Just as a heads up, in light of the TMA 185 release delay I will not be posting my normal Friday follow up fic tomorrow. It's basically just my predictions on what episode 186 will look like, so I'll post it next week after both episodes air

hi! i’m cia (black, korean & algo-indigenous mixed) and here are my personal criticisms on mag 185 since i have been seeing many tma listeners question this new episode. *please keep in mind that i don’t speak for every person of color, just providing my thoughts!
another terribly socially relevant episode, and it’s even been delayed due to its themes! i think the timing is poor, no doubt about it, but i’m glad that rusty quill took it upon themselves to address it as i’m not sure what else they would have done but that is a different post entirely
so. this episode has been written from a very demarginalized point of view. the subject of this statement, tina, is someone who seems to trust the police to protect her and finds that she is sorely mistaken in doing so.
the fear in this, to my understanding, isn’t so much that “this person of privilege is being abused!!!” but moreso is nuanced commentary on the fact that the very institution that is meant to keep you safe can turn against ANYONE, even the demarginalized who “haven’t done anything wrong.” tina questions herself many times in this episode, wondering if she had misstepped somehow. tina tells the officer who has jailed her that she hasn’t done anything illegal to deserve this treatment and the officer insists that things are different now — things have changed and nobody told tina. nothing stops our policing and jailing system from abusing their power.
i found it to be an interesting take — groups that are not marginalized can still be oppressed in other ways, they just aren’t being targeted for oppression like minorities are. majority groups assume that, just because they’re the majority, they’re safe from any type of oppression at all, which just is not true! and that is interesting to look into. listen. i am personally not offended by this episode but i won’t clock people who are. i think it’s a unique angle to take on brutality and the ignorance surrounding policing. many are stating that this episode is “insensitive” because they are missing the point or reading over the nuance. this episode is not particularly horror but it is haunting because there it goes to show that there is nothing preventing our governments and policing systems from exercising a disgusting “right” to harassment and murder and getting away with it — “doing the right thing” won’t stop you from getting hurt — and that is the point. no person is afforded any true luxury of safety under this system. we’re not supposed to be afraid for tina or even feel much sympathy for her (at least, that’s what i think!) we’re supposed to compare it to our own experiences and deeply consider how much it parallels our own thought processes. end post

PSA: TMA Episode 185 will be delayed.
From the Rusty Quill Discord:
Tumblr media
Autumn (Community Asst, she/her) - Today at 11:40 AM
In light of the recent killing of Walter Wallace Jr, we have decided to delay the public release of this week’s #MagnusPod episode due to some of the themes explored. MAG185 will instead be released next week as part of a double-bill.
We don’t believe it appropriate to "push" this content to peoples’ devices at this time but we will be releasing the transcript for MAG185 later today, so that those who wish to can familiarise themselves with the narrative events ahead of next week's episode drop.

185 spoilers
A few quick notes:
1. The episode has been delayed by a week due to current events. However, patrons have access to it and Rusty Quill is making a transcript available for everyone now. That means all the tma tags are going to inevitably be covered in spoilers.
2. Please tag your spoilers, guys. Read mores would be appreciated too. A lot of people won’t want to read the transcript ahead of time. And if you are trying to avoid spoilers, you might want to blacklist all the magnus tags for the next week.

The Fun Part (Tma Analysis)
Heyo! Here's the part two to This, using the data from Here.
Now in part one I give some of my rationalisation as to why certain Entities show up in statements less often than others.
In this one I’ll just be pointing out some interesting things in what the numbers say and/or some rationalization for weird numbers or sometimes just making up a in universe reason for some of Jonny’s writing quirks (Like how if you look at the numbers Jonny just finds ideas for Hunt episodes harder to think of)
Im gonna be breaking this down into seasons
Season 1
In Season 1 the most frequent entities are The Corruption and The Stranger (8 episodes each).
Both of these make sense.  The main antagonist of Season 1 is Jane Prentis and having looked at all the Stranger episodes* it is quite clear that it is Jonny setting up for future arcs and plotlines.  But that's the boring reason. The fun reason is that The Corruption is ready to perform its ritual and The Stranger is busy setting up for their own ritual and as a result there are plenty of statements within easy reach of Jonathan Sims for these two entities in particular, with two to four times the number of statements of the other entities.
