Steve learned from early on that Billy was gonna be a rough roommate to deal with. He knew him from high school. During that time, they had a weird rivalry. One where they wanted to ruin each other’s lives, but couldn’t ever be apart from one another.

Steve had a mental list on what made Billy a difficult person to live with.

1. He slept in most of the day 2. Kept his room a mess constantly 3. Drank juice from the carton. Gross. 4. Smoked his weed everywhere around the apartment instead of outside. Which made Steve smell like it too. At least he had the decency to go on the balcony if he wanted to get high 5. Hogged the Xbox like he bought it himself 6. Occasionally gave Steve a hard-on when he would get back from the gym, very sweaty.

The last one, Steve was still confused about. He didn’t know if Billy making him horny was a good or a bad thing. He was leaning towards the latter though. It didn’t feel right to him that he would rub one out to the thought of his roommate from time to time while also fucking Nancy.

Nancy and Steve had tried to make it work multiple times. Tried the whole lovey-dovey Hallmark movie shit. But each attempt just ended up with one of them getting hurt by the other. Nancy wanted to focus on school and internships for her criminal justice degree and Steve felt like he wasn’t mature enough to handle a relationship. So they had just decided to stay friends who would still have sex with each other. No strings attached of course. Which would lead to the 7th reason on why Billy was difficult to live with.

He hated Nancy’s guts.

Like a lot.

Never gave an explanation for it either. Even when the 3 of them were in high school. Every time Billy would see the other two with each other he’d get insanely jealous. This obviously never wore off once they all started going to college. Every time Steve would bring the girl over, she and Billy would most likely end up in a screaming match. Which Harrington could never be peacemaker in because the both of them were too stubborn to back down from each other. When this happened he would usually leave and go to his car to smoke. Try to get his mind off the fact that situationship would never get along with his roommate.

Also that he found said roommate very hot.

Billy not being out of the apartment at 9pm was very uncommon. Usually he’d be at a party getting trashed with Tommy or Eddie. Steve usually wouldn’t mind if he hadn’t planned on finishing Love Island. Now Billy was gonna be up all night talking shit to people Call of Duty.

Steve was on the couch watching the blonde play the first person shooter. He couldn’t keep his eyes off Billy. His hair was tied up into a sort of messy bun. Per usual, he had no shirt on and Nike shorts that he cropped so that most of his thighs were exposed.

The round ended and Billy took an opportunity to take a hit from his dab pen.

“Surprised you’re not out with she-devil tonight.” Billy stated as he queued up for the next match. Steve knew he was referring to Nancy but ignored it to keep the peace.

“She’s at some party with her stuck up wannabe lawyer friends. Definitely not interested.” Steve rolled his eyes as he got up from the couch and went to the small kitchen to find something to eat. After digging through the freezer he finally decided on pizza rolls. He grabbed a plate, threw a half bag’s worth of the small snack, and put them into the microwave.

There was a brief moment of silence between the two boys. All that could be heard was the humming microwave and the menu music from Call of Duty. This seemed to happen every time Steve and Billy were alone. They’d have a brief conversation and then the majority of time they spent with each other was silent. It was obvious that both of them had shit they wanted to say. Mainly Harrington. Coming to terms that he probably liked dick and Billy, left him feeling awkward around the blonde. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to take the risk.

But Billy Hargrove is all about risk.

“If you’re only gonna fuck her, why do you keep Nancy around?” Billy asked as he kept his attention on the video game. Once again, the room went silent. The only answer that was provided was the beeping of the microwave indicating that the pizza rolls were ready.

If Steve had to be honest, he didn’t have an explanation. It was just the norm for him and Nancy.

“I mean, I don’t know dude.” Steve was trying to find some form of answer. “That’s just the way things are between us. She doesn’t seem to mind.”

That wasn’t exactly the answer Billy wanted. But he wasn’t sure what he would’ve wanted to hear. It was frustrating because he knew Steve could do so much better. Billy’s been wanting to show Harrington what he’s been missing out on for the longest time. There was just a big obstacle in the way. Was Steve even gay? Or even bi for that matter. There was a decent chance that he was. In Billy’s eyes anyway.

