Is it wrong to say that I kind of want nolan to go to a different team, like maybe Seattle?? Because here's the thing, he has had so much pressure put on him in Philly, and they will never stop calling him a bust. He could single handedly win the cup & they would still call him a bust and a waste of a second overall pick. He's an absolutely amazing hockey player, but this team & city dont give him what he needs. I love him with the other flyers. Their interactions are great and I know they all love each other, but he's never going to live up to the crazy standards placed on him here.

I said Seattle because they're a new team. They don't have a past. The team & the city can't place all their hope on one person because they don't even know if they'll be any good at all. There aren't any crazy standards that people have. He could make that team (depending on who else goes obvi) amazing. He could live up to his fullest potential.

People acted like nolan was supposed to do for philly what sidney did for pittsburgh (not to the extreme that sid did, but). People have acted like his migraines were an excuse and proof that he was a bust. No matter what he does, he will never be good enough to philly media & staff (like av for example).

Listen, I understand that he missed a lot of time with the migraines. I understand he isn't doing that well this season. But guess what, so does he. I think he needs to go somewhere else where he'll actually receive the support he needs. He's never going to stop being the "waste of a second overall" and a "bust" in philly to the media & the staff (not the team, they love him). He isn't getting what he needs in philly which sucks because I love him with that team.

I also think it should be noted that the reason he's a "bust" is because he's in philly. A lot needs to be done in the whole flyers org for them to win. I think coots should have the c, not giroux (or no one & they both just have an a). I think kevin hayes shouldn't even be a part of the team & someone else should have his a (he's a lazy player. he's also huge and does nothing with his size. freaking oskar got in a fight to get the team going. kevin can't even chase after the puck he turned over). I think we need a much better coaching staff & gm. The players are going to reflect on the coaching staff of the team; just like how the majority of students reflect on the teacher.

The game against the sabres (3.29.21) literally proved that the flyers are better without a coach than they are with av. If the flyers org doesn't replace the coaching staff, get a new gm (preferably), and fix the roster, then he needs to go somewhere else. He, and a lot of other players, are being wasted in philly.

I think he would do much better literally almost anywhere else (could you imagine him & cale on the same team?? the rosy cheeks you guys). I mean, maybe not in like ottawa or buffalo, but if he were on a team that knew what they were doing and had a good staff, he'd be unstoppable. Like there are so many players I'd love to see him on a line with. He could be so successful if he were just part of a different organization.

And dont get me wrong, I love the flyers. They're one of my favorite teams, but they suck. I'm going to support this team and the players, but im also not going to get mad if the players go somewhere else. Im still going to cheer for nolan no matter what team he's on. Im still going to cheer for the flyers no matter how they're doing. But again, I think nolan (as well as a few other guys) are being wasted in philly. I think a lot of the guys could be doing so much more than they are, but given that they're in philly, it's not gonna happen.

I would love for nolan to stay with the flyers and with the guys he's with now. But major changes outside of the players need to happen. If they don't, then yes, I do think nolan (and some others) should go somewhere else. It doesnt matter how good any of the players are if they have a coaching staff like av and a gm like they do now.
