stop listening to (New) A Place You Like - ISLAND Her and Drive - Glades Wake Up Where You Are - State of Sound
Spotify playlist most played (New) Today’s Top Hits Quiet Evening Throwback Thursday
Oldies but goodies/Old Songs I like and rediscovered in 2016 (New) Just the Way You Are - Billy Joel Fast Car - Tracy Chapman
Notable Cover Songs Shane Ericks - the Carpenter’s You cover and Love Me for What I Am cover Citizen Four - I Feel it Coming cover and Black Beatles cover (with Kurt Hugo Schneider) Alex Aiono and William Singe - Black Beatles and Confessions mashup Harvey and Samantha Harvey - We Don’t Talk Anymore and Perfect Strangers mashup Alex G and Sam Tsui - We Don’t Talk Anymore and I Don’t Wanna Know mashup The Three of Us - Middle cover Jonas Blue - Fast Car cover
The Good Riddance Award (New) Fifth Harmony - for axe-ing Camilla Cabello because she was so antithetical to the idea of a 5th harmony. She was always a diva (music-wise in that she ALWAYS sticks out and doesn’t even try to blend with the rest). I’m kinda over her tbh and that’s not to say I don’t think she’s good. I do think she’s a great singer. She just was never a girl-group player.

Erik Malpica Flores Erik Malpica Flores recommends: SUITS Recap: The Real Samantha Wheeler
While SUITS has been dragged down by a lack of forward movement — beyond the usual circular storytelling — for its longtime characters, the series’ latest episode finally cleared up some of the mystery surrounding eighth-season-newcomer Samantha Wheeler. In Sam’s first several episodes as a major player at Whatever This Firm Is Called, any backstory she provided was almost immediately erased by some other Insert Firm Name Here employee’s discovery that she told a completely different tale to someone else. Not so in “The Greater Good.” This time, it was Sam‘s turn to find out that something she thought was true about her past wasn’t exactly as she’d remembered it; and SUITS viewers had the unique chance to see some actual facts about where this newest name partner had come from.
And, of course, there were the subplots involving otherwise intelligent folks’ repetitive inability to make good choices.
On SUITS, we develop one character. If, when Katherine Heigl’s addition to SUITS was first announced, you had told me that the best part of the series’ eighth season — or at least the first 81.25% of it —  was her character’s development from obnoxious Woman of Mystery to Real, Complex Human…Well. Let’s just say the response wouldn’t have been great. In fact, recaps of SUITS season 8’s earliest episodes weren’t exactly kind Heigl or Wheeler. But here we are. So, let’s do this thing.
Sam’s attempt at being a responsible adult and getting to work on time was a failure. But unlike some folks, she actually had a legitimate reason for leaving home a bit later than planned: a visit from her foster mother, Judy O’Brien. Judy was in trouble because Corey, one of her current foster children, had been pulled over in her car with a bunch of pills. Rather than see Corey’s life ruined, Judy was trying to cover for him; but she needed Sam to keep her out of any criminal trouble in order to be allowed to continue to provide a stable, loving home for her remaining foster children.
Right from the start, Sam wanted Judy to let Corey face the consequences of his own actions, but Judy didn’t want to see Corey face the same fate that Sam once did: “I lost you all those years ago, and I have never regretted anything more. I can’t let something like that happen again.”
(My notes: “I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS!” The SUITS team: Ok! But you have to sit through the Catrina and Donna being very unDonna, too! Me: I’ll take it…for now.)
Because she was conflicted about whether or not she should even take Judy’s case, Sam’s first stop was to see Papa Zane, who was the absolute perfect support system for her throughout the entire ordeal. If the lawyers’ history seemed fake when this new character suddenly appeared, it was certainly validated here.
After a failed attempt at shaking down the prosecutor left Samantha with the realization that this case wasn’t going to be the slam dunk she had hoped, she visited Judy at home — the very place where Sam herself had once lived — in order to deliver the bad news. Things went from bad to worse, though, when Judy let it slide that the state hadn’t exactly ripped Sam away from her all those years ago. She was given a choice and ultimately decided to sacrifice her troublemaking foster daughter for the good of the other children. And Judy refused to repeat a decision that she had come to regret, meaning she refused to accept any deal that involved hurting Corey.
Unable to deal with the news that one of her worst memories was even worse than she’d ever imagined, Sam left Judy and planned to drop the case. This would have made for a pretty short SUITS episode — or, even worse, one with more time for shenanigans — though, so it was time for a bit of an intervention.