Other notable entities are The Spiral and The Flesh.
Mostly just because they each get a couple more entities than is the usual as ten of the fifteen entities have between two to four episodes.  The Spiral gets a bit of a boost from Micheal popping up every now and then and that works for me.  The Flesh is a bit weirder I can't really think of a writing reason for it all I can say is that they tend to be quite striking and it's quite clear Jonny had a lot of fun with them and honestly that's fair.  But again, boring.  One reason could be that as mentioned in the other post there is a bit of a requirement for a statement giver notably they need to be desperate enough and you know still alive to go to the Archives, and these statements** are quite obvious as The Flesh has no patience for subtlety, but still enjoys the act of delaying the suffering.
And the final segment “What's the Eye Doing?”
The reason i'm including this is because Ive noticed that the Eye is strange in that it is the most popular entity over all of the show but is not the most frequent in most of the seasons.  So Im just gonna keep an eye on it.
The Eye shows up in three episodes: 12 First Aid, 23 Schwartzwald and 40 Human Remains,  and of these only really the Mag 23 is the only real statement about it I just find this interesting no real notes about it though.
*1 Angler Fish, 2 Do Not Open, 3 Across The Street, 24 Strange Music, 28 Skin Tight, 34 Anatomy Class, 39 Infestation, 40 Human Remains
** 5 Thrown away, 14 Piecemeal,  17 The Boneturner's Tale, 18 The Man Upstairs, 20 Desecrated host, 30 Killing Floor
Season 2
Now sure this season has three entities (The Stranger, The Buried and The Spiral) that have more episodes than the others and I will talk about them but what stands out more than anything else is just how spread out it is. I mean with the exception of those three and the Extinction the rest have between two to four with half of them having four and Hell even The Extincion gets one.  This is by far the most fair the spread ever gets.  Here’s the spread:
6: Stranger, Buried, Spiral
4: Desolation, Dark, End, Web, Eye
3: Vast, Flesh, Corruption
2: Hunt, Slaughter, Lonely
1: Extinction
So Why the Stranger, Buried and Spiral
Again the Stranger is being set up for season three and are working on their ritual, not to mention the presence of NotSasha gives a sizable boost.  The Spiral is a bit stranger but at this point Micheal is still running around and this gives it the needed boost.  The Buried is the only one that is not immediately obvious, after looking through the episodes* it still baffles me, as far as I can tell it's due to the focus on the Tunnels.  It could be that Jonathan in an attempt to understand the Tunnels tried to find similar statements and as a result the trend developed.
The Extinction?
So season 2 has the first mention of number 15, well maybe it does.  See the thing with most of the Extinction’s manifestations is that it could maybe be something else entirely.  The Extinction episode of the season is 65 Binary and might be the Spiral instead but the focus on a new type of life and technology means that it is very difficult to say really.
What's the Eye Doing?
The Eye falls right into the average place in the hierarchy for the season with four episodes.  Those being: 53 Crusader, 60 Observer Effect, 62 First Edition and 79 Hide and Seek.  These seem to work to expand what exactly the Eye is.  As I said, season 1 kind of lacks this and here Mag 53, 62 and 79 bring up the weirdness of the archivist, whereas Mag 60 explores how the Eye can manifest.  But the Eye isn't special every single entity gets fleshed out in season 2.
*41 Too Deep, 50 Foundations, 51 High Definition, 61 Hard Shoulder, 66 Held in Customs, 71 Underground
Season 3
This is the run away season.  This one is similar to the previous one but it does skew quite wildly at its end to favour the Stranger, for entirely understandable reasons.  But ultimately is still quite fair with only The Eye and The Extinction fall outside the three to five range.
So the Stranger
The Stranger has ten episodes this season and why is quite obvious as the climax of the season revolves around the Stranger.  Not much to say here.
Again the Extinction
Now my notes had 114 Cracked Foundation as one of the Extinction episodes but for some reason I can no longer find any mention of it on the Wiki so I have no Idea what happened here.  My guess is that in the wake of Mag 196 and 197 this particular entry got a lot of attention and the link with the Extinction removed.
What's the Eye doing?