The only evidence of Steve being gay was one time where the two boys got into somewhat of an altercation. Over what? Neither of the boys could probably remember. But one thing led to another and Billy ended up on top of his roommate. Straddling him as he had Steve’s arms pinned to the ground. He could’ve sworn that something hard was growing under his ass too. Nothing ever came from that moment though. The next day both of the boys had subconsciously decided to forget the whole ordeal.

Why not test out the waters though? Billy thought.

“So if you’re not dating her, then does that mean you’d get your dick sucked by someone else?” Billy’s question left Steve puzzled.

“What does that have to do with anything?” Steve responded.

“You could literally be fucking anybody you want but you still keep yourself to her?” Billy didn’t usually refer to Nancy by name often. He didn’t think that highly of her. A result of jealousy you could say.

Steve wanted to be mad at his roommate so badly. But Billy wasn’t wrong. Steve wasn't attached to Nancy or vice versa.

“I’d beat your ass so bad right now if you weren’t right.” Steve threatened as he finally grabbed the plate of pizza rolls from the microwave and walked over to rejoin Billy in the living room. This time there was little room in between them on the ouch where they sat. Billy immediately took notice of this.

At this point Billy knew he had to make a move. There was nobody to stop either of them. He wanted to drive Steve crazy. Crazy to the point where he wouldn’t even remember Nancy’s name.

The Call of Duty round had come to an end and Billy exited out of the game. The time was now.

“So, in theory, if you had to describe the perfect person you’d want to suck your dick, what would they be like?” Hargrove stared directly at his roommate, pulling out and hitting his dab pen in the process.

“What kind of fuckin’ question is that?” An interested smirk formed on Steve’s face as he gestured for Billy to pass him his pen. He took a hit and blew the smoke from his mouth. Harrington pondered for a bit, gathering all the traits in his mind that would make someone attractive to him. “I’d say Blonde.”

“But you’re banging Nancy?” Billy interrupted.

“She's an exception.” Steve laughed before continuing. “Always been attracted to stoners. Plump lips, muscles, fat asses…” Steve trailed on not realizing the description that was coming out of his mouth. It didn’t take long for Billy to realize that he was definitely being marked out.

“Are you describing me?” Steve went silent. This could go one of two ways. Either Billy was gonna be horny enough to wanna suck Steve off or Billy was gonna laugh at him and tell the entire campus. “Because if you are, I’m totally not mad about it… or anything.”

My brain is really fixated on this right now (I'm procrastinating) so I present the definitive list of who likes and hates Reagan in Stranger Things:

The Byers Family:

Joyce is far too overwhelmed most of the time to really think about politics. She didn't vote for Reagan in '80 and wouldn't have in '84, if she'd remembered to vote (normally I'd give her shit for forgetting, but her boyfriend died and her son was possessed by an extra-dimensional horror the day before the election)(Lonnie Byers is a dick whoever he voted for. Probably a Reagan Democrat, but I don't care enough about his character to be sure.)

Jonathan Byers is not very engaged in politics, like his mom, and for most of the same reasons. He will come to hate Reagan as he gets older and starts paying more attention to politics

Will Byers like many kids doesn't know a lot about politics. At twelve he feels vaguely positive towards Reagan because he's the president and the president is supposed to be good. By fifteen he is aware of the AIDS epidemic and what the Reagan administration is doing about it (essentially nothing). Season 4 Will loathes Reagan.

The Hendersons: Claudia Henderson is canonically a Democrat, which doesn't mean she hates Reagan, but does make it more likely. My guess is she hates Reagan. Dustin doesn't care much about politics and doesn't develop an interest over the first four seasons, so his opinion is shaped by his mother's; generally negative but he doesn't have enough knowledge to debate it.

The Sinclairs:

We don't know much about Charles and Sue, other than that they seem to love each other and their kids. I'm going to say they hate Reagan if for no other reason than not being blind to the racism in his campaigns (states rights to do what, exactly?)

Lucas at twelve hasn't developed any interest in politics, so like Dustin, goes along with his parents beliefs. By fifteen, though, he's getting more interested in the world at large and hating Reagan in his own right.