Back at The Law Firm of Names and Changing Names, it was Papa Zane who was, yet again, ready to be the  best of mentors. He helped Sam to realize that it must have killed Judy to have to admit what happened, and “sometimes, being a parent is living with choices that break your heart.” Ultimately, though, Sam turned out pretty well; and it was this knowledge and her own (redacted) rap sheet that wound up helping keep Judy out of trouble.
While the prosecutor had initially thought that Sam was just some hotshot lawyer, it was her own criminal past that helped her save Judy without ruining Corey’s life. Using her own success in the face of so many early mistakes, Sam was able to convince the prosecutor that taking Corey — or any of the children — away from Judy would prevent from having the opportunity to become a productive member of society like she, eventually, had. Because sometimes, making a tough choice, like the one that Judy made in giving Sam up, is what it takes to be the best possible mother.
Through Sam, SUITS told a great story about the pain that’s sometimes involved in doing the right thing, the many ways just one mistake can change a life, and the possibility that even the biggest screwups can become the greatest successes. Maybe there’s hope.
Speaking of big screwups: Harvey Specter. In SUITS’ seventh season, Harvey finally dumped Paula had Donna ask Stu to do something shady involving a stock. If you forgot about this, you’re not alone. Now, a full season later, that bad move came back to haunt literally everyone. Who’s surprised? Nobody? Good.
Nick, a guy who was basically out for Stu’s throne, spent the entirety of “The Greater Good” trying to blackmail Stu into stepping down, all while Harvey and a barely-focused Donna scrambled to patch things up. It was almost as if they should have learned by now that breaking the law, even if it means helping innocent people keep their jobs, is a terrible idea that will cause trouble later. But why learn, when you can keep doing the same thing over and over, all while having the ego to expect different results?
Harvey’s latest attempt at keeping himself and Donna out of jail involved…trying to get Mike Ross’s former prison boyfriend, Kevin Miller, to try to get Nick to back off. Something about giving him the “hey, Harvey Specter’s someone you don’t mess with” line or whatever? I don’t know. Nobody does — least of all Harvey himself.
Mr. Best Closer In The City also asked (demanded for) Sean Cahill to step in; but that meant admitting to breaking the law, which Cahill promised he’d throw Harvey in jail for if he ever came back asking for another favor like this one. Of course, just as it seemed inevitable that Stu would have to step aside and live on only the massive amount of wealth he’d accumulated thus far, rather than making even more, Harvey realized that he could go to Cahill but with a different take on the whole situation: prove that Nick was out to blackmail folks, which was worse than undercutting stocks.
Rah, rah. Everybody wins…except for SUITS viewers, left wondering why this with so few episodes left.
Of course, it wouldn’t be SUITS if some personal matters weren’t leaked into the legal drama like breadcrumbs to feed those of us just starving for meaningful content. There was the realization that Donna Paulsen, the woman who had always loved her job and fought for it so hard — even when it meant her ruining her whatever-he-is’ relationship with someone else — was suddenly totally fine with being late for work because she’d had a late night with a guy she’d known for five minutes. And, of course, it was predictably exciting to see Harvey get on edge the second Nick brought Donna’s name to the list of people he was taking down.
Perhaps the best part of the whole saga was the shot of a successful, yet lonely, Harvey Specter making calls to Mike’s voicemail about Cahill and the prison boyfriend, just before Donna ignored his two — two! — calls to get ready for another night with Sir Thomas The Presumptuous.
But if all of this has zero payoff, as it has for eight seasons, then it’s just about as pointless as getting Kevin Miller out of prison, only to ask him to risk his newly-stable life to help you save your own sorry hide.
So, we’ll see.
This and that.
“Samantha, when you care about someone, you fight twice as hard.” Mhm.
See also: Harvey fighting for his platonic coworker.
“Be careful what you say next and who you threaten.” GO HARVEY GO. “Looks like I touched a nerve.” HE DID.
We’ve seen all of that before, and yet.
Imagine being so hellbent on keeping a kid from selling some pills that you’re willing to ruin a 65-year-old woman, who you know to be innocent, and her other current and (potential) future foster children. Can’t relate to the system! Don’t want to!
Regardless of where anything else does or doesn’t go, or how frustrating it all may be, that “I miss you, buddy” was golden. As in, it receives a gold medal for creating pain. That may just be the theme of this SUITS episode, honestly.
“Let me just get this straight: Rather than fight for me or even tell me the truth, you gave up? And then years later, walk into my home to have me save you from making the same mistake again.” This performance had me on the floor. Good job, Katherine Heigl.
Also, everything about that previous line, up to and including “you gave up,” could have been from a certain dumb male to a certain just-as-dumb female. I’ll see myself out.
Ok, I’ll admit it: I laughed at the “severance package” Harvey showed Nick.