This is the first season in which the Eye starts to take up the main spotlight with seven episodes. However looking through the statements* and it does not really appear in the statements but rather in the pre and post statement drama, as Jonathan and Elias use their abilities.  So as a result the Eye ends up feeling very different compared to the other entities and we don't see the ‘Horror’ of it for a lot of the podcast.
* 82 The Eyewitnesses,  92 Nothing Beside Remains,  105 Total War,  106 A Matter Of Perspective,  117 Testament,  118 The Masquerade, 119 Stranger and Stranger
Season 4
So season four is very, very weird in that the Extinction is the most frequent entity (tied with the Eye).  It does make sense as Jonny needs to catch the audience up on what exactly it is as it does not have the breath of work that the other entities have, so as a result Lucas spends his Time telling Martin about it.
Other notable Entities
The Lonely is also quite popular this season with five episodes but that also makes sense due to not only the presence of Lucas but also Martin’s fall into the Lonely.  Other than that The Hunt only has one statement* that has to do with it’s ritual.  The combination of this and the Extinction’s frequency in this season and the hunts underperformance in other seasons (4 in season 1, 2 from season 2, 3 from season 3 and 1 in this season) means that it has just slightly one more episode than the Extinction.   I do cover my rationalisation for this in the other post (Here)
What’s the Eye Doing?
Leading the pack that's what.  This season also has what other seasons lack statements that the Eye features in.  Now this is probably Jonny finally having the chance to explore the concept properly as it is a bit harder to really understand, but in world it could be due to a combination of Elias trying to keep Jonathan blind and Jonathan trying to explore his new identity as a ful blown avatar and going about it like a baby gay, consuming all media surrounding the topic.
*133 Dead Horse
Season 5
I debated not including this section but hell I'll just add on any updates if it's necessary.
So in this one to (to no one's surprise) the Eye is the golden child in this season after a brief jaunt into a domain for each fear the focus becomes almost entirely Eye focused, and if you want to be technical you can just add the Eye to every single episode but I did not.
The runner up
The Web is definitely making up good numbers especially with how the finally is turning out.
Other notables
The Lonely, Buried and Spiral all get a little above average.  Why? Well Martin has to deal with some baggage from Season 4 and Gaslight Girlboss is still running around but the Buried is a bit weird.  Again I think jonny just finds it easy to write claustrophobic horror, but again thats boring.  So lets have a look* and when I did I noticed that all three of these (and the Eye and Web) all are in 167 Curiosity so that adds a bit to the count.  But other than that its clear that it’s easy to add the Buried on top of another entity so its clear that the Eye simply likes how the Buried spices up the other flavours of fear.  And then finally the Extinction and Slaughter only get one each (163 In The Trenches and 175 Epoch) and they are the compulsory exploration episodes and unless the finale really is a complete curveball this probably won't change.
What’s the Eye Doing?
Having the time of its god damn life.
*166 The Worms, 167 Curiosity, 184 Like Ants, 185 Locked In, 195 Adrift

Episode 185 - Baby, ogres out!
This post was released 3 days ago in Patreon, as a reward for those that are supporting Paradise Hamsubs.
We are not happy with the translation of this episode. It focuses heavily on humans, and more so on very hard to sub ones like Charlotte's father, but the whole Setsubun theme has caused us trouble.
We did our best and delayed this a little just so we could make sure that we got the best translation possible with our current knowledge, but even so we're not quite pleased with the result. It is enjoyable, after all it's not a bad episode, but it's not the best.
For Halloween we decided to work on "scary themed" episodes, and so this is the first of many to come!
Please look forward to it.

New Diet Could Help MS Patients
A diet designed to boost brain health appears to benefit people with multiple sclerosis (MS), new research suggests.
MIND Diet
A study team examined 185 people diagnosed with MS within the past five years. Each had MRI brain scans and responded to detailed questionnaires.
Those who ate more of the “good” foods from a brain health eating regimen known as the MIND diet and fewer “bad” ones tended to have more preserved tissue in a critical relay station in the brain called the thalamus.
MIND is short for Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay. The diet is designed to benefit brain health.  The MIND diet combines aspects of the Mediterranean diet and the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet.
Food considered “good” include leafy vegetables, berries, nuts, and fish. Those considered “bad” include fried foods, butter, cheese, red and processed meats, and sweets.