Erica actually kind of likes some aspects of trickle down economics (she envisions herself as a rich business woman and doesn't want to pay taxes). And he is right about the Russians being evil. But under his watch those Russians built a secret base in her town and hurt her friends. She thinks Reagan is not competent and someone else would do better. Doesn't like Reagan and I suspect will grow to hate him as she matures.

The Wheelers:

Have a Reagan/Bush sign in their yard in season 2. Sadly, Karen and Ted like Reagan.

Nancy in season 1 is young, idealistic, empathetic, and intelligent. She's just starting to get interested in politics and she does not like Reagan at all (she keeps quiet about it though; her parents would not approve). And the more she learns about the world, the less she likes him.

Mike Wheeler likes Reagan in the first few seasons. Hates him in season 4, due mainly to teenage rebellion and wanting to be like Eddie Munson.

Holly is too young to have a political opinion she didn't get from her family. Her ability to view the world is still too constricted by her parents. I see her as one of those people who became nostalgic for Reagan during the W presidency.

Barb is developing her political awareness along with Nancy. She also hates Reagan.

Jim Hopper: I hate to do this to you all, because I know he's a well liked character, but there is almost no chance that Hopper isn't a Reagan voter. He is a small town police chief who lives largely off the grid. He does not care for the federal government, and Reagan promised to keep that government out of his way. And since the lab has been around since the 60s, he probably doesn't blame the Reagan administration for any of the Upside Down or what El went through.

El/Jane Hopper: probably doesn't know who Reagan is until after season 2. Holds onto a vague approval of Reagan in Hopper's honor through season 4, but is beginning to have doubts.

Steve Harrington: I really want him to hate Reagan. But his parents are definitely Reagan supporters and while I see Steve as a genuinely good person he's also a guy who goes along with things rather than questioning them. So he probably likes Reagan until Robin and her hippie parents teach him better post season 3. (Unless there really was a hot girl who hated Reagan at Hawkins High. Steve may be a guy who has to be told things, but he does listen.)

Tommy H and Carol: They've never given national politics a thought, and won't for many years (post college). Whether or not they end up liking Reagan will depend on what crowds they fall in with at college. I could definitely see Tommy as one of those gay Republicans, though.

Mr. Clarke: Hates Reagan for his devaluing of the American public education system. Would never talk about politics with his students, though.

Murray Baumann: Hates Reagan, but not because he thinks Reagan is an especially bad president or person. Murray just reflexively hates all politicians.

Kali Prasad: hates any and all representatives of the government that kidnapped and tortured her in the name of science, including Reagan.

Bob Newby: probably likes Reagan, but is one of those people who think politics isn't very important.

The Hargrove family:

We know hardly anything about Max's mom, and all we know about her step-dad is that he's abusive and violent. They're middle-class white people so by demographics they probably like Reagan.

Billy doesn't have the mental bandwidth for politics. He experiences mainly anger and fear that has neen sublimated into anger. Hates Reagan the way he hates pretty much everyone else.

Max doesn't have a strong opinion until Mondale picks Ferraro as his running mate. Baby feminist Max wanted a woman vice president, so she started looking for reasons to like Mondale/dislike Reagan. Once she was looking, they were easy to find. Loathes Reagan, and tries to convince El to join her in her loathing.

The Buckleys: They're hippies who didn't stop being hippies when the draft ended. Richard and Melissa despise Reagan and all he stands for. Robin is independent enough that she doesn't need to rebel against her parents' political beliefs when they're clearly the correct ones.

Alexei: Desires nothing more than to be fully corrupted by the capitalist west. Knows Reagan only as a symbol of evil and loves him for it.

Ms. Kelly: Not a Reagan fan, but like Mr. Clarke keeps it to herself.

Mayor Kline: Respects Reagan as a fellow corrupt politician. What's the point of power if you aren't using it for personal gain?

Argyle: Only doesn't hate Reagan because Argyle doesn't do hate. He lived with that man as governor before the rest of the country had to experience him as president. He knows exactly what Reagan is (terrible).

Jason Carver: a Reagan supporter from a family of Reagan supporters.