“I always thought it was the state that took me from her. It turns out it was Judy. She put me back in the system, just when I thought I had a real home. So, tell me: Why should I stick by her, when she didn’t stick by me?” Everything hurts, and I loved this.
“You raised this?” “I did, and I’m proud of her.” CRYING.
“This is where the gravy train ends, and if you ever threaten me again, I’ll take you down on the spot.” Shoutout to Neal McDonough’s Sean Cahill, as always.
I didn’t get a chance to weave the Catrina (Craig from Degrassi x Katrina, for those of you just now joining us) drama into the rest of this, but Louis’ reaction was beautiful. “The only thing I think about you is that you are the same brilliant, wonderful, quirky woman that I’ve had the honor of working with all these years. And that’s never going to change.” I LOVE LOUIS THE WORK DAD. Still not a fan of Louis the ass-slapper, though.
The other takeaway from the Catrina drama? Donna Paulsen needs help. Like. Let’s examine: “I mean, I know what it’s like to have complicated issues with someone you work with — especially when that person can’t have a real conversation about it.” POT, KETTLE, BLACK. Does a “real conversation” involve kissing someone who’s in a relationship, then lying about how it meant nothing?
“Are you talking about…?” “You know who I’m talking about, Katrina.” Yes, we all do. It’s exhausting.
“Sometimes, the answer is to fall for someone who has nothing to do with this place at all.” I’m. Is Donna sick? Is she being held hostage? Is this a pod Donna? Did she borrow some of Craig from Degrassi’s drugs or, like, Corey’s pills??? Clients now have “nothing to do with this place at all,” I guess?????
Ok. Enough of that. Samantha Wheeler and Robert Zane deserve better than to have this SUITS recap end on a low note. So. Let’s talk about the awesome scene where Louis chewed Robert out for bailing on his case was. “That’s enough! I’m not going to listen to another word of your delusions. Because from the minute I stepped down, all I’ve done is help you.” That’s what I’m talking about.
And Vulnerable!Louis? That’s some gourmet shit right there. “It is just…so…much. The pressure, it’s just. Too much.” Been there, hated it.
Catch more SUITS on Wednesday, February 13, at 10/9c on USA.

#TMIishTuesday #48 - Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood
Hey, Just a little info before we start: If you're following my Twitter, you might have seen my little tweet from last Saturday about maybe filming the whole thing that I write on here and putting the video on YouTube. Well, I thought I'd have a very boring weekend, when I wrote that tweet. The weekend actually was great - but very busy. So… No video today. And since I'll probably be busy the next two weekends as well, I'll have to leave the YouTube thing for later. But who knows… Maybe in the future… There will be… #TMIishTuesday in video form? Anyway, enough of future sh*t, on with the present: Blue Neighbourhood! Hey there mighty people of the internet! And welcome to issue #48 of #TMIishTuesday - my weekly Tumblr post about what goes through my weird mind and what you guys want to know more about. It can be something very personal, it can be something political, it can be completely pointless - but in 99.9 % of the cases, it involves opinions. And mine as well. // Last week I talked about my experiences talking multiple languages in one conversation and/or with the same people. What is it like switching language pretty much half-topic? Which factors made it necessary or desirable to switch languages? Find out in #TMIishTuesday no. 47. // Talking about languages: Did I mention that of all the four languages I speak/studied, I like English best? I don't really know why… But surely, my fondness for the English language also plays a role in the reason why I write this post. Troye Sivan released his album Blue Neighbourhood in fall 2015, but I kinda only really got into it after he released Heaven as a single. But first things first: Let's introduce Troye cause I'm assuming, there's at least one person reading this, who doesn't know who he is (Hi Lukas :D) - and maybe more. Troye Sivan is a 21-year-old  Australian singer/songwriter/YouTuber/actor allrounder. Started off playing young Wolverine in the 2009 X-Men film, went on to make videos, squeezing in a song every now and then. Released his first small EP called TRXYE and a single, Happy Little Pill in 2014 which immediately crashed into the charts around the world - due to his YouTube prominence. He then went on to release a full EP called Blue Neighbourhood in late 2015. And as you can tell by the title, this is exactly what this #TMIishTuesday is about! As you can read in my coming out chronology that I posted in September, I subscribed to Troye in 2013. Since, I've watched pretty much every video he uploaded. Vlog-like videos at first and some cover songs in between. When he announced his first EP in 2014, I remember being skeptical. But I just loved the Happy Little Pill song, so I bought it. Fun fact: Contrary to my expectations, my mum liked the song as well. :D In fall 2015, step