The study also found a link between eating more full-fat dairy products and fewer MS brain lesions. Eating omega-3 fatty acids from fish also had brain benefits.
The study was published in the journal “MS and Related Disorders.”
MS Signs and Symptoms
MS symptoms are variable and unpredictable. No two people have exactly the same symptoms, and each person’s symptoms can change or fluctuate over time:
Cognitive changes: Including the ability to process incoming information, learn and remember new information, organize and problem solve, focus attention, and accurately perceive the environment.
Depression
Dysesthesia: A squeezing sensation around the torso that feels like a blood pressure cuff when it tightens.
Emotional changes: Anxiety, mood swings, irritability, and episodes of uncontrollable laughing and crying
Fatigue
Numbness or tingling: Numbness of the face, body, arms, and legs is often the first symptom experienced.
Pain and itching
Spasticity: Stiffness and a wide range of involuntary muscle spasms.
Vertigo and dizziness: People with MS may feel off balance or light headed.
Vision problems: Blurred vision, poor contrast or color vision and pain on eye movement.
Walking difficulties: Related to several factors, including, weakness, spasticity, loss of balance, sensory deficit, and fatigue. These can be helped by physical therapy, assistive therapy and medication.
Weakness: Results from the deconditioning of unused muscles or damage to nerves that stimulate muscles.
About 1 million Americans have MS. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50.
What IAA has to Say
It is still early to tell if this new diet can make a significant impact. It is however a step in the right direction. Insurance Administrator of America is here to bring you updates on the world of health.Just think of IAA as your third party health monitor, here to keep you in the know!

Drama Yeh Dil Mera Story Review Episode 25 – The Reactions
Drama Yeh Dil Mera Story Review Episode 25 – The Reactions
this was a more slow scene of Yeh Dil Mera. As much as I do comprehend that few out of every odd scene can be going on however this one certainly made them look at how much time was left for the scene to end since it appeared to be excessively delayed with monotonous discussions practically. All the things they canvassed in this scene were unquestionably vital yet it did not have the effect and…

Transplant Versus Current Standard Care for Sickle Cell Disease
October 2016 - Presented by Sickle Cell 101
By Michael DeBaun, MD
The decision to perform a progenitor cell transplant (bone marrow transplant) for sickle cell disease has always been difficult for patients and parents.
Transplantation has been considered an option in sickle cell disease because it is a potentially life threatening disease.  Historically, there have been few options for medical therapies capable of decreasing disease progression and providing a good quality of life.  Progenitor cell transplantation has traditionally used myeloablative conditioning (using chemotherapy to destroy the hematopoietic dividing cells in the bone marrow and throughout the body) and matched sibling donor (full brother or sister of the person with sickle cell disease).  Progenitor cell transplant has been the primary option to cure children with sickle cell disease; however, successful transplantation has been linked to long-term toxicities for some survivors, including but not limited to, severe chronic graft-versus-host disease and sterility.  The publication in 2015 of the multicenter, reduced-intensity, matched sibling donor transplantation trial conducted by Dr. Allison A. King and colleagues at eighteen centers around the world has provided critical information which advances our knowledge about progenitor cell transplant and its role for selected children with sickle cell disease and thalassemia.1
This study was conducted to determine whether progenitor cell transplantation using immunoablative (using medication that would decrease an immune response without completely eliminating all of the hematopoietic cells) reduced intensity therapy along with a matched sibling donor could be successful in curing sickle cell disease.  Over 12 years, a total of 43 children with SCD and nine with thalassemia received matched sibling donor transplantation with this reduced-intensity conditioning that included three drugs (alemtuzumab, fludarabine, and melphalan).  The overall (sickle cell and thalassemia) survival was 94.2 % and the event-free survival (no major adverse complications) 92.3 %, with a median follow-up of 3.42 years.  For sickle cell disease by itself, the survival was 93% and the event free survival was 90.7%.  After one year, no transplanted person was on immunosuppression and no graft versus host disease or rejection was noted.  For sickle cell disease, there were no new events (strokes, vaso-occlusive pain episodes, or pulmonary complications).