Chrissy Cunningham: likes him well enough, she supposed. Her parents like Reagan, and they know better than she does. (Had she lived, either she would have married Jason right out of high school and continued making herself small and voting for Republicans or she would have come into herself at college and met new people and formed new opinions . I'm not sure which. )

Munson family: Wayne's a union guy and doesn't like Reagan's anti-labor policies. Eddie is a contrarian who hates authority. Reagan is despised in their home.

Fred Benson: actually dislikes Reagan as an act of teenaged rebellion against his parents. Would probably have reconsidered as an adult if he hadn't died.

Patrick McKinney: old enough to recognize a racist dog whistle when he hears one, even if it comes from the president. Hates Reagan, but isn't going to bring it up around his teammates.

Andy (Jason's sidekick): that kid clearly likes Reagan.

Ahhhh!!!!!!!! Just finished all 4 seasons of Stranger Things

So here are my thought

Love season 1; the cast are so tiny and young and it really sets up the characters

Love the whole group are exploring and find clues only to meet up later

I can’t for the love of god remember what happens in season 2

At first a didn’t know how to feel about max; really thought she was going to be a side character

Love season 3; but wow the begging half is so slow

A love the scoop troop (robin; Steve; Dustin; and Erica)

I think Steve charges really peaks in season 3. For nance I think from the get go she was a good character (after the whole barb being killed)

My favorite party kids is Dustin, love his dynamic with the teens :)

I also like hopps and Joyce dynamic too! I think they make a good couple; they both have flaws and they kind of make each other better? Get a weird Enemy to lovers vibe from them

Robin my beloved. She is definitely adhd-coded.

Hopper and elven dynamics is good too! I think elven makes hopper better (tho he’s super violent and I think that’s not good)

Elven and mikes being a couple; :/ it’s alright I can take it or leave it

Season 4 is….complicated

Listen I know that the Upside Down needs a big bad but Veca….hmmm I prefer of the main villain was just a monster instead of some guy

Hate that they try to make elven seems like a murder and evil and do the whole “eleven and one are they same! Even tho one was literally just introduced this season…”

I think Dustin x Susie is cute :)

At first I was supper big on max x Lucy’s but after witness season 4 I ship it!

I saw on TikTok about Eddie and I thought he would be a super important character or at least a cool new add in to the teen squad but…….Eddie is just some guy

The bay scene and when Dustin is talking to the uncle made me emotional

Nancy and jothan need to break up. Listen they were good in season 1 but I think it was just a short term romance. Like you can see them not getting alone in season 3

I don’t like how they keep trying to make Steve be back with Nancy! Those 2 don’t need to be together! They’re grown as characters and then being back together feels like it would make their character worse?

:( they made Steven not want to hang out with Dustin like….that his baby brother…..don’t

The whole Russian plot is…..unnecessary? I feel like the whole Russian thing was defining unnecessary in season 4

The whole government/One thing gets kid of confusing

Love the fashion and the neon color background

Will is definitely gay and I hope he and Lucas have more characteristics in season 5

Mike in season 5 was just…there…also him being the heart? Will, hon, mike is not the heart. That’s Dustin or you. Like one of those 2 is the glue of the group?!

Fruity four my beloved (tho I can really see any “canon evidence” for Steve x Eddie. But wow I can definitely see evidence for Nancy x robin)

I definitely feel like Eddie will come back as the vampire/bad guy theory because just how popular his character is

I wish Chrissy wasn’t a minor character. It would have been cool to see a cheerleader in the teen group. Make the dynamic more interesting. Also god I want to know more about her background :(

Oh! I forgot the whole bullied elven part? Yeah that feel weird, like I know there trying to make eleven normal and have her being a teenager but the whole bully thing was completely drop…so what was the point???

Arcgle is cool! I think he and Jonathan should be a couple :) or something

ok ok so i really feel like everyone's characters got fucked up by season four. like it was so out of character for everyone in general and for the most part.

yes, parts of it were good. but most of the good parts were just like relatively good compared to everything bad going on and/or compared to all of the theories we were anticipating be true.

i've seen people say most fan theories were better than what happened and .. yeah. so here are my thoughts. this will have spoilers.

i think steve should've died instead of eddie. it would've sucked and hurt, but isn't that the point? like, if they're trying to really prove this time that things are serious and they can't make it out alive all the time and all that jazz, then touch. the main. cast. why steve? uhh free joe keery ( /hj ) but also, it would've been good to solidify him as a hero and not make his whole character about loving nancy, but about loving his friends. plus, then eddie would serve as a "replacement" of sorts .. help "parent" the kiddos, ya know?