by step, Troye uploaded the Blue Neighbourhood trilogy: The three part series of music videos to Wild, Fools, and Talk Me Down that tell the story of a young love that does not succeed due to… let's say... "parental issues"? Anyway, the trilogy is great. Check it out! (At the time I only could watch the videos in the Netherlands, now that GEMA and YouTube finally found a compromise, it's also available in Germany - yeey!) This trilogy - and the music itself - made me want to get these songs. So that's what I did. And I liked Youth too, so got those four songs. Only those four cause I wasn't quite convinced by the others. Those four, tho - ACE! I really digged every single one of them! And Youth was my favorite one. But that was it for more than a year. There were some videos of Troye performing live that actually made it to my sub box (battling this GEMA disgrace), but they still didn't make me crave more of his music. Until… Heaven. January 19, Heaven was uploaded to Troye's VEVO channel - a song featuring Betty Who. And it made me realise how much I liked Troye's music. And also the songs that I hadn't bought. So I went ahead and got the rest of the album, too. And, trying not to exaggerate, but I must have listened to nothing but those songs for the next 48 hours. Okay, some radio in the car - but for the rest: Blue Neighbourhood and Blue Neighbourhood only. It's been three weeks now. And there's hardly been a day that I didn't have a song of the album stuck in my head. I just dig the entire album now! Btw, have I made it clear already that I love that album? I love this album! Okay, seriously though. Let's try and make a top 5? 1. Too Good - The title is basically giving it away already: This song just is: Too good! Guitar sounds? In a Troye song? I was SO surprise at this! You know I'm a sucker for a good electric guitar in songs. Oh, AND a piano intro? Plus it's featured prominently throughout the entire song? I FREAKING LOVE THIS SONG TO PIECES! 2. for him - That beat tho! Also: Cool lyrics! 3. Youth - Still up there. Pretty much from day one. Rather speedy song, very thoughtful breaks in the beat. Great lyrics as well. 4. Cool - Very catchy lyrics. Very catchy beat as well. Well done! 5. Fools - The piano intro - again! Thoughtful song, kinda depressing mood, but have you heard the chorus? Such a refreshing beat going on there! To be honest: It was f*ing hard ranking the songs! When I've rated 13 of the 16 on the album 5/5 and posted 8 of them as #mightygoodnighttune in 2017 already, that says a lot! :D And as of typing this (on Monday night), I haven't even posted Fools. That miiiiight change tonight - Update (Tuesday night): It didn’t. It was a close one tho. Anyway, I should stop now, else I'll just fanboy for hours and hours and hours. One last thing though: The lyrics of ALL the songs on Blue Neighbourhoud are written in a gender neutral way. You can't tell, which gender the person in the songs is addressing. That’s just amazing! When most songs are about love, it must have taken a lot of focus and hard work to get the lyrics like that. Shout out to you, Troye! Before I go, let me know you thoughts about Blue Neighbourhood. Do you like it? Do you like Troye’s music in general? What is your favorite song of the album? Tell me, I wanna know! Place a comment, tweet me, dm me, or do anything else you can think of to get to me. Talking about tweets: Today’s TMIish Queer Shoutout is a single tweet. It's Sam Collins's tweet about his birthday from last week. It might just be two pictures of a rather happy guy captioned: "Samantha always told herself that she'd never make it to 21. She was right… but he did" But this tweet says A LOT about Sam. I don't know Sam personally and have only been following his YouTube and Twitter for 5-6 months. But knowing that Sam is trans*, this tweet gave me goose bumps as soon as I read it. It says so much about how trans* people feel. Caught in the wrong body, they are extremely unhappy, sometimes to the point of suicide fantasies. And from the stories he shared, I can tell that Sam was very unhappy, too. Then he decided to transition and go by "Sam" from then on. Now people in the streets see him as a man - and that gives him confidence. If you're interested in a channel that includes trans* topics, but definitely is not limited to it, check him out. As always: Next #TMIishTuesday next Tuesday. If you have any questions in the meantime, just ask away. Whatever you’re curious about - I don’t bite. :) Until then: Stay mighty! Linkage: [Sorry, I’m too lazy now... It’s all in the post anyway :P]

17 things I’d want you to know
Since we’re now into 2017, here is is an open list of 17 things I wish I could talk to my sister about (some of which I honestly cannot believe I’m putting on the internet). I miss and love you, Miss Rebonka. Here goes...
Our goofball brother and his kickass girlfriend are engaged, and it’s WONDERFUL! I’m so overwhelmingly happy for both of them, and I only wish we could sing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” at the reception like we’d been planning for who knows how many years now.