This study offers promise for children with sickle cell disease and a matched sibling donor to be able to receive immunoablative reduced-intensity transplantation.  Though this is encouraging the study falls short of becoming standard care for this population due to unanswered questions:
• The median follow-up of 3.4 years prevents the assessment of long-term complications, such as infertility, and the absence of the evaluation end-organ function dampens confidence about long term end-organ disease progression after transplant. • The biggest limitation is the lack of a comparison group of children with sickle cell disease receiving current medical therapy.  For children with sickle cell disease current advances in supportive therapy provide reasonable options to delay transplant until a clinical trial is completed comparing the short- and long-term complications of the transplant regimen to a comparable group of children receiving maximum medical therapy, the burden and progression of end organ damage may justify transplantation when compared to current therapy.
When this trial by Dr. King and colleagues started in 2003, hydroxyurea had not been recommended as standard care for children with SCD, but it is now recommended to offer hydroxyurea therapy at nine months.  In 2003, many hematologists elected to offer hydroxyurea therapy to those children with severe disease, with criteria similar to entry criteria for the transplant trial.
Recently two large pediatric sickle cell trials using current therapy have been completed.  In one prospective study, (prospective: children were enrolled, treated and followed over time), 185 children receiving hydroxyurea, with median duration of treatment of 10.3 years, had a 15 year survival of more than 98 percent.2 In the second retrospective study, (retrospective: medical records are reviewed for children on a therapy) 1,033 children with sickle cell disease were reviewed over an approximately 6.7 year period.3 They had a survival estimate over a five-year period of more than 98 percent.  These two large pediatric sickle cell disease studies provide inconvertible evidence that sickle cell disease in children is no longer a life threatening disease, but a chronic disease that may have life threatening episodes.
The multi-institutional reduced intensity conditioning and matched sibling transplant trial provides reasonable evidence for advancing the care of children with sickle cell disease.  However, the results fall short of recommending that this transplant strategy should become standard of care for sickle cell disease in children.
To advance the treatment of children with sickle cell disease, the next reduced-intensity conditioning transplant trial requires a longer follow-up duration, evaluation of end-organ disease, assessment of fertility, and a comparison group receiving maximum medical therapy.  Questions regarding the optimal reduced-intensity transplant for children with sickle cell disease deserve to be answered in a comparison study.  The work by Dr. King and colleagues brings us one step closer to finding that definitive answer.

MATCH #1- joined in progress. PCW Tag Team Title Match:‘The Self Proclaimed Savior of the Middle Class’ Big Labor and James the Jeep Worker (D) © vs. John and Ronnie Walker
This is a rematch from last Thursday when Big Union obliterated the Walker Brothers and then offered them a rematch.
Last week:Big Labor cuts a disingenuous heel promo about how, as the Self Proclaimed Savior of the Middle Class, he hated to deliver the Scabbuster to a fellow middle class member.  Of course, if the Walkers were part of a union- that class A, asskicking, they just received would never had happened.  Big Labor says he’ll give Walkers a rematch any time, anywhere.
Big Labor lays out Ronnie Walker with a Scabbuster and then turns to John Walker and smiles.  He lifts Ronnie up a second time and hits him with a second Scabbuster.
Suave: “JUST PIN HIM ALREADY!”
Big Labor makes the cover…1…2…NO!  Big Labor pulls Ronnie up at the last second.   He calls for a microphone and tells the Walkers they showed some guts in showing up here to get their ass handed to them a second time.  Big Labor tells John to pledge his allegience to the true Savior of the Middle Class…
Suave: “That’s Self Proclaimed Savior of the Middle Class.”
…or else he’ll spike his brother a third time.  John turns to the crowd for help.
Big Labor: “You don’t put your faith in the hands of some rabbling scabs.  You put your faith in me.”
John is about to answer when…

Blackwell ducks a right hand by Big Labor and puts him in the Katahajime.
Suave: “BLACKWELL’S CHOKING OUT BIG LABOR!”

MATCH #2- Six Man Tag Team Match The Tea Party (R) vs. Occupy Wall Street (D)
[…Average Joe  rolls onto Nate connecting with a knee. NRA tags in McAvay. McAvay rolls onto Nate connecting with a knee. Nate gets up. Nate springboard DDT’s McAvay onto the mat!  Nate locks McAvay in the Occupy Grapevine submission.  The referee checks for a tap out. … … McAvay is fighting the hold.  Blackwell in the ring with a double axe handle and Nate breaks the hold.  Nate sends McAvay out of the ring.  McAvay is in the wrong part of town as Shane swings a Steel chair and blasts him with it.  McAvay is bleeding as a result.  Nate does a handspring and hits McAvay with a bodyblock, what a move!  McAvay with a Salome suplex on Nate that drives him to the floor.  McAvay bites Nate’s arm. ]
Suave: “HOLY CRAP!”