i think it's an interesting and probably unintentional parallel to have nancy end up with jonathan at the end of the season. let's go back, let's look at this. okay so season 1 .... nancy is with steve, fights monsters with jonathan, gets back with steve. season 2.. breaks up with steve, gets with jonathan. season 3, still with him. season 4 ... with jonathan, fights with steve ( !!! ) , gets back with jonathan ( !!!!! ). see, now, i'm not a stancy by any means, really. but, if im season 5 she gets with him, i could see this parallel playing out, and in that regard, i'd be all for it. but the way they went about it and wrote it, ruining all 3 of their characters, really, i'm like kinda against it?

max's ending in the season was kinda strange. i don't know how to feel about it. they could've saved her more or they could've killed her off, but this halfway thing seems almost lazy, i'm just holding out hope they remedy it in a great way.

let will say he's gay. i'm glad they brought back good big brother jonathan, though. but barely.

i have a lot of thoughts on mike, too. but i feel like they've all mostly been said and have been said better than i could say them. but the point of his life starting the day will went missing... bad writing. i'm just hoping the duffers didn't think that one through. romantic and cheesy monologue, badly written by mistake and neglect for his dynamic with will. it's like fine but tacky writing like objectively. so i think they're just bad, lazy writers and forgot to factor in actual character development. or i could get into the subconscious of mike and call it genius, but i guess i'm too lazy, too.

oh, and jason? that was like, lazy. kind of laughable. i'm glad he's gone but after that really long and unnecessary fight? could've had a better ending, in my opinion. and again, that fight and having the sinclair be victims of fights like that was just soo uncomfortable and just doesn't sit right with me.

i have a lot more to say, i'm sure, but for now, i'm tired.

i just feel like a lot of the writing this season, especially the ending was just kind of lazy. i feel very like disappointed. not even mad or sad, just like empty. underwhelmed, maybe.

i feel the same way about this season as i do avengers endgame and infinity war. i hate those movies. i hate this season. but, i liked them. those movies and this season had a lot of really, really good bits. but the horrible, sad bits just make me feel such a strange, unique, odd and empty feeling that it's hard for me to want to watch them. lots of funny, little moments of dialogue and characters being seemingly happy or even just finding joy in the sadness. those little parts are done really well. but the send offs both pieces gave certain characters are just .... i don't know, man. i just feel bored and weird. idk.

Ok so I finally watched the new 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star episodes and here is what I think overall for the seasons so far, the characters, and part 2 of the seasons. Badically my opinions no one asked for 😁

9-1-1

- Let's rip the band aid off. I'm sorry but we're never getting Buddie. I'm a huge Buddie shipper myself, but I honestly have reached the point where I just don't see it happening. For one their friendship alone just isn't what it's been the past two seasons. Idk if its just me feeling this, but their scenes together, though sweet, just haven't been what they've been in the past. I mean this last episode is the most connection I feel from their characters than i have this whole season. I'm still not over Eddie's lack of reaction to Buck being trapped when Buck was ready to dig through the earth to find Eddie. Though I think there is still a chance Buck could be BI I just no longer have hope that Buddie is going to be a thing. I mean, they've at least hinted that Buck could ride that way, but Eddie has given zero signs of being into men at all. But honestly if they at least explore a BI Buck then I'll be happy, even if he's not with Eddie. It also doesn't help that there's a HUGE possibility that Oliver and Ryan don't get along anymore. They stopped following each other on social media and they post pictures with all the rest of the cast except each other. Its just looking extremely unlikely.

- I don't think Ana deserves as much hate as she's getting. I wasn't so fond of the Eddie/Ana pairing either, mostly because I was so into Buddie. But Ana does seem genuinely a great person and its a plus that Christopher loves her. I just wish that if they were going to persue this they would have built it up more and showed us more of her character. I mean we know close to nothing about her which is what makes it hard to like her or like her with Eddie.

- I'm glad that even if Buck doesn't end up with Eddie he still is obviously going to be someone very close to Christopher. Their relationship is so absolutely darling and even if its not Buddie, Buck is very obviously like a second dad.