After several months of questioning/discovering my sexuality, I am becoming more and more comfortable in my own identity as a bisexual. I’ve come out to a couple people and am going to talk to more when I’m ready.
It’s been so hard without you, but I’m trying. I’ve been overwhelmed. I’ve had panic attacks, and I’ve pulled myself out of/away from panic attacks. I’ve experienced a lot of depression symptoms during finals week and a lot of this winter break, but I’ve also attended counseling sessions regularly (once a week with Pastor and now once a week with a professional therapist too - double the counseling, double the fun!!! I’m pretty sure that’s a thing). Who knew showering or not hating any conversation/social activity could be so hard? So I’m trying to be patient with myself and take care of myself, not just of my responsibilities.
My friends are so awesome. It’s been rough, especially November and December, but they help bring me back to my senses with crochet Baymax plushes and care packages (including an oil diffuser that SMELLS LIKE THE “BE OUR GUEST” SEQUENCE IN THE DISNEY WORLD PHILHARMAGIC SHOW !!!!) and long talks over food, and they are just so awesome. I couldn’t get through this year without them.
I dropped the instrumental music ed major to have more time to better take care of myself, so I’m just (well...”just”) doing vocal music ed now. It was definitely the right decision, and I’m so grateful that you showed me there is no shame whatsoever in lightening your load and asking for help. Thank you for helping me learn that mental and emotional health are far more important than work, even when you’re passionate about it.
Our baby cousins are so freaking cute, it’s insane. Your snuggle buddy is crawling and well on his way to walking (and finally likes our mother now!), and the other beautifully big-eyed baby doesn’t spit up all the time anymore and they are both just SO ADORABLE and I love them!
Shoutouts to your best friend from high school (who graduated with his master’s even after a rough semester) and our lovely “cousin” (who will graduate from her special education college program this May) and our actual cousin (aka my “buddy,” who graduated in December and will have her official teaching license in less than 2 weeks!).
On a related note, I love our ginormous extended family. They’re all so weird and wonderful. They bought $40 worth of popcorn and soda for our group at the movies, and joked with our brother and future sister-in-law about doing a Star Wars themed wedding, and give their parents crap (which is obviously returned with gusto), and are just all-around awesome. Overall rating: 100/10.
My elementary music education study is really happening! I have super awesome teachers lined up to observe/interview throughout January, and it’s going to be SO cool and practical and I’m just so excited!
I did my senior sax recital - it was so much fun and i loved it! I had some major musical/confidence/mental breakthroughs and I am really proud of myself (not something I say very often). I know you would be too.
Being an officer for chapel choir and especially for band has been SO amazing. I love the other officers, and it’s so cool getting to help with some of the behind-the-scenes stuff!
The older I get and the more I read/watch the news and opinions on the news, the more liberal I realize I am. I love Samantha Bee SO much - her first couple shows after this shitshow of an election were awesome. They help me cope with the anger and frustration I feel, and I want to find ways to work for change (including being as compassionate and kick-ass a teacher as I can).
Because I’ve been having such a hard time, I’ve been writing a lot more and journaling a lot more and, for the past month, blogging regularly. Which has been super helpful. But I wish there were more resources out there that I knew of (like a good book or blog about sibling loss to cancer or whatever that’s not super cheesy and annoying)...because I hate feeling like an angsty teenager all the time when it feels like “no one gets me” or “no one’s been through what I have” (not that I want them to, but it’s isolating).
Mom and I found your baked brie pie crust “recipe.” I tried it and it was SCRUMPTIOUS! And we labeled it and wrote out the full instructions so that we actually know how to make it in future (thanks for that...adventure). I was annoyed with you for the first time in a long time, and it was kind of fun to be honest. I even blogged about it. :-)
Turns out that for years, Andrew and I have both been sneaking a cookie at a time from the freezer in the basement whenever we go downstairs alone for something. We didn’t know the other was doing this until Mom and Dad cleaned out the freezer to make room for my recital cookies, and discovered a container of “peanut butter balls” (with one left in it, courtesy of our brother) and a container of “cookie dough brownies” (two left, my work). Needless to say, it’s been a source of much laughter and ridicule since.
Moana was SO AWESOME. Even better than we’d imagined. I’M SO EXCITED AND I SING IT ALL THE TIME!
I miss you so much. You’ve helped me a lot this semester, even without the daily texts/goofy Tumblr messages/tearful phone calls/silly letters/etc. Lots of learning and love and self-discovery and feeling like shit and feeling better again. As we both know, healing is not linear. I’m going to try to remember that better this year. So thank you, twin. I miss you so incredibly much and I love you more than Tamatoa loves shiny things. <3 Lots of love, Lizzy