[Back in the ring, McAvay hits the cobra clutch suplex.   He follows with an arm wrench and Nate is in trouble.  McAvay with a frog splash on Nate.  He picks Nate up and hits a stomachbreaker.  Tromeo tells McAvay to finish him off and throws him the seven iron.  *WHACK*  Seven iron shot on Nate! McAvay covers…1 …2 …3 ]
WINNER: The Tea Party @ 16:06
Leader of the PCW Executive Committee Harry Reid (D-NV) charges down the ramp with the Democrats in tow and they attack the Tea Party.   O’Beck Bahama, PCW Television Champion ‘The One Man Hollywood A-List’ Stone Chism, Big Union, The CTU, Axel Rodd, ’New Age Sensitive Guy’ Blaine Thomas-Taylor obliterate the Tea Partiers.
Finally, the Republicans respond in kind and send their wrestlers to the ring.  PCW Security tries to sort it all out as PCW goes to commercial.
BACKSTAGEPCW Investigative Reporter Woodward Bernstein reports that Jon Huntsman (R-UT) is dropping out of the Republican race to challenge PCW CEO Barack Obama in November.
Huntsman: “This race had degenerated into an onslaught of negative and personal attacks not worthy of PCW and not worthy of this critical time in American history.”
Huntsman endorsed the Massachusetts Redblood Mitt Romney (R-UT) and then took a shot at current PCW CEO Barack Obama (D-IL) for engaging in “class warfare” and added that he felt it contributed to the divisiveness in PCW.
This leaves five main contenders left in the race to be the Republican to challenge PCW CEO Obama (D-IL):
Newt Gingrich (R-GA) Mitt Romney (R-MA) Rick Santorum (R-PA) Ron Paul (R-TX) Rick Perry (R-TX)
Suave: “Last week, Valora Salinas finally got her wish- a title match against PCW Champion Daniel-San (I) which will take place this Saturday at South Carolina Slaughter.  Here’s how it came about.”
Last Thursday on PCW Politics is War on P-SPANDaniel-San: “All she wants is a chance at the PCW title.  And as the PCW Champion, I’m willing to give her a shot.”
Reid and Pelosi are stunned.  Daniel-San sets the match for next Saturday’s PCW South Carolina Slaughter show and says “may the best man…or woman win.”  Valora escapes from Big Labor and Chism and low bridges both men.  Reid and Pelosi run for it.
In the ring, Daniel-San soaks up the crowd’s applause- not seeing that John Creese and the Cobra Conservatives are sneaking up on him.  Creese signals his gang and they attack Daniel-San.  The Cobra Cons deliver a vicious beatdown of the PCW Champion until Valora hits the ring and makes the save.
PCW Champion Daniel-San (I) talks with Woodward Bernstein.  He explains that the reason he is giving Valora a title match is because he’s obligated to defend the title and she deserves as much as anyone else.    Mrs. Miyagi adds that he’s not going to take her lightly before getting cut off by the champion.  Daniel-San then adds that Valora has won titles before and it’s time to see just how she’ll handle a big time match.
Bernstein then asks about the sneak attack on him last week by John Creese and the Cobra Cons.  Daniel-San evades answering the question and walks away leaving Mrs. Miyagi puzzled.
Suave: “That was weird.  And totally out of character for Daniel-San.  What’s going on?”
MATCH #3- PCW Television Title #1 Contender’s Match w/Special Referee: ‘The One Man Hollywood A-List’ Stone Chism (D) and Special Enforcer: ‘The Japanese SuperDestroyer’ Yamamoto Tanaka (D) O’Beck Bahama (D) vs. New Age Sensitive Guy Blaine Thomas-Taylor (D)
The match is delay when Chism grabs the microphone from ring announcer Kimber Marshall and rants about the fact that he holds a title but O’Beck Bahama is considered the Democrat’s number one wrestler.  Chism says he’s getting tired of being disrespected and demands that Bahama relinquish his #1 slot to him.