- At first I was not at all happy with them bringing back Taylor. I found her character so freaking annoying in the past. But honestly her character seems to have mellowed out and I actually liked her. But I am PRAYING that if she sticks around its just as a friend and not a girlfriend. Buck and Taylor are just a huge NOPE in my book.

- I need more of Athena, Bobby, and Michael ASAP! I miss seeing them more on my screen!

- I'm super excited for baby Chimney/Maddie. And I'm so happy Chimney felt safe enough in his relationship to express his feelings about an at home birth. Their relationship is so sweet and healthy and it makes my heart so warm

- I swear on everything I love if they take that little baby away from Hen and Karen I will RIOT! I also hope to see more of Hen's mom and can't wait to see her pass her exam.

- Albert was wrong for dating Buck's bad date, but he's a good guy and overall a good friend. Buck needs more friends outside of Eddie. I hope they give him more of a storyline in part 2.

- Overall loved the first half of 9-1-1 season 4. I hope they do another crossover in part 2 so that Buck can meet Carlos.

9-1-1 Lone Star

- Yes I have hated the baby trope this first half, yes Gwyn has been annoying af and I'm ready for her to go, and YES Owen has been annoying this season too. But I still love Owen and no I don't believe he's a bad person or a bad father. I hope they do right by his character in the second part and bring the old Owen back now that his life is going to go back to what it was. But I also know this is going to leave room for another romantic interest which you just know they're going to bring in. Maybe they'll bring Michelle back 🤷🏽‍♀️

- The amount of screen time Carlos got is *chefs kiss*. I'm so glad we got to see more into his family dynamic. And how great he is as a cop?! Like make that man a detective already! Also Rafael's acting is superb. He has the most expressive eyes I've ever seen! His face with Owen compliments him on his caring heart and how that makes him a great cop? He BEAMED and it was like no one had ever told him that before. I wanted to hug him so badly.

- I'm so happy they're showing a healthy gay relationship. Sure they've had their ups and downs, but they show TK and Carlos working it out perfectly with good communication which is what we need to see represented more with LGBTQ+ couples on TV. I have no doubt they'll last because they're literally the reason most people tune in and the showrunners know that. And that reuniting hug? Ronen and Raf's real life friendship makes their on screen relationship feel so real and I hope that never changes.

- I need more Mateo. The only thing we know is that he's dyslexic and has a cousin in LA. He's such a great character I wish they'd give him more screen time.

- I know that most y'all see them as just a brother/sister pair, but I love the idea of Mateo/Marjan as a couple. I feel like she could help him grow up a little while he could help her have more fun. But either way I love their relationship and want to see more.

-PLEASE give Paul a GREAT love interest. Someone who loves and accepts him for everything he is. He deserves so much love.

- Tommy Vega is THAT BITCH! She deadass basically said "shoot me. You won't". LOVE seeing a strong black woman on the screen. And I hope they give more screen time to Nancy. I feel like she could be a really interesting character.

- Am I the only one that kind of wants to see them bring back Billy Tyson? I know thats so random, but I think he needs redemption. Idk 🤷🏽‍♀️

- Last but not least......thank GOD I read spoilers before watching the episode because if I hadn't prepared myself and they ended the show with that bridge scene......all I gotta say is JUDD AND GRACE BETTER BE FUCKING OK! OR I'M FIGHTING EVERY DAMN BODY! But honestly I think they will be. These two make the show, for one. Judd is deadass the glue that holds that firehouse together and is overall a great character. No way they're killing him off. And Grace is a fucking saint and also a great character. And she's one of the only two black women on the show. Showrunners, y'all really wanna try that? They're such a great, healthy relationship who are literally so unstoppable together. I think they'll have some trauma but survive. And possibly a Ryder baby? Yes please, and please let it be a baby boy. Judd needs a little mixed cowboy 🤠

- Overall the season has been good, but too Owen/Gwyn central. Hoping the next part has more spotlight on the others. Maybe some "Character Begins" episodes? I think a "Judd Begins" Episode would be perfect to start off with to tie into the whole "omg is he alive" aspect we're bound to get.