Bahama, of course, tells Chism to stick it in his ear.  Chism attacks Bahama while ‘New Age Sensitive Guy’ Blaine Thomas-Taylor tries to play peacemaker.  Thomas-Taylor gets a Hollywood Blockbuster from Chism for his troubles.
Then Tanaka attacks both Chism and Bahama and there’s a three way brawl in the ring.  Finally, PCW Executive Committee Chief Harry Reid (D-NV) and former PCW Competition Committee Chief Nancy Pelosi (D-NV) rush down to the ring to separate the three.
Suave: “There is no love lost between Chism and Bahama or Tanaka.  None at all.  Chism’s responsible for costing both Bahama and Tanaka the PCW title at one time or the other.”
Finally, PCW Security hits the ring and tears Tanaka, Bahama, and Chism away from each other.
Suave: “For all the stuff about the Republicans squabbling, don’t forget that the Democrats have their loony wing as well that doesn’t get along with the others.”
Suave references the Andrew Sullivan article in Newsweek  which has on the cover this week the caption “Why are Obama’s critics so dumb?”  and then turns it over to Steve Hunter for a new feature on PCW…
Steve Hunter’s Three Sentence Political Commentary- because three sentences is all you need to get your point across.
TOPIC: Andrew Sullivan’s Newsweek article
Sullivan’s article in Newsweek is thoughtful and well worth the read.
The same can’t be said for the idiotic caption on the cover that could have come from the editorial department of MSNBC.
Really Newsweek, I thought only Fox did stupid stuff like this…allegedly.
BACKSTAGESnooki aka Nicole Polizzi of Jersey Shore fame tells PCW Investigative Reporter Woodward Bernstein that Donald Trump should be the next President of the United States.
Snooki: “I thought Trump was gonna run.  But he’s not, right? I would endorse him and vote for him.”
Snooki continued to ramble on until PCW Women’s Champion Valora Salinas (I) ran in and decked her with a steel chairshot.
Bernstein: “Thanks…I think.”
MAIN EVENT: ‘American Citizen’ Kevin Scott (R) w/’The Massachusetts Redblood’ Mitt Romney (R-MA) Texas Jack w/Rick Perry (R-TX) Jim Schmidt w/Ron Paul (R-TX) The Right Rev. Randy Richardson w/Rick Santorum (R-PA) K-Roy w/Newt Gingrich (R-GA)
Richardson, urged on by Santorum, starts the match on fire and nearly eliminates K-Roy right out of the box.
Schmidt is sluggish from the get-go and ends up being the first one eliminated.  Not a good night for the Ron Paul-ites in the audience.
After Richardson’s hot start, it’s Texas Jack who gets it in gear for the first time in months and starts to kick serious ass all over the ring.   He hooks up with K-Roy and they brawl from one side of the ring to the other.
Like Mitt Romney, ‘American Citizen’ Kevin Scott plays it cool and stays out of trouble for the most part.
Richardson runs out of gas and gets tossed by K-Roy.  Newt Gingrich cheers while Rick Santorum does not look pleased.
Towards the end of the match, Romney is talking with Johnny Suave at ringside and calls the Gingrich super PAC flick the ‘biggest hoax since Bigfoot.  Then Romney calls ‘McCain-Feingold a disaster.  Suave then reminds Mitt that McCain is his biggest, high profile endorsement and sure enough, McCain comes out.
In the end, Kevin Scott gets distracted and allows K-Roy to push him over the top rope and out of the match.
McCain and Romney talk as they head to the back.  Scott is not pleased.
Down to K-Roy vs. Texas Jack; Newt vs. Perry.
Texas Jack on his game but K-Roy is even more sharp tonight.   Texas Jack misses a Texas Lariat and K-Roy hits a K-Bomb and makes the cover.  Newt jumps in the ring and assists the referee in making a proper 1-2-3 and K-Roy wins the match.
Winner: K-Roy @ 11:26
Suave: “Not the greatest night for Romney.  Newt gets a little momentum headed into Saturday’s match at South Carolina Slaughter.   We’ll see you Thursday night for PCW Politics is War on P-SPAN.”
